"People allow fear to take over their lives and they end up not really living at all," Cassandra said with a shake of her head. She had never understood those kind of people. Sure she knew fear, and there were those she did fear, but she didn't allow it to stop her from living her life. She fought back when they threatened her or her loved ones. "Yes, we must find a balance. That is what they don't understand. Damon and the others. There is both evil and good in this world. One cannot survive without the other." Rosalyn watched as Hyomai sat up and some of her wounds began to bleed again. It was amazing how much healing Cassandra and Amelia had done. "Raven Darkholme. Yes we know of her," Amelia said with a small nod as her hand lightly scratched Nala's head. "These demons and humans have become quite adept at trying to kill us off. They will never fully understand us, nor will they understand that we are many. So much more than they can even imagine."~~~~~~ Constance chuckled softly as she stood up and stretched a little. She held her hand out to Merrick. "Let's walk then. There is so much of this place I haven't seen and I for one would like to explore."

Lorcan snickered as he hugged Cassandra. "I hate to quote Star Wars, but it's true: 'Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate'," he said with a chuckle.

Merrick shrugged. "'So much of this place she hasn't seen', she says... I ain't never been here period," he muttered under his breath in a slightly sarcastic tone. He knew from the way she almost immediately slapped him lightly that she'd heard him and didn't care as he took her hand, unconsciously summoning his clothes onto his body in the process of rising to his feet. "I wouldn't mind seeing you dart down the hall naked, yet at the same time I wouldn't want to knock every single person out that sees you," he muttered fondly.

Kýojin tilted his head slightly as he shifted his shoulders, hearing a slight creaking overhead though his sensory talent unconsciously identified Rosalyn's daughter and her mate as the source. "Sometimes having all of one and none of the other is worse than having a balance that shifts constantly," he muttered.

Hyómai didn't look all that surprised at Amelia's words. "They fear what they don't understand, even when they create it.... thinking they're God," she said, muttering the last part though it was still audible and obvious.

" Hey don't diss Star Wars. I happen to like it," Cassandra chuckled softly as she hugged Lorcan back. She didnt show it but she was still a little shaken by what had happened. Even though there were those who hated her and her kind and were constantly after them she had never been so close to death before. Rosalyn nodded slowly at Jin's words. He was right. Some people hsd trouble with shifting between the two. She took his hand gently in her own, not realizing she had done so and that her thumb ran lightly over the back of his hand. She had not seen a killing rage like that in a long time. He really was fearsome when someone he cared for was in danger. She was glad he was on their side...and was hers. The ways of mankind. Even to this day, despite all my years, I still dont fully understand them." Amelia sighed with a shake of her head. "Perhaps you should rest my dear? You are welcome and will always be welcome here." ---------- Constance could only smile at Merrick's words. He had a way of making her smile without even trying. She pulled him from the room, just wanting to stretch her legs. They hadn't been here long, but already she was feeling anxious. Maybe it was because of the babies and all the power in this place.

Lorcan shrugged, whispering in Cassandra's ear. "As do I, dear; I just rarely quote it," he murmured, nibbling momentarily on her earlobe.

Merrick cocked an eyebrow, not surprised at her actions. "Too bad there isn't a spa nearby, otherwise I'd suggest using it. You're more tense than a piano wire, honey," he muttered.

Kýojin exhaled slightly, not realizing that Rosalyn's touch was so comforting to him. He leaned over, tapping a nerve cluster between the nape of her neck and shoulder as his twin as she twisted to rise to her feet though he wasn't surprised when she slumped over unconscious as he'd intended. "No sense in hurting herself; she's more stubborn than I am normally... except when someone annoys me enough to kick their a**," he sighed.

Hyómai shrugged. She didn't feel tired as she carefully went to stand, though she was mildly surprised when she felt darkness engulf her senses abruptly.

Cassandra shivered slightly, her eyes closing as Lorcan whispered in her ear and nibbled lightly on her earlobe. It was too bad that there were people in the room with them. Rosalyn watched with amusement as Jin touched Hyomai, making her fall asleep. She knew the pressure points well and had used it plenty of times on others. "Well, we had better get her to a bed then. She needs the rest with what she has been through." She looked over at Amelia. "Does it matter which room she has?""No, not at all," Amelia said with a smile and nod. "Pick whichever you want." As she looked through Nala's eyes she saw how close Rosalyn was to Jin. Obviously the two had really connected. ~~~~~~~ "I'm sorry, I cannot help it," Constance sighed as their bedroom door shut behind them. "There's just...so much magic concentrated in this building. You would think the place would explode." She knew that a lot of the power was radiating off of the man her mother had befriended, but what she didn't know was that a lot of the power was also coming from her unborn children.

Lorcan tilted his head as an idea came to him. "I wonder if Rosalyn and her friend would be interested in watching the entire saga with us," he murmured to Cassandra telepathically. He knew she'd realize that his quote was a massive hint to his current suggestion.

Merrick chuckled. "What makes you think that your mother's friend is the only spice? I can feel restrained energy flowing around you as well," he said with a shrug as he gently massaged Constance's back from shoulders to hips.

Kýojin shrugged one shoulder slightly, scooping his twin over his shoulder, not seeming to notice how unusual it looked to carry someone he obviously cared about over his shoulder in a fireman's carry.

Cassandra chuckled softly. "Maybe they would, but let's give them time to get that young woman settled into a room of her own? In the meantime you and I can find other way to occupy our time."Rosalyn glanced over at Cassandra and Lorcan as Jin picked up his twin. She was glad that Cassandra had found someone that would appreciate and take care of her. She would have to speak to this young man and get to know him. She knew that Cassandra's brother would have wanted that. She turned her attention back to Jin. "There is an empty room near us. Let's put her there in case she needs us for some reason."~~~~~~~ Constance sighed as Merrick massaged her back from her shoulders to her hips. Her eyes closed as the tension seemed to seep off of her. "I never thought about that," she said softly. Sure she had felt the difference in her body, but she hadn't thought that it could possibly be anything other than hormones. "It's so strange Merrick, to feel this now." She knew that anybody looking for her would be able to find her easier now. Constance could hardly hold in the power she felt growing. Maybe she would speak with her mother, see if she could help.

Lorcan cocked his head very slightly. He blinked as Jin apparently vanished, though he noticed the door shifting slightly which gave away what he'd really done: leave the room.

Merrick shifted his weight. "Trust me, I know a thing or two about strange. I thought myself human... now... I'm half demon, half kitsune... so I can't really say that I'm 'normal' by any means," he said with a faint smile.

Kýojin tilted his head slightly, glancing towards Cassandra when she chuckled, obviously fond of the man near her. He glanced around cautiously before he flickered out of sight, seemingly vanishing into thin air though in reality he was only on the other side of the door and suspected Rosalyn knew it.

Cassandra blinked as Jin disappeared from the room with the unconscious woman. When Rosalyn spoke she gave her a smile and a nod. "We will be around. Find us whenever you want to talk."Rosalyn knew that Jin waited for her just outside the door. "We do still have so much to talk about." She nodded to everyone in the room before leaving to join Jin. "Well little Cassandra has found the other half of her soul. I am glad for that."~~~~~~ Constance smiled as she turned to walk backwards so she could look at Merrick. "To me you are normal. This is who you are." She chuckled as she turned back around and walked down the hallway. "I am not normal by any means either. I always thought I was just a witch, but apparently I am the granddaughter of the biggest bad guy in the demon world."

Lorcan chuckled softly. "You think they've done the same as the rest of us? I wonder what Kasumi is doing... haven't seen her since a little while after breakfast," he murmured, well aware it was just an hour or so before dinnertime

Merrick chuckled slightly as he let his dark amber-gold tail emerge, swaying slowly behind him. "Well, when I see your grandfather... I'm going to rip his manhood off and shove it so far down his throat it'll be sticking out where the sun don't shine," he said with a faint smile.

Kýojin tilted his head. "I don't know much about the concept of 'soulmates', though if the connection between us is anything to go by, it's possible," he said with a slight shrug as he took a few fluid strides. He was mildly surprised when he felt a hard elbow being driven into his back, right where Vega had impaled him before. He grunted, not all that surprised.

Hyōmai growled as she awoke, then drove a short elbow strike into the spine directly beside her. She heard the grunt before a low curse escaped her. "Let me down, you damned idiot, I can walk," she snapped.

"From the way they stay close to each other I would think so," Casandra chuckled softly as she looked up into Lorcan's eyes. He definitely was her miracle. He was able to calm her and make her feel safe when nobody else could. Amelia moved slightly as she began to clean up the mess that had been made. "You two should find something to do while you can. We seem to be having some down time. Take advantage of it before all hell breaks loose again."~~~~~ Rosalyn smiled at Jin's words. She too felt as if they were always meant to be together. She would never forget the time with Ambrosius or that she had a wonderful daughter because of him, but Jin was meant for her as she was meant for him. She laughed out loud as Hyomai elbowed Jin in the back. "Maybe you should put her down Jin. She is probably going to keep elbowing you if you don't."~~~~~ Constance couldn't help but laugh. "I would love to see that. It is exactly what he deserves." She slowed down so she walked by Merrick's side again. She linked her arm with his.

Lorcan cocked an eyebrow, glancing towards Amelia when she spoke. A slight smirk flickered at the corners of his mouth, giving away his amusement. He shrugged as he strode towards the door, blinking as he pulled it open to see the girl conscious and elbowing Jin furiously in the back though he didn't see why nor did Jin seem to notice it.

Merrick chuckled at Constance's mirth. "You deserve to smile and laugh as much as possible," he said quietly.

Kýojin sighed as she elbowed him again, harder. He shrugged slightly, lifting her before flipping her off over his shoulder behind him. He knew immediately from the gasp it had surprised his twin though he wasn't surprised when she growled. "You know as well as I we're immune to each other's respective powers," he said as he glanced over his shoulder.
Alicia's eyes widened as the tall man flipped the hurt girl bakkwards off of his shoulder. What startled her wasn't that he did so seemingly careless of the girl's injuries, but that the girl froze, hovering a few inches off of the floor before slowly levitating and turning to face Jin with a pissed off look on her face.

Hyōmai sneered at her twin, well aware they were immune to each others' powers. She didn't bother waiting for him to turn and kicked him square in the back as hard as possible, sending him flying down the hall before he flung his wings out, arresting the momentum as he flapped them suddenly, twisting as he slid his fingertips on the floor, effectively flipping to slide to a stop near the elevators. She crossed her arms over her chest, looking annoyed. "I'm going to do more than simply elbow him," she muttered.

Cassandra followed Lorcan and wasn't surprised when she saw the young woman elbow Jin in the back. She raised an eyebrow slightly at the display between the two. The girl was obviously beyond angry. She looked at Rosalyn as the woman began to laugh. She had forgotten how beautiful the sound was. Rosalyn laughed as she moved over next to Hyomai. "Men can be such neanderthals sometimes." She made sure not to touch the other woman. She could see the anger. "Now how about you and I get to the room so you can clean up and we can get you some more clothes?"~~~~~~ Constance looked over at Merrick. "And the reason I am able to do so is because of you," she said softly. "You bring light and happiness into my life. Even in the midst of all of this."

Lorcan blinked when the girl kicked Jin in the side and abdomen with a force that made him wince as he flew nearly fifteen feet before recovering. He cocked his head, slightly surprised to see the wings flare out from Jin's shoulder blades.

Merrick shrugged one shoulder. "I'm about as comical as a cactus, and most of the time about as pleasant to be around as one," he muttered.

Kýojin smirked slightly, standing slowly. "Seems your healing factor has gotten stronger, though clearly your temper is close to mine in nature," he said with amusement. He saw his twin grit her teeth; he knew that he tended to get under her skin almost effortlessly and it tended to be comical at times.
Alicia blinked, seeing the angry tension in the girl's body vanish as if it were nothing. "Seems bipolar to me," she thought.

Hyōmai exhaled, shrugging her shoulders as her bare feet touched the cool floor, making her inhale momentarily in surprise. "Fine with me, as long as he doesn't annoy me much more... otherwise you'll need to get a construction crew to fix what ends up destroyed... not to mention that our 'spars' tend to usually get out of hand," she said with a faint smirk that was mildly amused and playful.

"My, we have another one who has a temper on her," Cassandra said softly as she ran her hand lightly over Lorcan's back. "I think her and Merida might get along." She wondered where the other witch elder had disappeared to. In fact both her and Carolyn had been out of sigh for a while. She knew they were still in the building because she could feel their magic. Rosalyn laughed softly as she shook her head. "Don't worry. I am sure Jin will behave now. Won't you, Jin?" She asked as she looked at him with a slightly raised eyebrow. She motioned for Hyomai to follow her down the hall. ~~~~~~ Amelia sighed as she put everything up. It seemed that everyone had found someone to be with. She was glad for all of them. Being alone was not always pleasant. ~~~~~~~ Constance chuckled as she wrapped an arm around his waist. "You think too little of yourself Merrick. You always make me laugh and you are extremely pleasant."
