Kai simply smiled at what Cloud said, though he wasn't sure if the blonde's sight was fully returned or not..it didn't matter that much in the long run. The tables had turned...where the young female scientist had been outnumbered, now it was the intruders that were struggling. Granted if those sounds were any indication there was quite a number of people..or things..scrambling about and banging into doors. To him it mattered little and the silver-haired one seemed able to handle herself..either of them could defend the young scientist.
"How barbaric...but...if I recall, you were abnormally strong for a human. I was told of mako treated humans, but I've yet to actually examine one. Do you want to volunteer Cloud-kun?" he asked as he slowly stepped closer, "If you do..maybe I'll negotiate with the silver beauty to let your little friend go free." making offers never hurt, not to say they worked..or that he'd do it.

~Ezakitamori Miera~ "My goal? Why it's to see how my little pets tweak."  Eza actually smiled a little to Cloud stumbling and falling, for such a famous guy he sure was pathetic when he was half blind since she had pretty much put him in remission in one move. She looked over to Kai who had added himself to the fight, actually being quite amused by him since she liked his slightly crazy personality and the deep conversations they got into at times since they shared the same passion. "Would Cloudy like his toy back or should I keep it away as punishment for ruining my lab coat?" She was actually taunting him now though she kept an eye on the doors that the monsters were going to break threw sooner or later and then all of them were going to be in hell. "Teh not all your family, not that daughter of yours that you seem so disappointed in." She could feel that come from Cloud when she had mentioned her earlier, one of her small abilities of being able to tell what a person felt. She continued to hold his sword with only one hand and he seemed so weak without his precious sword, he should have prepared better and have brought more then one.
"I may seem young, but it'd be best not to think I'm dumb like normal humans."

"This is the fact that you can't deny... Zeke Fair Nothing, is ever as it seems..."  "Stop, stop...! I don't want any of this! I didn't ask to live, this was forced on me damn it!" A bright flash of light appeared near the group, and soon, via teleportation thanks to Cyrano, a scientist as well who obviously didn't want to be in that place himself, Zeke appeared, his diamond eye closed as usual. He drew his sword, pointing it to Cloud's face! He was very direct, it seemed. "You should do as they say. You'll live longer." He suggested, his tone emotionless as usual, his eyes showed little emotion as well.
"You should let go of my fiancee, you'll live longer." Came a sudden voice from behind the silver haired one there, who was holding Phoenix. And suddenly she would feel her throat begin to close up, and she would start to find it hard to breathe, and eventually if she didn't let her go, she wouldn't be able to breathe at all and would suffocate! And if that wasn't enough, WingBlades were forming around her, all pointing to the silver haired one there."Your choice, you can let her go, or die and then let her go." Yeah, this was ShinRa's Number One on the Most Wanted list, without a worry in the world of being here. That was Nero. "I can't take this, it's... Too much... Make this stop..."

   - Cloud Strife -  "One big happy family.."  
Cloud cringed as he attempted to rub his right eye first, just wanting to clear up his vision better. With no water being able to be used to cleanse them, they wouldn't heal for some time. The rubbing of his eye only made the pain return though, so again he was failing horribly in front of his enemy's. "One day..when you lose a comrade to mind control, I will be sure to find a way to make them examine you for once. I can guarantee you it would not be pleasant. " Cloud then turned to Eza, ignoring her words. They really didn't seem to understand just what pepper spray could do to a person. It was the best tool to stop anyone from attacking. It wasn't because he was just weak. Then, another voice came to the scene. Could they be anymore surrounded!? He didn't move away from the weapon though, instead stood his ground with nothing to really defend himself but with his fists.
And again,yet Another person showed up. Only thankfully, it wasn't another enemy. It was a one man army in a young teen form! But it didn't seem like he was here to help him...
The silver haired women smirked as her eyes rested on the young god. At first the chains remained around Phoenix, it didn't seem she was about to let go until her air was starting to get cut off. Suddenly, the chains unraveled from the Phoenix, only to shoot forward for Nero!! If she could just get them around him, maybe, just maybe she could drain his powers for her own self!

What Cloud said actually made Kai stop in his tracks...and...tremble? No..shake..with silent giggles that didn't take much longer to change, growing into purely amused laughter. The arrival of another apparent ally..and even another foe didn't go unnoticed, but that was too good. "You really think some human could keep me down? Even if your friends managed, I wouldn't really mind as long as I could see the results too.."
Kai stepped closer to Eza, the silver-haired woman was...occupied so he'd guard the young human if fighting stated. Still..he couldn't just leave the phoenix free that was once held... Kai lifted a hand to send rays of light to snare the fiery bird again, also bringing up a shield around himself and Eza. "So...Cloud-kun...will you give in willingly..or do I or my friend with the sword need to knock you out?" he asked in a casual tone.

"So long as I live, I will always protect you, Phoenix." Nero smirked slightly as the chains seemed to be coming towards him, did he move? No, did he knock the chains away with telekinisis or his WingBlades? No, he just stood there! Letting the chains wrap around him, but... She might notice something; instead of gaining his power, she would notice her own powers being taken away and absorbed into Nero! "Oh no, you've got me!" He said in an obviously sarcastic and taunting voice. "Is it working? It feels like something's wrong, could you have maybe... I dunno, overestimated yourself?" He smirked at that, oh how embarrassing that must have seemed, total failure. "How strange, I'm not feeling any weaker, you must be showing mercy huh? Oh how kind of you." He just kept on taunting! "You are my light... You give me the... Strength... To control it..."

"I could show you, had you're friend there not used cheap tricks. But that is a ShinRa thing to do, isn't it. " He muttered something quietly under his breath, "I can tell you a few who would have no trouble taking you down. Maybe one day you can meet Sephiroths blade. " Now that was something he wouldn't mind seeing. "That can be my own 'experiment'. How will you stand to him? " Of course, he didn't see this happening. It wasn't like he and Sephiroth were on happy terms or best friends! Cloud stepped forward, his body staggering slightly as he did. "Let her go..You really think you will get away with this? " Especially being that Nero was....right there! It could turn very bad on Kai.
Poor Xenia did not see that one coming! For one deadly and feared women, she did make one grave mistake. Feeling her powers and energy start to leave her as her own power was used against her, she quickly unraveled the chains to stop anymore loss of power and energy! "That doesn't surprise me...from one such as you. Though, this is also very good. The more powers you display for us, the better chances we have of finding out -just- how to stop you. Those powers you possess, boy, They will be ours. "
Meanwhile Phoenix's form shifted back to human the moment she was free of the chains seconds earlier, and as she was about to grab her weapon, some strange light seemed to flow around her, which stopped her from doing anything else while she seemed to freeze up in whatever hold was placed on her.

"So long as I live, I will always protect you, Phoenix." Nero chuckled a bit. "Oh how nice of you to let me go, I was practically doomed!" He said, obvious sarcasm and taunt in his voice. "You should've figured out by now, I have no blind spots, you don't have a chance of beating me, ever. None of you do." He said, glancing at Kai, shaking his head a bit. He flicked his wrist, and suddenly a shockwave sent a wave of energy towards him, intending on destroying his barrier. Though he didn't put very much effort into the energy since he wasn't very threatened right now. He popped his neck, raising his arm towards Phoenix, and tapping into his black power to use a dispel move on her, in an attempt to free her from that little light ensnare technique. If his plan failed, well, he'd get really pissed and go to really attack Kai. And that wasn't a good thing for him in most likely hood.
Suddenly, one of the doors being banged on would get a foot to it, knocking it down forcefully, as a man clad in heavy armor, even wearing a helmat to conceal his face wielded a broadsword, his eyes on Kai there. Seeings as he was a scientist, well, he had to die obviously! Though no expression could be seen through his helmat, the man was beyond pissed. After dying in cause to experimentation, well, now he had another chance it seemed. "Die you ShinRa b*****d!" He yelled, dashing towards the scientist Kai and bringing his blade up, growling as he swung it down hard on his barrier, if nothing else it should somewhat interrupt his concentration. Probably. If not the man would just keep attacking and attacking until he had some sort of progress! "You are my light... You give me the... Strength... To control it..."

Kai continued to grin at Cloud, "I'll gladly fight any of your friends...call forth your 'Sephiroth' so we may fight." he stated. He did figure that Cloud might know some that could face him, but he doubted they were entirely human..Cloud himself was a modified human after all.
His attention was diverted to the other blonde as his shockwave hit his barrier, it was a cute attempt....but not strong enough to make it break. As for the strange armored human, he ignored him..after all, his faithful pet just arrived as well.
The maroon neko appeared not too far from Kai, hissing at the armored one, "Stay away from Cheshire's master!" He quickly lunged and aimed it's oversized paw/hands to claw at the weak spots in the armor. It's main intention was to keel the armored one away from Kai.
Kai moved away from Cheshire and the armored man, keeping a barrier around Eza, but not himself. Feeling the blonde caped one try to free the phoenix-girl made him smirk, "Is she by chance..your lover?" he asked, strengthening the Light snare around her and adding tendrils to loosely wrap around her throat threatening to strangle her....though they had another purpose that he wouldn't reveal just yet.

"So long as I live, I will always protect you, Phoenix." Nero's features dropped into a rare... Displeased. How annoying. Seemed he wasn't as weak as the fools he usually fought, In most cases he'd just start to play with him a little, have some fun, but the way he threatened Phoenix, well that just pissed him off frankly. "Haha, you're going to regret that." He said, somewhat amusedly, as he closed his eyes for a moment, concentrating for a mere moment, before his eyes opened again, wider now. And one could see his eyes now had a different design to them, a strange one at that. "Don't be so cocky." His voice echoed as Kai would suddenly feel something dig into his mind - not physically - no menally, and start to tear through it, a little trick Nero liked using with this enhancement here. His mind would start to feel like it was being shattered and corrupted in many ways, and it'd likely take most of his concentration to stop himself from getting too damaged by it. Nero then used his telekinisis to try to just force the tendrils away from Phoenix and force the snare to cease completely. And if Kai was weakened by Nero's little trick, it likely wouldn't be too difficult to do!
"What in the hell are you?!" The armored one grunted, quickly jumping to the side when it lunged at him, raising his broadsword quickly and attempting to bring it down hard on the thing's back, to try to stop it quickly! Though if it didn't, this might get interesting. His armor wasn't exactly made for dodging, but he would have to do his best at that or take his chances just blocking. "You are my light... You give me the... Strength... To control it..."

So his guess was right it seemed with how Nero reacted, half smiling at his two comments, "There's few things I regret..that won't be one of them." It wasn't long before he felt the attack on his mind, honestly not expecting that from creatures of this world, quickly reminding himself that there were many from other worlds as well. Unfortunately for Nero, the surprise and ease of entering Kai's mind didn't last, mental shields formed and started to try and break his attack. "Sorry, you're the first to attack this way here....but...many have failed at home." he said, his words slightly slowed as he concentrated, on three things....shielding his mind..keping hols hold on Phoenix and...mentally extending a link to her in a way so the pain Nero caused him would transfer to her. It wouldn't actually damage her, but it'd feel like it.
Just before the broadsword would hit, the neko simply vanished...only to appear again, continuing his momentum and landing on the sword, looking at the helmet of the armored man. "Cheshire is....Cheshire. Master's puppet." he answered in a dull tone before jumping and twisting in the air, aiming to kick at the helmet. The neko didn't really have offensive skills, just his claws, speed and teleporting ability.

Phoenix's inability to even move kept her from being able to even try to get the tendrils around her neck off, at least for the moment they weren't entirely tight enough to choke her.The only noticeable thing from her was the faint winching. Her eye's closed tightly then, as she tried to bare through the pain in her own mind.In the current state she was in, she didn't even know that this was Nero's power caused by Kai's little link of sorts so she would feel what he went through. In this process, her flame form seemed to be fading out as her regular 'normal' appearance began to take place once more, no more flickering fire or crimson red hair.This was only due to the disturbances in her mind that it had taken away that form. But not forever of course.
Meanwhile, Cloud was starting to move from behind Kai, in attempt to get to Eza and retrieve his weapon.If Nero was having trouble with him, then he needed to to do -something-, even if he wasn't going to be much help right now.

Welcome to the quiet... ...Before the storm hit. All this time Ferif was in the corner of the room, hiden in the shadow and amused to watch everyone. With all those sudden turn of the table, it was better than a Tv show! But the male knew he should interfere and help ShinRa's side. Probably only those scientists could free him from the chains who imprisonned him in this building. Ferif placed his hand over the wall he have been laying on all this time. From the palm of his hand, a thin ice started to spread on the wall alike a virus, a disease. It continued its way to cover every cell's door with a thick layer of ice to contain the creatures inside them. The being then stepped out of the shadow to reveal himself. "Should I include myself in the fight?" He asked to no one.   There's a method in the madness.

Eza watched as many events unfold but still keeping her focus a bit of everywhere, on Phoenix and Nero, on Cloud a little, and on the doors in case any monsters leaked out. Which apparently one had gotten threw and now the armored man was fighting Kai's pet, Cheshire. So much fighting over one room, it was much easier when it was just herself and Cloud but now there were many and the room was getting crowded with the room everyone would need to fight. That's when she noticed Cloud trying to sneak around Kai to get to her, it made her smirk in some amusement at how stubborn he was just to get his toy back. She moved around Kai and actually moving to Cloud. "I'll deal with the swordsmen." She said to Kai since he seemed busy enough with the blond in the cloak. She went up to Cloud and tossed the sword in her hand at him before getting into a fighting stance, which was similar to a boxers. "You can have your silly toy back, I want to see you back up those words."
