[Hauntedheart ignored the cats that passed by and gave encouraging meows to the kitting queen; she had to direct all her attention to Leopardstorm, for the sake of her kits. As the first slid out, Hauntedheart gently lifted the newborn away from Purekit and set it down at Honeypaw's paws. Tossing a cold side-glance at the golden tom, she hissed.]
"Lick its fur in the wrong direction to stimulate its blood flow and warm it up. Now, Honeypaw."
[The apprentice obeyed, bending down and beginning to gingerly lick the slime and blood from the little kit's thin pelt. Hauntedheart was already working to reduce Leopardstorm's bleeding as another contraction seized her body, shooting pain rippling through the queen's golden-spotted pelt.]
"Good, Leopardstorm. The first kit is looking beautiful, but here comes another one. Get ready to push, and...Push, Leopardstorm."
[The medicine cat instructed, her gray eyes looking over the queen for any signs of trouble as the contraction intensified. The kit Honeypaw was licking began to squirm and mewl pitifully, its eyes still shut and tiny tail lashing about. Hauntedheart turned to Honeypaw, eyes smoldering.]
"Get the kit to Leopardstorm so she can feed it."
[As if not hearing the barely concealed hatred in his mentor's voice, Honeypaw gingerly picked up the crying scrap of fur and brought it over to Leopardstorm's belly. It mewled louder as it was set down, though quickly hushed as it found the source of milk and began kneading his mother's belly to make it flow. Honeypaw looked warmly at the golden-spotter queen, who was biting a stick in utter pain, and softly mewed,]
"Your first-born is a tom. Congratulations, Leopardstorm."
[He purred, blinking happily. Suddenly, he noticed Purekit still standing and watching the kitting process. This was no place for a kit that young! Honeypaw stretched his neck to pick up Purekit by her scruff, then place her by Leopardstorm's head.]
"Purekit, I don't think that this is the best place for a kit your age to be."
[He advised the kit, ears flattened in concern. Hauntedheart was still anxiously looking over the delivery of the second kit. She's have to speak to that golden idiot about his pathetic behavior later. As for now, everything had to be about Leopardstorm and her kits; nothing would distract the medicine cat from this beautiful event.]

[Eaglesoar blurted the last part out without thinking, and quickly shut his mouth with an audible click.]
What am I talking about, kits? That was a, uh, very awkward thing to say...
[He mentally slapped himself for having blurted out something that he shouldn't have, and ran a paw over his head as though he was grooming, but only to hide his face from Tigerfang. The prisoner had already fallen asleep, so he would not be much of a bother.]
"Go take a break, maybe go for a hunt or something relaxing, I don't know. And it seems like Leopardstorm's kits have come, so you can go take a look." --------------------------------------------------x x x "xxsoaring through the sky

[Foxfur frowned ever so slightly, then fakely perked back up]
"Why, of course! What a great idea! Blackflame, would you mind taking over from whoever's guarding the camp? We'll be back soon"
[Foxfur smiled at her, and turned to Shatteredfang, disgusted]
"Well, c'mon Darling, we really must be going, but I have to check on Leopardstorm first!"
((@Anachrom, can we do this when I get back tomorrow night? Cuz I'm going to my cabin, and no Internet there sad ))

Duskkit When day turns to dusk...no one's safe anymore... <========================================> [Duskkit picked himself off the ground with a playful look in his pale yellow eyes.] "I'm going to get you!" Duskkit sqeaked. [Duskkit bounded after Divinekit, chasing her around the
nursery, watching her playfully paw at him.] [Duskkit found a good sized moss ball and threw it over to Divinekit.] <========================================>

[Tigerfang's face went blank for a moment, blinking once or twice trying to comprehend what Eaglesoar had just said. Once she did, her legs began to shake violently, so much so that she had to lie down in order to hide it.]
"K-K-Kits?" she managed to choke out, her face growing hotter and hotter by the second. "E-E-Er...I-I wouldn't be a very good..."
[Her voice trailed off as she struggled to finish her sentence with one little, but painful word.]
"...m-m-mother..."

Her tail curling around her paws and her face a blank exspression, as she breathed in the sweet familiar scents of her friends, her family. And the marsh. I really can't leave, it'll be to diffrent. [Shatteredfang gazed softly at Foxfur, a grin spreading across her face. She turned to Blackflame when she protested.] "Don't worry," she purred softly. "We'll find her for you. In the mean time, you could go hunting with Birchshadow, or someone," she meowed, gesturing over to the warriors den. Last she had seen, Birchshadow was still asleep.
Shatteredfang wiggled her nose a few times as a butterfly flew past her. She sneezed, looking back at Blackflame. Honestly, she didn't want the she-cat going with her and Foxfur. If her and that mousebrained cat did start fighting, she didn't want anyone else to have to put up with their bickering. Either way, she didn't want anyone in the Clan to wittness their opposition with each other.]

"Focus Honeypaw!"
[The medicine cat then turned her attention back to the queen and her kits. She gave Leoparstorm's first kit a gentle nudge and a quick lick, just to make sure Honeypaw did as she had told him to do. The kit moved and made a low sound and she nodded before turning her attention back to Leopardstorm.]

Shaking my head, I added, "Besides, do you see any other pregnant cats around here? I don't think I could wait for another kitting!"
[Impatiently, I wriggled around the medecine cat apprentice and ran back over to my previous spot, where I had the best view.
Pfft, stupid Honeypaw...thinks he's all haughty as an apprentice...I'll be an apprentice soon anyway! I thought cheerfully.]

A lot of speed events are really fun, but my horse does. Not. Go. Fast. xD She's laaaaazy. But only at times. <3 Oh, and thanks guys for helping out. The competition went so well! : D Annnnd, there be two more she-kits. The tom be a dark gray, and one of the she-kits be a golden tabby and on a silver bengal. ^^ ))
[Leopardstorm turned her head to look lvingly at her tomkit. He looked strong, despite the mewlings. She licked it gently, then took the stick back into her jaws. She bit down hard as another kit slid out (the silver bengal). She scrunched her eyes closed, then let out a sigh. She felt another contraction ripple her body, then looked back and caught sight of Purekit scuttling backwards. Her eyes softened, but then she scrunched them closed again as another contraction rippled her flank.] ________________________________________
