Well, it's better than my parents who try hard to grasp the concept, but never the less surmise their opinion with a very simple, "That's a cartoon for little kids. What is a nineteen yearold girl doing watching it?"
Seto: Alright, who are you and what have you done with the real Luna? You actually sound calm and level headed.
Ya, how about that? I took some lessons from Seifer. He's prettyful.

I agree completely on the Seifer comment. And the rest of that post, but the Seifer part stood out to me.

Seifer's nice like that. Unless he's in the middle of battle with poor enemies, like the Glabadian soldiers in Dollet. That was fun to watch though, and he was pretty all the while, even if he wasn't calm. He's like Seto in a lot of ways. Except I think he might be blond...

My mother is the same way, "You're too old for cartoons, Christina." And then I have to spend a few minutes lecturing her on how anime and American cartoons are completely different things.

I don't bother explaining. I let her talk until she's done, without listening to a word.

I choose to lecture her. I have learned to tune her out over the years. She likes to rant.

Same with my mother. And she's a hypocrite. *sighs* It's not worth it to try anymore. I end up getting more frustrated with her and have to go and attack the Chatterbox for signature reporting to feel better.

gonk I'de really wish my mom didnt try so hard to understand it. Once, she watched a whole episode with me-it was the one where Odion was dueling Joey, and Marilk was still Namu, Then, off that one episode, she wrote a paper about the WHOLE season. (She was taking classes to become a bilingle teacher) To sum up the paper, this is what it said.
Japan only has white people in anime, in yugioh, odion was a slave because of his color, and the only good thing about is was the leason of friendship, and sportsmanship. gonk THATS NOT WHAT IT'S ABOUT MOM!!
Then she starts to mimic pegusas to annoy me- "Clean your room, yugi-boy." and stuff like that. gonk SOMEONE SAVE ME! xp

There's a scientific term for judging a whole by a part, I can't remember it. But it's a bad thing, very bad.
My mom's bilingual. blaugh She's trying to get a certificate so she can talk to Japanese patients though. [[Hopsitals are full of idiots. Don't trust them.]]
