((HOMG!!! VERSI AND VAMP!!!!!!!!! WHERE IN GANDHI'S NAME HAVE YOU BEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *Glomps both and ties them to chairs so they can't go anywhere* Mine! Versi... if you read this before your GM, you could make my character head butt the human fighting the vampire in the tavern then the vampire and my character can go where ever you are going to make everyone else go and the human can chase after (what? I'm lazy and don't want to look for names XD). Just an idea. Oh, and Vamp, don't worry about it. School is more important then this thread. My priorities are as such, at the moment, school, football, friends, and then Gaia. School hasn't even started yet and I'm already stressing... O.O;; I got no pre-AP work done today... I don't even know what I did today. Make sure you get your work done to the best of your ability before you worry about anything else... O.K.? Now... I want to bake cookies... hm... I shall make peanut butter chocolate chip for the first day of school... so I'll have to make my mom get all the ingredients before the 4th. YAY!!!!! Baking! ^-^))

[[BTW my GM post is going to reflect the day- and just to let you know the time.. it's 3:59 PM- in the city of Lemvyrn. Plus, I'm working on fixing up someone's battle system to fit our role-play, so we'll use that when we're ready. Just a reminder- Write more than one paragraph, and check for spelling errors. Don't worry I'm not accelerating the day, just watch and read and then post.]]
Journal of the Deceased..
Efrehm 31, 1451
Yesterday was horrible. It would have to be the worst day in my entire life, and it was only the start of it.
It started out like any other day, murder here, theft there, another hanging. Normal. During Noon time, the guard had called city wide announcement of curfew times, and that anyone found outside during such times would be jailed- or killed. Luckily they wouldn't have many people to look out for after today.
At about four in the afternoon, a darkness spread over the city, imagine a storm cloud, but enshrouding the city in total darkness. Of course there were screams before anything major happened, what would you have done if you couldn't have seen a damn thing in front of you. Too bad this wasn't the only thing to happen.
Soon a deafening screech was heard throughout all the town, my god was it horrible. I was lucky to be in a cellar, grabbing some wine for the tavern patrons upstairs, it wasn't nearly as bad for me as it had been for them. Though, it didn't stop there. Soon a blinding flash was seen from atop the "Pure", the Upper District, with the nobles. The darkness retreated to hide from the light, and you could almost see the streets without needing a lantern, but there were so many people rushing to the "Pure" that you didn't need one to know where to run.
Everyone, was running to the Upper District for safety, and I mean everyone. The streets were so crowded that I was sure I heard someone scream under my heel when I ran towards the gates. It was frightening, you never knew if there was something in the way that was going to cause you to trip and get trampled. Getting inside the gates wasn't too much of a problem, it was surviving the trip to. Hideous, giant, winged beasts ripped us from the streets- flying up to higher ground to feast on their meal, and they never stopped eating.
When inside the Gate the light repelled many of the monstrosities that had plagued us before, but now those left alive were facing the Guard's problems. Apparently the darkness had also attracted many surrounding vampires, turns out there were about fifty of them living in the surrounding forest. Murderous bastards. More and more of the civilians were dying around me, the guard had been locked up in their towers and had been holding the vampires off on their own turf, and the militia was trying as best it could to protect the citizens, who were running around like chickens with their heads cut off.
A few of us had armed ourselves with the dead's possessions, and we fought back. A militia fighter, named Jace, had lead a group of us into a local bathhouse, where a a noble was hiding out with her guard. Picking them up as we went along, we made a push for the Governor's house, and were soon met with a strange sight. A giant snake, at least 12 feet tall, was standing- if you could call it that- and fighting a vampire with amazing lights we had never seen before. Striking the vampire down and searing his flesh, it turned to us, just waiting for us to make a move, when another shriek went out and it leaped into the air and disappeared! I must've imagined it, but the others saw it too. Was it on our side? I had no time to reflect as Jace, a farmer, and a local blacksmith broke down the door with a makeshift battering ram.
We crossed into the foyer, and found the building to fall apart, burning on it's second level. A pale figure had left the staircase carrying someone or something in his arms, spotting us he hesitated, like he was resisting something. He must've won because as soon as he came he left, another shriek could be heard as soon as he fell out of sight.
A young girl, quite homely if I do say so myself, pulled the burn victim from the rubble, though unable to save her from the severe third-degree burns, she did learn from the apparent servant that there was an underground passage to a safe chamber under the rug. We quickly set up on the far side of the rug and rolled it as quickly as we could, a smug "kid" standing watch by a broken pane of glass. As soon as the rug was rolled back far enough it did indeed reveal a trapdoor. Unable to open the barred chamber, Jace unsheathed his sword and broke through it quickly, revealing a ladder to some darkened area below.
We took a chance and decided to go in, Jace first, the noble and her body guard next, then the servant girl, the farmer, the blacksmith, myself and then the "kid". He was strange, every time I looked back to check on him he seemed to be talking to someone, but he always spotted me and I was forced to turn my attention elsewhere. As he rolled the rug into position so that it would fall back normally, I definitely heard him answer someone, then he came down and released the rug- just as a pillar fell on top of the opening.
As soon as we hit the bottom rung, we made the decision to light a lantern and rest there for the night.. Lord help us.

[[Ooh.. That's kinda hot iNob. wink xD. Anyways- time to make another GM Post! This time, this one's in current time.]]
The Guard stared at the large clock. Tick Tock Tick Tock Tick Tock.. "God, the damn thing's broken."
"You just say that because you have nothing else to do this shift." Retorted another guardsmen. "One day, something's going to happen and you're going to die. How's that for exciting?"
"Not very blunt are you, old a**?"
"I don't see the point."
"True." The guard pulled out a knife from his belt and twirled it on the table. "Every day, in and out. The only interesting thing happening are the riots in the morning when the peasants try and get into the 'Pure'." He sighed and looked up at the clock as it struck four o' clock. "Finally.." He muttered under his breath. He replaced his dagger and stood up, as a low rumble fell throughout the city.
"Eh?"
"Nothing, these kinds o' things happen."
"Not that, that." The older guard stated, pointing outside towards the ceiling window. "A storm?"
"Sure as hell don't look like a cloud. Lemme go upstairs, maybe I can get a better look outside."
"Do whatever you want."
"I will." With that the guard left the older man in the room and opened a door to the deck outside. He had barely gotten outside when he spotted several black dots in the sky, just ahead of the fake cloud. "Birds?" As if to echo him, a squawk called from behind him, mocking him in a high-pitched call. "What the?" he trailed off, and with a screech he was heaved high into the air and dropped outside the very same building...
"I told him..."

Just as Nathan was leaving the alley he looked up and over. Something was coming. The black ooze was quickly coming upon them. People were beginning to take notice of it and the panic began. Quickly Nathaniell raced to it, while others ran from it. As he was going along, snaking his way through the crowd, the darkness had just splashed over the city walls. Several seconds later, as the darkness eroded away even more of the city, he was picked up and flung onto a shoulder.
“Kid, thine feet must have been screwed on backwards because thou are moving the wrong way!” the man called roughly through the shrieks saturating the people.
“Drop me! ALACK!!! Leave me be!” Nathan called in rage. Using his feet and fists he attacked the man, punching the man’s back and kicking whatever could be kicked. Eventually the man found Nathaniell a lost cause and allowed him to leave, but first with several curses.
Soon the darkness was upon everything, but then the dirty ‘Pures’ had to make it go. Nathan hollered and rushed to the city, stopping to switch his garments so they would allow him into the upper district. As soon as he left the alley into the open street he was attacked. His body was sent soaring into the air and then crashing onto the pavement. Blood oozed down his face, but because of his litheness no bones were broken.
He laid there for several heartbeats before getting up again and soaring to the Upper District. Brain throbbing and breath coming in short ragged series, he still made fairly good time. When he reached the Upper District it took some persuading for them to admit him, but it is fairly hard to mistake his ghostly skin and almost as equally pale hair.
As soon as he was through he headed straight for ‘the house’ (the one he lived in).

AS he stared the man down, the room began to darken as well as the windows. It was as if a storm had begun to cover the skies.
'but if thats the case then why is it getting dark in here? THe fires are all on...' There was little time for him to think on it more as the darkness kept growing. His focus was still on the supposed 'god' but still he was worried about this.
chancing a glance out of a window he saw it. A wall of black, like ink washing over a page, was covering the city and a wave of panick lead in front of it.
Soon after screams could be heard from the streets, the city was in a frenzied state of panick. Nothing seemed right, it was still only three or four in the afternoon. No storm could make the sun go out like this. And what was that cloud of black.
While he thought on this the wall was moving towards the Tavern. The patrons were getting on edge, but weren't at panick just about yet. Arthur planned to keep it that way.
"I shall deal with you another day sir," He said glaring at the b*****d across the table from him. Turning around and standing on a table he tried to calm the croud. "Please stay calm people, the last thing we need is to start running around like chickens with no heads. We shall all stay here for the time being, I'm sure this will pass shortly and we can all go home. Untill then we should stay together and protect each other here. I'm sure there are brigands and other types..."He glanced back at the man, "That are trying to take advantage of this. I'm sure the guards are doing all they can to try and make this go away."
Even with his speech he could still see the fear in some of their eyes. He just hoped none of them...
One man who had been shuddering in the corner heard another scream and ran out of the building doing the same. This was the breaking point, everyone began panicking and running out of the building.
Arthur jumped towards the bar and pulled the girl who worked there behind it with him to prevent them from getting trampled. "Well isn't this an interesting day?" He asked almost having to yell.

Upon hearing the noise downstairs, Gehrim had gotten up and dressed. He looked outside, seeing the darkness creep over the city. "Holy blast in the bag!" He then grabbed his bag of working gear. practically running, he appeared right when everyone started running, he looked towards the bar and saw his friend Arthur go behind it.
Using his brawn he faought his way to the bar and entered behind it. practically yelling over the noise, he spoke. "What in the name of the gods is going on?! There's this black stuff entering the city!"

"I don't know!" He replied to Gehrim, "It seems everyone is running scared of this thing! It seems like some sort of vile sorcery! but who really believes in fairy tales right?" He smiled and even laughed a bit, but was drowned out by the comossion.
"Everyone seems to be headed in the same direction, into the town. Whats up there anyway?" He chanced a look overtop of the bar, he saw the bars owner standing there fighting off a...what he guessed was a Vampire. He was knocked down behind an overturned table and the Vampire jumped on him, hiding both from view. Screams could be heard from the man, but Arthurs body wouldn't move. He was horrified.
The Vampires head appeared from behind the table and he bagan to look around, the crowd had filtered out considerably now that the vampire had made himself known.
Gulping his fear down he finally managed to come around out of his daze. "We need to move, now!!" The Vampire smiled and stood up. "I mean right now!!" He got up grabbing the womans hand and began to run for the door, hopin Gehrim would follow.

Gehrim nodded and followed, he took out his ornamental hammer, looked at the beast as he tried to grab the woman. He swung with all his might at it, and managed to hit it on the head. Luckily it fell down, and Gehrim followed. He looked down at his hammer, smeared with blood.
That was the first time Gehrim had hit anyone with his hammer. Sure he had been in bar fights, but using a weapon was an entirely different matter. He gulped and whipped the blood off from his hammer and onto his cloths. He thought of the two boys, and prayed to his god for their safety and life...

Gerard walked out of the bathhouse feeling refreshed. His body was clean and almost glowing with healthy radiance. He opened his eyes and looked twards the date. The girl, his name escaped him for the moment, was no where to be seen. He looked around, the entire upper district was surrounded by a black ring of cloud!
He ran to the gates, the guards pushed him back. "Civilian, get back!" the men yelled. "Its too dangerous for the likes of you!" they told Gerard. "I must get through! I can help! I know how to fight!" Gerard said, drawing his dagger. "We..." The guard said, looking back through at the enemies surrounding the gates. "We can use all the help we can get. I'll let you through, but don't blame us if you die out there." He said as the gate swung open momentarily. Gerard rushed trough and barely made it before the gate slammed closed behind him. A lantern was tossed at him, already lit. "You'll need it." The guard said, looking at Gerard like he was a fool.
Gerard ran out into the darkness, only the feeble light of his lantern guiding him. People saw him, some crazed with fear. One attacked him, but was too strong to be just a "human". This man was obviously a vampire. Gerard kicked the being in the stomach, stunning it slightly. He ran, hoping to find a shelter that would never exist.
He ducked into an alley, hiding under a wet tattered sheet. He turned off his lantern, hoping the darkness would provide for him a cover. He had had his dagger in his hand, but he knew that it would do no good. He layed there on the ground, completely still with the exception of his chest moving from his breath. He would lie there until help arrived or he was forced to fight. Maybe staying in the upper district was a better idea than he had originally thought...

"This way!" Arthur was starting to get tired, he though they had been running in circles. As the darkness prevented any proper navigation it blotted out the sun and kept you from seeing more than two feet in front of your face.
The mob got a bit thicker and began running in different directions which could mean only one thing, something else was running amuck in the crowd. Spotting an ally only by sheer luck he turned in to it, still holding the girls hand to make sure she wasn't lost.
He grabbed Gehrim as he ran by, the mans figure unmistakeable even in the dark. "Keep quiet, maybe whatever's out there we keep on its way." He scanned the ally for a sheet or something to hide under.
Spotting one he quickly walked over to it. It seemed to be big enough to cover them all. "Over here!" He whispered, compared to the noise outside that was.
He pulled off the sheet and jumped at the man lying under it, readying for an assault from the person though he was probably just hiding. He was wearing noble like clothes, though not quite as regal. He was holding a dagger to himself and looked almost scared half to death.

Magnus spent the last few days getting used to this place. After entering not too long ago he still felt slightly confused at the customs around here. With the theft and hangings and such, but that was not the only thing. It was the people, for some reason they seemed more on edge. PErhaps because of the vampires and other strange things that're surrounding this place. Magnus's former home had slight knowledge of the new dangers but it was never in his face.
Simply writing in his book, and sitting in a chair, about his recent discoveries, mainly consisting of over hearing people's chatter, Magnus was up rather early. Lacking a place to stay though he didn't get much sleep, or well he didn't want to risk falling too deep into sleep.
Wasn't too long till the darkness approached. Ha, what a strange thing. Magnus rose from his seat. He couldn't see a damn thing.. But no worries this place he sat was where he always came for the last couple days to sit and think. So he knew his way around mostly by memory. He had moved a couple of feet before reaching a wall. There he stood an listend. Screams, yeah he would suspect to hear such things. But anything abnormal.. Yes, covering his ears Magnus attempted to shield his ear drums from the screech.
Not too long afterwards Magnus found himself shielding his eyes from the blinding light. Once it died down he looked to see everything slightly visible, thanks to the light from the upper district. Placing his book within his bag he made a run for it toward the upper district. Closest to the light. But he found the flowing number of people to be rather hard to push through and even worse creatures were taking advantage of this. So pushing his way to the far end of the crowd he managed to pull out and enter an abandoned home. A sort of weapon would be nice to find, so he searched. IN his mind he was pretty safe, attention was directed to the idiots running around the town. But it wouldn't stay that way forever.

Gerard scrambled backwards, fumbling all overhimself as this man pulled the sheet from him. He dropped his dagger as he scrambled around in the darkness. He cut his hand on a sharp, unseen object. He gasped and grabbed his injured hand. Blood was splattered all over the ground, the cut was deep.
He stood up and looked at the man, who's face he couldn't make out. He bent over and held his hand in front of him, ripping a pice of cloth from his nice new clothes and wrapping the wound up. He grabbed at the object and found it was his own dagger! Looking at the man with fear, he asked, "What do you want from me? Please, don't hurt me." Gerard pleaded, his eyes wide with fear. He began to cry out of fear and worry. Was this the vampire from before? Or was it a new foe, come to kill him or take him prisoner to torture him? If he died now, who would save the girl? He could only plead for his life, his power was nothing.
