He breathed in the night's air, he was quite happy with himself really. He'll dare them to die on him, prove to him how weak they really are. He'll break them and put them back together. He'd seen men pushed to the limits of their endurance and sanity. He was one of them.
Pix would make fighters out of this group.
It was what he was being paid for after all.

Andrea blinked as Evacy ran off, not even noticing Pix had left already. No alcohol? she thought, disappointed. She gave a quiet sigh and headed for the door while running her slender fingers through her hair. Oh well..maybe they'll have some at the city.. she thought as she stretched in the night's cool air.

Kai awoke and quickly sat up. He didn't even realize he had fallen asleep, that was a first for him. He rubbed his eyes and looked out the window. The sun was just now rising. He went outside and washed his face in the river that ran through the center of the town, just outside the building. Looking over his shoulder, he could see Lucas sitting in the chair with his head on the table, sleeping. He smiled. Lucas wasn't so bad, he just didn't really think things through as much as others. Kai had already forgiven him in his mind for knocking him out.
He watched the sun rise, sitting with his bare feet in the river. It was quite soothing. He enjoyed this aspect of their adventure so much- the above world could be so beautiful. And yet, so ugly. He looked at the destroyed buildings around him. Aside from the inn they slept in, there were only three other buildings with roofs intact as far as he could see. Whatever these creatures were, Kai could tell they had considerable strength. This town had no chance.

Though he'd been up for a few hours already, he just now decided to get himself up. He'd fallen asleep around the back of the old Inn and now made his way to the river near by spotting Kai he placed himself next to the younger man, "Oi boy, your name's Kai right?" He didn't even turn to look at Kai.

Kiro had fallen asleep in a corner on the bottom floor he woke to the sound Kai getting up a few moments later he had gotten up himself and stepped outside shielding his eyes from the suns intensity, though it seemed a bit easer then it was yesterday.

He went to the river figuring he could use a quick wash. He kneeled down by the river and splashed water on his face, the cold water feeling like a much needed wake-up call. He placed his hands back in the water when he noticed a thin silver live in his peripheral. Hm...The hell is that he turned to look at it seeing a small fish alone trying to fight the current of the water. He shuffled over to it slowly as not to scare it off. he placed his hands in the water trying to grab it but with every attempted it would quickly just dart out of the way, he grew more frustrated with each failure that he gave up letting his fingers soak in the water letting the current bob them up and down. only a few minutes later he felt something nibble on the tips of his fingers, he pulled them back and saw it was only the fish, a devilish smile across his face as he placed his finger back in just like before, but this time when the fish bite him he quickly grabbed it's lower lip and yanked it up, it was to slipper to hold on to but he managed to get it out of the water long enough for his other hand to grab it by it's tail, he swung it around and smacked it on the ground killing it instantly he held it up with pride. "I caught myself breakfast haha!" he shouted loudly he pulled it closer to his face and examined it trying to figure out what it even was "wait...can i even eat this thing?" he had just realized he knew nothing about it; he tends to act before he thinks.
