Lore coughed nervously before looking at Elnara, "Do you want this to be explained now?"
Since he wasn't sure when she would want this to be explained to her children, or how much for that matter.

Elnara smiled softly at Lore. "Brief explanation's the only way he's going to stop asking," she murmured to him. "But if you prefer, I can talk with him about it later."
To be honest, it was something elves always told their children about. After all, it was a simple basic part of life. Her only discomfort about the topic came from her rape, but she was well on her way to getting over that completely. Of course, Celebor didn't need to know the details quite yet, he was still a child after all - but the basics, yes, she would have no trouble telling him.

"Well...." Lore murmured looking back at Celebor, trying to figure out what should be told and what can wait for later.
Actually when he thought about it, it was pretty simple, since Celebor had never seen a natural birth as it were.
"A natural baby happens when a.... woman becomes pregant with a baby, meaning her stomach becomes bigger slowly because the baby is growing inside of her. Then when the baby is born, it comes out, these babies look like the parents."
For the most part, let's not go into the other parts of having babies he thought to himsef.
"So the baby will look a bit like Ulani and Ulrich for example, in this case."
He raised a brow at Elnara.
"Was that too simple?"

"Good enough for me," Elnara laughed softly.
Celebor hooked one finger on his lower lip thoughtfully. "But if just the mommy has the baby, why does it look like the mommy and the father?" he asked, a little confused.

"Well...." Lore was trying to figure out how to explain this without going too much into detail, "You need both a man and a woman, or in this case a mother and a father to make the mommy pregnant, that's why the baby has a bit of the father."
Unless of course the race was asexual but he was not going there.

Celebor grinned. "Oh!" he said brightly, finally understanding. "Okay then!" He opened the door for all of them to step inside. "Do they gotta be married, then? Cos that's what Serenity says, that what she says Uncle Elrohir says."
He blinked. "Do you know my uncle Elrohir?" he asked Lore curiously. "Cos I don't but Serenity does, and Mommy doesn't like talking 'bout him."

"Ideally the person should be married," Lore replied back, "But technically married couples do have children together."
He didn't want to get into that, if he gave Celebor the wrong idea, it would be hard to educate him properly on the subject later. Though he felt like he was pushing himself into a corner with that.

Ulani was in her bedroom when she heard everyone coming into the house, nursing Aliya. She had closed the door when she had come in, just in case, and now she was glad she had. It wasn't that she was modest or anything, but because she knew others were, especially when their children were around.
Ulrich led everyone into the livingroom and let them take a seat.
"Anyone hungry?" he asked, looking around at the rather sizable group. "I can get a snack if you'd like."
Since the afternoon was growing fairly late by now. But dinner wouldn't be until Ulani was ready to prepare it, at least another hour before they coud eat.

"Okay," Celebor nodded to Lore. "But you and Mommy aren't married, right? So Mommy won't have a nat'ral baby then, right?"
Elnara turned away from the conversation at Ulrich's comment and smiled gratefully. "Thanks, Ulrich," she nodded. "That would be nice."
She took a seat with Idhril on the couch, and Serenity and Skye ran over and claimed one of the chairs, sitting together side-by-side.

"Right," Lore replied with a nod and thankfully that had been the easiest question.
He wouldn't think of sleeping with her, much less having a baby without marrying her first. It wouldn't be proper if he did so, with a bit of a sigh he took a seat beside Elnara still holding the twins.

The twins climbed down from Lore's arms and sat on his lap instead. Elnara leaned against him, laying her head on his shoulder, and stroked Idhril's hair slowly.
"So much adventure in only one day," she murmured to him with a smile. "Though it's a nice change from the hustle of Gaia, isn't it?"

"It is," Lore admitted looking arond him.
It was nice to not be in a city anymore, even if it's only for a brief time. He let the twins sit where they were watching them, it reminded him when Skye was that small.

She reached out and took one of his hands in her own and gave it a little squeeze.

"They have been wondefully nice," Lore replied squeezing back with a smile.
He wasn't sure at first when Ulrich began asking questions, but since it was geninue interest, he didn't mind. So he was at ease for the most part with these two.
