After a long while, Tochi seperated from her. He tried to say something, anything, but he could only smile. He began to walk back to the pagoda, arm in arm with her.

Aideki appeared in the woods, standing below a line of cherry blossom trees as the cherry blossoms came raining down. She blinked, looking around. The teleportation trick was handy, but she still prefered to do things herself.
Her hand disappeared into her jacket and she pulled out an elven dagger, sharp and well honed. She looked it over, then gripped it tightly in her cut-off gloved hand.
"Come out and play..." she whispered, the corners of her lips curling upward, "You owe me it..."
She felt the spirit inside her grin and Aideki closed her eyes, feeling its essence pour out of her, though it was still connected to her body as it always would be.
She couldn't see the spirit, but she could feel it.
Suddenly she lunged forward, slashing out with her dagger. It clashed with something invisible and she jumped back, grinning, "Good..."

Travis swooped by and dropped Tochi as he breathed fire on Two of the Demons

Tochi dropped to a branch and drew out Oni and Ceres.

*Hikari reached the edge of the forest and quickly scaled a tree. She'd have a better vantage point from there. She silently moved above the treetops until she felt the battle below her. She slipped down to a lower branch and surveyed the scene. She didn't have her bow and arrows with her or else she could have done more damage. She thought of teleporting to her room, but was afraid she wouldn't be able to teleport back with enough accuracy to avoid appearing right in front of a demon or something. However, she still had a lot of white magic at her disposal.
First, she used a simple spell to hide her presence. It wouldn't withstand a counter-spell, but as long as they didn't know where she 'probably' was, it would work. She might get a few spells off before it failed.
She summoned a binding spell, and not a moment too soon. A demon charged Takara and she managed to block the strike. Takara was too close to bind the attacking demon so she cast the spell on a largish demon that was approaching her.
The demon fell to the ground completely frozen. It wasn't even concious anymore. Quickly, Hikari leapt to another spot in the trees so her position would remain unknown.*

Aideki parried an attack from the invisible force she was training with. Sweat was forming on her forehead from the effort and she did a back flip, landing in a squatting position as she grinned snuggly at where the presumed force drifted.
She then suddenly lunged at it, teeth and dagger tearing. However, as she flew through the air, she heard a clattering noise somewhere deep within the forest and her concentration was broke. The force hit her hard on the chest and she fell back with a huff, tumbling to the ground.
She snarled, standing to her feet, "Gee, thanks..." she said sarcasticly, then straightened, turning her head to the sounds, pointy ears perked up curiously, "What is that?" she asked rhetorically.
It sounded like a fight, and she sucked in, pulling the essence of the spirit back inside her as she continued to peer through the many trees.

*Hikari saw the swath of arrows heading for her. She couldn't avoid them all and knew she would have to use a shield spell which would give away her location. But, she had another idea to use as well...
She called up an energy shield that blocked the first onslaught but the flash of bluish light showed the demons where she was sitting, and they hadn't stopped firing at her general position. They launched an even larger attack on where she was sitting but they found nothing but air. Just as she had called up the shield, she used her after-image technique which left a nearly opaque image of herself at that moment, in this case only a faint blue light from the shield. Initially the arrows had been covering any paths she could have taken through the trees, but when they saw the light, they concentrated their attack only on that specific point. But she was no longer there. The timing had been exact, as there was less than a second before the second attack had come, but she had made it.
However, using the after-image was incredibly draining on Hikari and she had to rest before she could be of any more help. She went up much higher into the trees where arrows couldn't reach her and collapsed on a tree branch, breathing heavily. The cloaking spell was still in effect, but if it were hit by a counter-spell, it would dissolve. She only hoped at least the distraction of the two other demons had been of help to the others*

"I can sense a great pressence out there..." Hissed the menacing voice in her head as it grinned slightly "Go take a look...."
"Shut up!" Aideki snapped, irritated by the voice's snide disposition.
However, Aideki was excited... Maybe it was a fight. She hadn't fought in a long time and she had been itching for a good one.
Starting out through the forest then, she ran along switfly. Her crimson eyes peered far past the trees infront of her as she strained to catch a glimpse of what was going on. She spotted figures, and her assumptions were confirmed. It was a fight.
She stopped just outside where the battle was taking place and watched for a moment. The people from the lakeside were there, the two men and two women. Aideki grinned when she realized they were fighting some sort of demons... So the Pagoda wasn't perfect after all. Aideki was thankful.
She spotted a demon closing in from behind, slyly, and her grin widened. Jumping suddenly out, Aideki arched her dagger out through the air and it came slicing down right into the demon's head. The creature squealed and roared with anger, bucking and throwing Aideki' from its back. She tumbled to the ground near Takara, but quickly scrambled to her feet, "Need any help?" she asked the girl beside her, hefting her dagger readily.

Aideki met the demon with the curved blade with her dagger, their weapons clashing. Aideki gritted her teeth against the strength of the creature, pushing back with all her might. Swiftly, she slipped out her cutlass that had been hanging at her side and slipped it up into the demon's stomache. It shrieked.
There was nothing magical about Aideki. She was just agile and extremely quick, moving like the wind at times as she fought. Her small elven dagger was one of her only enigmas. It was small, but sharp and deadly. The elven metal it was made with was no ordinary metal and it saved her life more times than she could ever keep track of.
She quickly pulled out her cutlass and chopped off the demon's head, then jumped back, dodging a back swing from the axe-weilding creature.

Tochi Sat crouched on the tree limb. he saw movement out of the corner of his eye and dashed for it, leaping from branch to branch. and he was gone.
