Really? I'd be up for that! Of coarse if I do buy the staff from you, I would have to change my mind about donating 50 chips to your biannual tournament. And are you sure you want to lose 200 chips in this transaction? How did you come across 2 of those anyway?

(you mean in the wagon train? I could deal 14 damage to one of the bandit scum, and if you deal 1 damage with your fireball that would be perfect.)

The problem Is I would have to waiste a turn to use power up when I could instead be doing damage. I do more damage over all if I am just consistent with my spells rather than trying to power them up. This is why AP fighter-mage might be worth getting. I could power up and use a spell in the same round. It would be very useful in a variety of situations. However I'm still not sure if it is worth sacrificing 20 extra hp for.

It would really depend on the party. If there is someone there that can pull attacks from you, then focusing on magic might would be the way to go!
But if you want to be the first PVP mage... go for the life.

Are you the tank becasue everyone keeps attacking you instead of everyone else?
Then get a friend with Taunt or defender.

Yeah... We got taunt in the dungeon Kail and I are in right now, and I'm going to equip it, though it would be better on a less magey type... I guess I do have more HP than Kail though. Hopefully Master of Gladiators stops sending everyone at Kail, if not I'll have to stop using my magic, and start using taunt... poor Kail, he's really getting picked on in this dungeon. At least we have a healer. As for my color, I guess I could see myself going either way... If I become a red mage, I would have to get a much cooler weapon than my dagger, and I don't think that will be the case due to my new staff. I guess I'll just try to talk the DM's into making some spells for me to beef up my dragon with, that would be cool. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what is available when I finish my dungeon.

Yeah are tank was Radryn and he mysteriously vanished during his house moving. Right now luc has more defense than anybody else though I have slightly more hp. We temporarily gave him the taunt we found just in case they try focus firing on me again. I must say I like being beefy. 50 hp with the life drain spell would make me a very hard target to take down. I'm sorting building a pvp mage even though I don't plan to pvp, its funny.
