Vixen, however, could not wait for Skip and his wonderful observations. She simply had to have a go at this beastly thing. Staring it down, she thought about all the wondrous things she could try on it. So many ways to fillet, or slice. Whichever was appropriate in the current scenario, if any at all. Vixen happily began to charge at one of the joint between its sections.

Vixen readied to go again. It was lovely having a shield around her. She very nearly felt invincible. Which could almost be dangerous, but she didn't really stop to care. She could only think about death. Lots of death and killing and blood. Yes, that was what had sole control of her mind. Glorious gleaming blood on her grand stained blade. It was pure ecstacy in the making. She aimed for the joint again

This is a new skill. Rearing its head as if in blinding pain itself, the beast somehow teleports forward, landing right in front of Vixen. Dealing both a physical slash with one of its blindingly sharp claws and a blast of searing light from its crown-based gem, the skill assaulted Vixen on two fronts...something that Emerald had unintentionally "planned for".
And deals 60 damage!
And deals 195 damage!
