Walking into the food hall he saw no one else. "Guess everyone else is still in the training room." itovaa said aloud. Walking over to the droid he grabed a bowl and got his slop (thats what it looked like anyway) from the droid and went and sat down. The smell of the stuff was enough to put anyone off there food but as bad as it smelled Itovaa really needed substance and he guessed it would sustain him. After he finished eating he stood in the middle of the foodhall and thought about his next task. Lightning another force skill, rolling his eyes he consentrated on the anger he felt for his father for leaving him and not returning aliv, at being left with his borther and mum as the head man in the house at such a young age. Watching his mother lose intrested in living and became so ill and frail she died shortly after. Sparks crackled between his fingertips and directing his hand at the bowl he left on the table lightning shot from his hand and struck the bowl causing it to explode. Smiling to himself through his anger he realized he was one step closer to what he wanted and that stop was building his saber. Leaving the mess hall he walked to the training hall and found most of the student still there including the newbe. looking around a couple of the students were already standing around the table with the datapads on. walking over to them he noticed Hae-den and Tobias. Out of all the people here he knew Hae-den would be one of the first but he was suprised by Tobias being there he thought it would be the ex-jedi. As he reached the table he picked up one of the datapads and started looking at the design. "this looks like it will be hard. though it will be fun" he muttered.

A freighter came out of hyperspace, a black and customized Corellian Action VI Transport slowly making its way towards the planet, its surface black and red, filled the view ports. The pilot though instead of turning and heading home with the sight of the dark planet, adjusted the sublight engines and headed into the atmosphere of the planet, he came out of the atmosphere...the Dragon Claw's hull sizzled with the heat, the pilot engaged the atmospheric engines, and pulled up, on the controls, his ship flying fifty meters above the surface of the planet.

He spotted a large palace like structure, and set the coordinates, letting the ship do the work as is landed softly on a large patch of black lava rock. Repulserlifts went off about the ship stabilizing it and releasing hot steam. The pilot set the ship into a shutdown cycle, and decided to set the controls to standby in case the people on this planet didn’t want any visitors. The pilot walked out of the cockpit and down a hallway, pressing a button on the wall that made a door slide up and out of view, the landing ramp moving slowly to the ground in front of him, he walked down the ramp onto the black lava rock.

He walked slowly and rhythmically, his footsteps making less sound than that of the wind outside even with his reinforced beskar boots. Upon his head, a large hood, that cascaded down enough to shade his head from view. A helmet, glinting whitish silver as the light from the lightning lit the surface, black designs, symbolic over the silver surface of the helmet, the black hard to determine where the designs ended and the shadows began. A long jagged gash across the left chest plate of his armor, showing that he was a recognized as "Beast" or to the Dathomir witches "Rancor", as a formidable warrior, and brother. The Teal T shaped opaque glass-like substance that allowed for the tall man to see through glowed softly as if alive. The huge black cloak that adorned his shoulders was nothing hard to miss. The high collar of the cloak rose about his face and neck in a circle, hiding from where his neck met his shoulders to half way up the helmet. The cloak had a seam that ran down from the collar to the bottom of the cloak, behind the seam, a zipper held the cloak about his figure. The huge sleeves of the cloak covered his arms, hands, and fingers, as they hung loosely at his side. The sleeves came down a good foot from his fingers, swallowing up his arms and making his arms invisible within the folds of cloth. His midnight black cloak camouflaged him well in the darkness, though the silver glowing symbols on his cloak made him stand out. There were silver designs of an ancient language spaced about his cloak, which glowed in the darkness as if made from molten metal, they also shifted slowly across his cloak like writhing tentacles groping for fresh meat. The cloak's bottom hovered only a few centimeters from the ground, moving itself over obstacles as he walked.

His head within the large hood turned to look up at the large palace in front of him, behind his helmet of black and silver, no emotions played on his face as the readings from his HUD displayed the life signs and specific markings on the obsidian walls. He stepped forward, towards the towering structure, and the landing ramp of his ship rose, the paint scheme on the ship mimicking the black and silver of his mask, and was hard to spot as it was camouflaged in this wasteland of a planet.

Keiigon had made his entrance..

Lovan awoke slowly. He had no clue as to how long he had been out. His head felt like it had been split in two, and for a second he thought that it had. He tried to sit up and realized he was still strapped to his seat, which had dislodged itself from the floor. His muscles ached and he couldn't feel his right arm.

Lovan tried to unbuckle himself. His muscles screamed in pain as he did, and it was futile anyway. The buckle was jammed. A piece of metal was stuck in the center of it. The buckle had probably saved him from being pierced by it.

He looked around as much as he could given the pain and position he was in. We saw his double-bladed sword lying on the ground not far away from him. Considering the gaping hole in the side of the ship, it was a wonder it hadn't flown out at some point during the fall.

Despite the pain that Lovan felt, he somehow managed to drag himself and the seat he was in over to his sword and cut the buckles away. Ordinarily, this would not have been a difficult feat, but Lovan's every muscle was in pain, and he seemed to have broken his arm, if not, at the very least dislocated it.

He crawled/dragged himself out of ship with his sword strapped to his back. When he reached the outside he saw he was on a barren world. He could see nothing but rocks and desert, and it was mildly hot and humid. He wasn't sure whether he was imagining it or not, but thought he saw statues not too far from him. With one blink of an eye Lovan lost consciousness again.

((sorry for the absence. College takes up a lot of time and a friend of mine just died this past week. Stress sucks))

Tobias examined the data-pad in front of him. It displayed the tools and instruments needed to forge a lightsaber. It was a good thing he worked well with mechanics, otherwise this would all seem like jibberish to him. It seems simple enough. he thought to himself. The spare parts in my ship should be sufficient. He turned and headed towards the hangar where his ship was held. He got lost a few times, but eventually he found it. He walked to the cargohold of his ship, and began to pull out his tools and spare parts. Within the hour, he'd been able to construct a lightsaber, minus the power core needed for the blade. He was unfamilier with the crystal bit, but he could just as well find an electric power cell, but he din't have one on him. But he was sure he'd be able to figure something out eventually...

Hae-Den figured it best to first explore the armory for the remaining light saber parts, but first he will retrieve his power cell from his equipment, in his dorm. He turned promptly around and walked swiftly down the hall to his room. the door slid open with an unusual creek, it never made that noise before,

probably nothingthought Hae-den, as he continued through the door immediately dug into his equiptment to retrieve his power cell. at the instant he found it he slipped it into a handy bag an slipped it into his belt stood up stretched his legs for a split second and proceeded to the door.

He nearly walked right into the door because its automatic operation system didn't kick in, as it should have. no doubt this was out come of what ever caused that wretched noise moments earlier. Hae-den raised his to open the door manualy, suddenly however his mind changed. he felt the door's energies, and remembered that the force flows within all things, students, ships, blocks, even doors. The force plays no favorites, all things are one with it, and emersed within it.

Hae-den pressed the force within himself against the door, fighting against the resistance against the walls, the locks and the inertia of the door itself to slowly open it wide. He held it there with deep concentration, he was so concentrated on only the door that as he walked through it he almost tripped on his own foot. he re balanced himself and managed out of his room completely only to have the door slam shut behind him. it would be trouble each day to simply get into his own room now, but at the same time, excellent practice.

((Mother is healthy now, but now I'm sick. XD Anyway, My computer isn't working so I'm using the library.))

Sieg glanced up at his Dark Master and listened to her words. He had to perform force lightning. Something he had been wanting to do for years, but did not know how to do so.

He raised his right hand and focused on his target. He outstreatched with the force. He thought to himself. As he hardened his consentration and tried to create lightning, he felt a painful electrical current go through his arm which made him drop his hand. Apparently he did not focus correctly and it backfired on him.

He raised his hand and focused more, trying to drive his thoughts and emotions through the air and towards his target. Before he knew it, a tiny spark shot out from two of his three fingertips and went out a few inches before dieing out.

"Damnit!" Sieg shouted. He couldn't get the hang of it. More training was in order. He walked over to the table and picked up the datapad with the information on it to build a lightsaber. He took a quick glance over it and noticed a couple key differences between the Jedi lightsabers and the Dark Jedi ones. He then picked up all the pieces necessary from the other table and assembled the lightsaber, but without a crystal, it is just a piece of plastic and metal.

He turned on his heel and began walking down the corridor into his room where he spent the entire night practicing with the force lightning. Failure after failure.

His master's words echoed in his head. He needed so much more anger then what he was putting out. His thoughts turned to his former master, always correcting him, always condescending and never praising. His eyes flashed red and he raised his arm. A small jet of lightning erupted from four of his fingertips and licked the far wall in his room for a few seconds before Sieg fell to his knees. He had not been expecting the feeling he had gotten from using such dark force powers, and felt drained.

But he liked it.

Hae-den turns and continues down the hall to find the armory and finaly get the rest of the peices to his future lightsaber.

not once have i been given a single set of directions to find anything in this forsaken maze. it would seem that finding the armory would be more difficult than it really should be. Hae-dens frusteration climbs feriouciously as he passes the training room twice and the mess hall three times looking for a door to the armory. his anger building, his fist soars into a hard stone wall, however the force flew with it and upon impact the wall crumbled around his fist, a gaping crater where his hand had thrust into. the force did that, assuredly, his hand would have broken into pathetic peices if not covered in the purifying and protective powers of the Force. hae-den knew better than to let his emotions flare like that. the other students might not know, perhapse they never realized the consiquence to such carelessness. it is true that the masters of this academy never have realized it either. alas they do exist, and Hae-den knew the importance of right mind, and right emotion. His hand could have easily been broken, and his continuance as a student in this academy would be compromised. he wispered to himself. Always be mindful Hae-den Ferric, all ways remain true to your wisdom.

Hae-den took a deep breath and began once again to look for the academy, he made his way left down the next corador and to his surprise it truely was a hall he had never been down yet. He walked no more than 20 paces down it to finaly find a large metal door to the left.

locked not doubt, the masters would not be so easy on us. Hae-den again decided to rely on his force powers once again. he felt the power within him again, he felt the door with his hand and a warmth tingled to its touch. The force exists even in this door, and as a matter of fact, the door, dispite its immense weight and size, and no doubt its powerful resistance against intrusion, was nothing compared to the ounce of force within that of a key hole.

the force was the key, and hae-den held that key at all times within him. He lifted his hand an violently twisted his wrist the force's strong movements followed him within the instant like the hand of an ancient Zabrak swordsman and the sword within it. the door's mechanisms began to twirk and clank. the lock turned and the door began to slide open.

hae-den wasted no time, he swiftly strode into the room before the door had even enough time to open completely. alas the many peices were already organized and placed neatly on a series of tables, one student received one of each nessecary peices. hae-den examined each peice as to make sure there were no defects. he collected the peices needed, all of them pristine and perfect, he even still took the provided power cell, he figured it could still remain useful.

Hae-den gathered a few useful looking tools and quickly made his way back to his room to begin constructing the single most important tool a force user could have.

As Tobias had been making his way back to his room, he noticed Hae-den further ahead, walking out of a room with what seemed to be parts from the datapad to build a lightsaber. Curious, Tobias himself went to the room and looked around. He had found himself in the armory, and on one table, had seen where Hae-den had retrived his own parts. Looking at his own constructed lightsaber to the pieces, a thought came to him. Tobias quickly disassembled his lightsaber and began rebuilding it, replacing some parts with the parts left on the table. The end result was a better lightsaber hilt than his first one. Now all he needed to do was find a power source. Master Valeera had mentioned that they wouldn't find a crystal in the Temple, and he didn't have a power cell of any kind. Since he'd seemed to have hit a dead end in that department, Tobias decided to head back to his room and get a good night's sleep.

Tobias looked around the armory and found a glass case on the wall, in which a few small cylinders held crystals. He examined them and realized that these would be a sufficient power source for the blade. Examining them closer, he found that they were all different colors. There were mostly different shades of red, with a few shades of orange and yellow. But the one that caught his eye was the last one of it's color. Tobias reached in and removed the cylinder with the purple crystal. He looked at it for a moment before placing it into his lightsaber.

After sealing it up, he held it out, and pushed the ignition button. Before him, a purple blade emitted from the hilt and he looked at in in a sort of trance. He had done it, and it was all his...

[@Terra Halliwell, i dont mean to be Mr. Bitchy McBitchster but i dont think we were supposed to get our crystals yet, if you read the instructor's second to last post she says we should have everything but the crystal when we are done with your objectives.]

Hae-den forces the door to his dorm open walks thorugh and lets it slam itself shut. it slammed so hard the floor shook just alittle bit and a bitt of mortar fell from a crack in the ceilling onto Hae-den's bed. He swept off the dust and layed out all of the parts he had just retreived from the armory.

Hae-den reveiwed the datapad information and decided it best to begin to put the casings togather first as the casing maintains the structure and holds all of the individual parts in their place. Hae-den had grabed an unusually long casing and hand grip. he snapped the casings togather and they fit togather perfectly, although the hand grip was a little difficult to secure into its place it was put togather in only a about 30 minuets.

Next on the adjenda was the emitter matrix and power cell, this should be significantly more difficult as the wiring makes it a lot more complicated, hae-den realized that the long casing allowed hae-den to place an extra powercell in the hilt, and he had just that. with the combination of both powercells the extra power will allow both cells to regenerate energy faster and more efficiently.

Hae-den easily inserted the cell insulators and began to place the power cells in the insulator. he had worked the wiring onto each cell before placing them in the insulator so that everything was in order already. the ignition switch and adjustment knobs were next, a little winding and soldering took care of those parts as well.

however hae-den was tired, he had spent at least three hours putting things togather and with the force lightning exercise earlier hae-den needed some rest. he placed everything in its pack, all ready for the morning and began his evening exercizes. only after five minuets he was satisfied and layed down for a good night's rest.

(np Halliwell, yous a koo kat! *fivers*)

Hae-den awoke violently from a fairly unnerving night-mare. the time here had been rather mentaly stressful and costing. no doubt he was begining to feel the anxieties stemming from that stress. anxieties he had not had since his pilgrimage from Iridonia, from the trivial tribal wars, the violence, the brutality, the rage. he left hell to seek paradise, paradise in the force and he came to Korriban hoping to find it.

this anxiety seemed to be coming back from those many years ago, something brings them back, and the stress is not yet that strong in Hae-den's mind to upset him so deeply. surely this planet has something harsh about it, something brutal about it, reminicent of barren Iridonia. the sand dust and tension in the air make it hard to breathe, its more stuffy than the techno smog of Mygeeto, and more clostrophobic than the 3rd class travelers quarters of inter system cruisers.

Hae-den took a deep breth and sat in a kneeling meditation attempting to clear his mind of these distractions, he remembers from his father's lessons. such insecutities are deterrants to success. he must relax he must return himself to the free flowing sensations he felt when he first touched the force not less than a week ago.

[edit]

After two long hours Hae-den recovered himself to a sensable mindgframe. he should be able to do a fairly decent job putting the rest of his light saber togather despite his lack of sleep.

he stood up and layed out the pristine peices of lusterous shine an orderd display. at the top left corner of the lay out sat the emitter matrix and its wiring, hae-dens plans to make it the next part to place into the hilt. as he screws and locks it in its pace he realizes that the instalation of the adjustment nobs will conflict witht he wiring to the emitter. with a deep and frusterated sigh he removes the emitter and it's wiring. He then sets his all purpose arc needle to cut the holes for the nobs and quickly installs the adjustment electronics. the nobs snap in like hands in well fitted deuling gloves.

As Hae-den places the emitter wiring back into its place he finds it substantialy more difficult as the room is becoming far more cramped. hes frusteration brings him to want to simply throw the whole thing across the room, but he knows better. Hae-den takes a deep breath and soon after finds the magical spot for the emitter wires and screws the emitter head right in without any problem.

This frusteration is holding me back, i must remove its distraction from my mind, eliminate this anxiety if not for ever than at least for now.

Hae-den slips out of his lay clothing and slides into his Baran Do meditation robes, slides open his broken door with the force and strides gracefully to the meditation hall. As he walks into the room he is surprised at the presence of strange dark silleuete sitting in meditation a meter and a half in front of the door, thier body in perfect position and thier body facing towards the wall ahead. Hae-den quickly gathered himself, he could only feel a small fleeting of power within this individual, less even than any of Hae-den's fellow students. Yet they have the confident air of the instructor.

Hae-den took his first steps into the room and stepped over a comfortable location in the room facing directly into a wall, glanced over to the strange figure. he clears his head of this strange figure and ignores the strange pressence they have concentrating on the wall, concentrating on the force, and the force that flows through Hae-den himself.

Hae-Den centered himself he envisioned the harmony within him and the harmony of the force with which he is infused. His heart slowed and his mind is emptied, his hands settled atop his knees. the stream of the force, its currents, its flows cleanse Hae-Den of his frustrations, and his anxieties, just as a river would cleanse the body. The energies of the force healed the pains and revitalized what was exhausted just as the cool crisp water of a mountain stream would quench the thirst of a passer by.

While Hae-Den rested his mind and his body in the flow of the force the mysterious figure finaly moved. They stood up with the completion of their meditations and placed a short glance at Hae-den as they relaxed and left. Hae-den himself was completely unaware.

Hae-den began to reestablish his mind, He remembered the power of the anger flowing through him as he struck the wall with force lightning. he remembered the sharp strenght that he wraught when he hurled a spear of the force at the wall within his room and chipped the stone. he remembered the harsh warmth through out him as he committed both acts and how erratic his mind was yet at the same time it was so satisfied with the results.

Hae-den remembered the power itself that came with the erratic strength remembering the feeling as if something solid was in his arms and his hands at both these times. it was not etheral like the force on its own. it was like an object in and of itself tangible, and hard. it was not like the force but it was the force. perhapse this is the dark side, perhapse this is what the instructor praised so many times in her lectrues, perhapse this is the side of the force that his Kel-Dor masters claimed to be an abomination, a perversion of the force itself. Certainly it was not the pure flow, it was not the normal activity of the force as it is when Hae-den meditates. surely it must be this perversion.
the power is so real, so easily tapped, so readily accessed. alas, the Baran Do masters warn me away from it. for this very same appeal is, to them, the abhorred temptation. this is most definitely what keeps the Jedi cowering behind their codes. I must not be so quick to use it, i do fear of loosing my own self to it, i do fear of loosing my path. yet i will keep it close.

[Valeera Sanguinar]
[Kazuto Dai]

Master Dai walked through the halls of the temple looks for Valeera, the order from the dark lady in his hands were more important then his life and had to be given to her as soon as possible. After turning another corner he found her working with the apprentices of the temple.

Valeera, Kazuto said as he turned the corner to get her attention. Here are the order from the Dark Lady, there is a transport waiting outside for you and the apprentices. He said handing her a data pad of the weapon that the Jedi were trying to hide from them. After handing then data pad to her Dai turned and left without saying another word.

Valeera read the data pad, the shadow of her hood covering her face. Any expression she might have been showing was unknown to the Apprentices. The Data pad help the same information the the Master Kay at the jedi temple had been told by the council. Simple put Sanguinar's orders are to take the apprentices and flank the Jedi forces from the south that way they will have the Jedi surrounded.

Everyone!, Valeera spoke over the small croud of apprentices who were working on their different parts of their training. The Dark Lady has given us a job and we are to leave in one hour. You should all have the data pad on the construction of your lightsaber, get the data pad and all the material needed to make your saber if you have not done so and meet outside the temple in 30. I will have the crystals that the armory will not have. Stated in a cold and quick manner. MOVE IT! She yelled at them sharply

Atlas Shadow soon had collected his equipment and was soon walking towards the outside of the temple. He had managed to get ahead of most others with making his light saber and had little else to gather together. His eyes were closed for the most part. Once he reached out side he stood waiting for the others. He did not speak and he barley made a noise. Such things were not important at the moment. He simply was running recent lessons threw his head making sure everything in his mind was in order. He was waiting for his moment to prove his worth.
