Sol chuckled and moved his hand away, stepping aside and letting Karma get access to her door. This way she could get into her room first and get used to the sight. She seemed a bit skittish.

She turned the key and opened the door. Everything was how she left it. Still bare and you wouldn't know she had bee there, except the wrinkle of the bedding. "Ok, so here's my home." She stated it really for herself to here..not Sol.
Next she walked over to the bed and smiled at Sol, I guess I'll be on this side, so that you can sneak out when I'm asleep." She slipped under the covers and then waited for him to join her.

Sol chuckled. "If you'd rather, I will sit on the wall... I can sleep anywhere..." He smiled. "I mean... That is... If you want me to spend the night..." He scratched the back of his head.
He moved over to the bed and sat at the bottom of it... In case Karma wanted to scoot over.

Karma shook her head. "I want to see the words. I won't bite, you know." She patted the bed next her. She was hoping she could lean on him and look at the words as he read, even if she didn't know what they said. "And, I don't mind if you stay the night." She secretly hoped he would, but didn't want to push.

Sol smiled and scooted up and sat down next to her, wrapping an arm around her shoulder and pulling her close as he opened the book. "It wouldn't matter if you did bite, you're still good company..." Chuckling he took a moment, and he started to read.

Karma smiled and cuddled into him. She had never flet this closeness with any pae before. It felt warm and well...safe. She had never fel un-safe before, but she now knew what safe felt like. She giggled at his comment and then looked at the book as he started to read.

Sol read for hours, getting through the first couple chapters of the book, The pace of the book slowed quite a bit after the quite action packed prologue. But in the end he wasn't overly worried. It wouldn't take long to get through half of it.

Karma was enjoying the book alot. She "oohed" and "awwed" at different points. She didn't say much as to not interrupt the pace of his reading.
After a few hours her eyes started to feel heavy and she felt herself falling asleep, she tried to fight it, but eventually giving in. Karma lay on Sol's chest with her head buried into it.

Sol dog eared the page, and closed the book, placing it on a near night stand, he smiled and leaned forwards, kissing Karma's head softly before laying his own head back and closing his eyes, his arm holding Karma close. It had been a long time since he'd had someone so close to him.
He was tired. So he slept.
And he dreamed, dreams of happiness and light.
