Lex closed the door to the room, forgetting to lock it out of habit. He ran his hand back through his hair, picking up some of the gel along the way. "Disgusting stuff." He commented watching the goo in his hand. He wiped his hand on his tie and took it off, dumping it on the floor. He sighed and took his shirt off, taking note that he didn't have his jacket. Did Sky still have it?
Didn't matter. Not his style anyway. He'd already discarded the shoes by the door along with his socks.
He was tired, and a little drunk. That wasn't going to affect much other than the way he might act. He only blushed earlier as a result of the alcohol. In most cases he'd ignore the question or make it appear he didn't care what people thought. Yes, guys care abut other people's opinions too.
He proceeded to the bathroom, stripping off the last of his clothing, which by now wasn't much anyway.

Lani turned the corner of the corridor and stopped in her tracks, immediately backing up to be unseen. At last! A butler! What's better, he had a tray full of empty glasses from somewhere. Oh, this was perfect. She herself couldn't exactly sneak up, considering the butler was walking down the hall into her direction. She had to nab him before he got to the end!
Mischievous Latina stared down at the crystal. "You know what to do... roll, li'yl one!" Her voice was but a whisper. The orb not only obeyed but seemed excited to do it, vibrating on the floor with its inner light twinkling as if Tinkerbell was inside, giggling herself to death. The sphere rolled into the hall, unseen by the butler, whose nose WAS rather high in the air anyway, and placed herself in just the right place in front of the butler's freshly landed foot. And like magic, it glued itself to the spot, unmoving like a rock, the butler flying forward and landing on his front side. The platter of glasses flew for the wall just a few feet away and every single one shattered and landed it shards on the floor. Lani ducked behind the wall after watching the whole thing happen, trying to stifle hysterical laughter.
Shockingly, the butler got right back up and looked at what made him so clumsy. He approached the orb and tried to pick it up... but it was as heavy as a boulder, despite the small size. But now the crystal had dimmed, so it just looked like a glass white sphere, shrouding its own lively mist inside to not be seen. The butler cursed at it and eft he hall to get something. When out of sight, the orb came back to life and rolled down the hall into the waiting hands of Lani, who was ducked down to pick it up. "Before he comes back, chik-a-dee," she cooed quietly, snickering.
Once she was far enough away, outside of one of the guest rooms, she burst into cackles at the event. "Won' that butler be shocked when he gets back to see you gone, li'yl crystal!? Hahaaaahaha!" Surely she was so loud that either Sky or Lex had to have heard the glasses breaking or her laughter.

Alex heard the glasses shatter and went to investigate, only to snicker at the butler as he cursed in an un-gentleman like manner. He perched himself against the wall, watching as the man picked himself up. It had been awhile since the butler dealt with something small and move able such as the crystal.
Skyling finished showering off, washing away the evenings stresses. She washed out all the crap from her hair, the dirt and perfume and the like from her skin, even scrubbing her face clean with a skin cleanser. When everything was washed out, she stepped out and wrapped a big fluffy towel around her form.
She hummed softly and left her bathroom for her bedroom, trailing a little water as she went. She rummaged through her dresser, looking for her pajamas and found her favorite silky ones. Drying off, she slipped into her clothing and hung her towels up, leaving her room to see how her guests were doing.
Her hair was still damp from the shower. She knew it would be a pain to detangle so she brought her brush with her and started to run it through carefully.
She trailed through the house, oblivious to the glasses broken and the shattered pieces on the floor until she stepped on a sharp piece that pierced her foot and gave a loud yelp.
Alex frowned and floated to her side, scowling as he pushed the pieces away from her feet and made her sit down. He glanced to the butler. "Clean the mess up," he said softly with a form of authority.
The butler swore again as his mistress injured herself and he had been in the process of cleaning the stuff up.
Alex turned back to the foot and lifted it, ignoring the small hiss that came from Sky. He watched with fascination as blood trickled down her foot.

(Sky didn't have a butler? In her huge manor-ish thing of a home? With all her money, and her position? Unreal, no way, get out, unheard of! :O Even my bf's parents have cleaning ladies that come by, and it's only a 3 story 6 bedroom 2 living room 3 bathroom house. Not a manor, but LOL.)
Of course... Lani wasn't far. She cringed a little and looked around for something that would help. This girl didn't like the sight of blood, and wanted to hide it! Unable to find anything, she knelt on one knee and ripped a good chunk of the end of her pajama pants, and approached Sky.
A brief glance at Alex, signaling him to move aside for the moment. Then, shockingly gentle, careful hands removed any little glass shards with long fingernails and she patted the blood off with the cloth, then wrapped it around Sky's foot. "Muchos, muchos siento," she blurted, head shaking after. "I am sooo so sorry, chica," she repeated in english, her excitement shown in that outburst of short spanish. "You should run and put some bandaid on that!" Poor Lani felt guilty, and her crystal rolled up beside her and then was still.

Lex had heard the crash, though he didn't rush out to find out what was going on. Why? Because he'd only just got out of the shower and was still naked. He dried his lower half off quickly and slipped his pants back on before making his way to the scene.
"What happened?" He asked noting all the glass and Lani tending to Sky's foot. He took another step forward and looked down when he heard a crunch of glass under his bare feet. Stupid move. At least none had been embedded. "Are you guys okay?" He asked a look of concern in his eyes.
They seemed to stand out now more than ever with his wet hair clinging to his chest. He'd not bothered to dry his hair or torso when he heard the glass shattering.

((Heh heh hard to believe eh? ))
Sky tried not to wince or whimper when the glass was taken out of her foot. She even tried not to twitch or move her foot.
Alex hovered nearby, his expression blank as curled near Sky.
Skyling shook her head. "I don't know what happened....I didn't know there was glass until I stepped on it..."
Alex looked up to Lex and shrugged. "Something startled the butler. He must have jumped and dropped glasses and they shattered and here we are."
Sky looked between her two guests, now friends. She took care with Lani. "What happened?"
The undera glanced moreso at Lex before floating away to find a towel and comming back, handing it to Lex.

"I see. Thanks." Lex said with a slight nod when the undera passed him the towel. He dried the rest of his body of and ruffled his hair with the towel to remove excess water. He wasn't really a fan of drying his hair with a towel, having been a hairdresser and all he preferred to let it dry naturally or using a hairdryer. "Its quiet a mess, ah?" He muttered gazing around the floor, lifting his foot to brush the little pieces off and prevent more injuries. "Is there a broom or dustpan somewhere?"

Sky nodded. "There's usually a set in the kitchen or in the laundry area..."
Alex already started picking up the glass shards. He didn't care if they had anything for it.
Skyling moved enough to grasp his hands and dump the glass back on the floor, carefully dusting the glass off his hands. "Never pick up glass with your bare hands, Alexander." She said it softly but firmly.

"Okay." He said heading off, watching Alex for a moment before he did.
When he came back he had a slight limp. He'd not been paying attention to what he was doing and walked straight into a chair, falling over it and smashing into a wall. He just hoped nobody asked any questions, not wanting to feel like such a clutz.He started sweeping the glass shards into a pile wondering how many glasses the butler was actually holding at the time.
"Should you have something on it?" Lex asked noting a few pieces with blood on them.

Sky gave a small smile. "I'll be fine really..." She was sure she'd be fine.
Alex frowned, still looking at her injured foot. The blood and its scent called to him and it unnerved him a little...
Sky looked up to Lex. "Think you can help me up though?"

"Alright then." lex muttered as he placed the broom aside, standing up against the wall. "Does it hurt a lot?" he asked as he reached an arm around behind her so he could support her as she stood up.
A sudden thought hit him and he hesitated for a second before helping her up. He hoped he wasn't getting to close to her. He knew how some people were about others touching them. He didn't think she'd mind to much, but still he could have been a little more considerate about it.

She didn't object to the touch. He helped her up even when pressure wasn't applied to her foot.
