brezzie What was your reaction when you first saw Deidara? We all know that not everyone fell in love with him at first sight. Like some characters, you may need to get usedto them, and then come to love them. What was your first reaction when you saw Deidara? At first I thought hewas a girl.. Srsly... Then I found out he was a guy... and I could see why xD Same as you... I thought him a girl and my best friend who was sitting next to me at the time and who loves him started beating me over the head... Haha... That was funny...

I'm going to be honest, when I first saw him, I was a Gaara fan. So, when I saw him, I hated him because he was an Akatsuki member...but after thinking about it the next day, I was like, "You know what, that dude is pretty cool actually..." And from there, I fell in love with him. xd Now, I'm obsessed with the Akatsuki, Dei-kun in particular.

yeah at first i thought deidara was a girl then when I knew he was a guy.. Ok. so I was wrong but then in the anime I heard him talk with saying "un" at the end of his sentences and I thought it was cute and I fell in love with Deidara.. XD and from then on I became addicted to the akatsuki!

in all honesty when i first saw deidara it was on a video on youtube...i havent seen any full shippuuden episodes (i have only seen clips of episodes.) when i first saw him i said to myself "hmm, what's his name?" and when i figured that out, i went on wikipedia and looked him up. when i read about the explosions all i could think that he was awesome! so THEN i started to watch clips and learn more and more about him and now i am totally and completely in love with him! (BTW, i used to be a kakashi fangirl...*shudders*)
...i knew deidara was a guy right from the start, and my friend and my brother claim that they remember that i thought he was a girl...whatever...

Honestly...
At first I thought he was a girl... and a freak with mouths on his hands...
But then I kinda realized that he was a super awesome psycho bomber. =]
I lurve him... actually... obsession is a better word.

seriously, to be honest, i thought he was a girl. but only because i saw him in this fanfic and someone drew him like a girl. then, when i watched the anime, i realized he was a boy, and so became a Deidara fangirl

Actually I first saw him when shippuden started,not in the manga but in the series so I didn't mistake him for a chicky
anwayyy,At first when he fought gaara I was like "OMFG YOU SON OF A *****" and utterly hated him...... stare
then once gaara was "Magically saved by the pretty ponies" ((lol I just felt like saying that))
And Dei started showing up some more I just loved his charcter,probally cause all the other akatsuki members seemed...hmmm dull....although kisame seems pretty cool but like zetsu he never really...did anything so you know nothing about them 0_O wow totally off subject aren't I?

It seems a lot of people thought the same when they first saw him.
I am also one of the ones who first thought he was a girl.
My friend corrected me afterwards and told me all about him.
