I see. Well, I thank you for the offer, I may take you up on it as this tent does appear as though it could hold more than one, otherwise I may set up nearby. And, though they may not have been able to show you to your quarters but it seems that you've done alright.
I'm not sure if you looked around much since you've arrived, but from what little I've seen, it seems that these soldiers have kept some semblance of order. Did anyone appear to have taken charge in the absence of a designated leader? If there is, it may be worth talking to that person... Otherwise I think we should perhaps call a meeting in the morning, and announce ourselves properly.

Sykle Sursqueek continues rummaging. and muttering. With each book he finds he carefully introduces himself and then begins to read, occasionally asking questions to the book, at other times commenting on the content. ((gather information check on the books take 20+8=28 General world lore 'n such)) You find that the area of border princes has a fifty volume set of just the names of past rulers in this 200-mile expanse. The ruler you are fighting for is one of the oldest empires (at 17 years). You pick up far too many names and ways to lose battles from the collection.

"Agreed, we should announce our selves to the soldiers publically tommorow. I personally vote that you appear as the leader, your clothing makes you look more like a noble, I personally dont fit that look, as you can clearly see" as Thanatos says these words he gestures to his clothing " . . . the dark clothes suit me and my line of work well, but they give me the appearance of a local crime lord, or gambler, which would not be an iconic symbol for the soldiers to follow. Just leave me to the acts of questionable legality and or morality. And other than me the only other choice is the beastman, and i think that hes to flimsy to be a symbol of strength, and more over he would perhaps scare the men, and create a sense of dread amoungst them, and that is never good." And with that Thanatos gives small bow, and without leaving room for a response heads over to his sleeping area "Goodnight, I suggest we rest, tommorow we start to train an army." As the last words escape Thanatos mouth he drops himself down to his blankets and slides his knife underneath the pillow, and lies down to sleep for the night.

"Very well, We will speak to them in the morning then."
Eira will set up a sleeping area at the opposite side of the tent, and prior to laying down to rest, will perform an alarm spell on the tent, to alert her of any entering (mental alarm, not audible). Afterward she will try to rest until morning.

Thanatos awakens with a grown as the early morning sunlight passes through the tent flaps. With a sigh over the lousy night of sleep, Thanatos stands up careful not to make too much noise as he buckles his knives on and slips a few more into hidden sheaths. With his gear attached he walks out side. Adjusting his eyes to the bright sun he looks around at the camp carefully taking in the sights (Spot, mostly looking to see if the camp was well patrolled, and to see if soldiers are already up). Content that the camp did not burn down he goes into a sprint and begins his daily workout routine. (nothing harsh just running, sit ups, push ups). Panting from what he considered a good workout Thanatos tries to slow his breathing and center himself before he begins to practice with his fighting knives. He starts slowly, moving through the positions with grace as he steadily picks up speed until his blades are but a blur through the morning air.

As morning comes, Eira will pull her book from her bag, and sitting on her bedroll will begin to review her spells, and select today's. Afterward she will step outside and look around the camp a bit. If possible she will try to find Thanatos, and Sursqueek. Wishing to determine where to try to announce themselves properly to the troops.
(search: 7+1=8.)
(Spot: 19+1=20)
and if you want a list of spell I chose I can give them to you otherwise I'll just keep track myself.

It is easy to find the large tent once more, but Sursqueek is out of sight until you remember books...

Eira, will locate Thanatos, and without trying to interrupt any more than necessary , ask "When shall we make our formal announcement... I have yet to locate Sursqueek, but I have some ideas as to where he could be. It shouldn't take long...
Do you have a preferred time, as we could begin sending a few men to spread word of the meeting while I gather our friend."

As Eira approaches Thanatos, his blades dart back into the blackend leather sheaths hanging from his belt. "Good morning" he says, pausing to wipe the beads of sweat off his brow. "I suggest several things. One, you allow an answer to your questions before continuing on. Some people will tell you patience is a virtue, but a better reason for the pause is people will get annoyed and shank you. Now let me see if I can remember all of what you just said... we should make our announcement that you are to be the general of the army after the men have woken up and had something to eat. Yes I recommend you find the beastman, and I will also see about recruiting some of the soldiers as spys, and other espionage like characters.

Yes, quite sorry, I'll try to allow you to answer in the future. I'll admit I do tend to get caught up in what I'm saying from time to time. I guess I just want to get it all out, like I'm afraid I'll forget to say something, or leave out some detail. Thankfully It's still nothing compared to what happens when Sursqueek talks...
But, anyway... Very well, I'll find him, and inform him of our plans for the meetings, hopefully he hasn't talked any of the men to death.
Will you perhaps begin to inform the troops that there will be a meeting, while I go.

With a nod of his head Thanatos pivots on his feet and begins to walk towards the camp. Upon his arrival Thanatos looks to see if there are any men who are awake. If there are men awake and cooking breakfast he approaches them and tells them "there is a meeting today in one hour, meet near the command tent, and rouse the rest of the men, the new general is here, and plans on giving a speach. I hear hes one of the best men the king has found. The elves stand no chance, Im sure he will lead us to victory and soon the elven army will lie at our feet, and we shall dine like heros." After or if there was no one up Thanatos walks to the center of camp. Thanatos pauses for a minuter running over what he is going to say and then shouting at the top of his lungs he proclaims "Honorable soldiers of King Uthos, Our king has sent us a gift, a new general, one who is wise and talented. He will lead us to victory and by his command we will trample the elven horde. We will crush all in our path for the saftey of our family, and for the glory of our great kingdom. Rise now and meet him, he is the hand of justice, and by his command we will dispense the punishment the elves deserve. Long have the plundered our lands, long have they sought to take what is no theres. But today that all changes, Lord Eira will lead us to victory for he is the harbringer of peace, and shall end the murdering of our people." (Bluff check Roll+12=__). Once the soldiers have been roused Thanatos goes around spreading rumors such as "The elves sacked one of our villages and murdered everyone inside of it. Eira tracked them down with only 100 men, and he caught up with them at a river. While they were trying to escape we slaughtered them. And even though he was killing those that deserved death, I still saw a tear of remorse in his eyes." he also spreads more rumors like "I hear that the clerics of (insert random god here) are going declare him the campion of said god." (Bluff checks 2 +12 on each) And of course he also says that the meeting will be in one hour at the command tent.

((wow, based on that speech the men'll be suprised to realize that Eira is female))
Anyway
Eira, still needing to speak with Sursqueek, searches for him in order to prepare for the meeting later that morning. Based on her limited knowledge of him, will try to find any locations which he may find useful for research (in this case I guess it would be a tent with maps, almanacs, and info on the enemy), or alchemy...
Unsure if Search is necessary, if not, disregard roll. 11+1=12
If found, She will ask Sursqueek to clean himself up, and prepare for a meeting with the troops, stating that we will be announcing ourselves formally in the near future.
