Felix stood uncertainty for a moment when the grunts released their pokemon, and once again he wished he still had a snag'em machine so that he could steal that Glameow... The voice spoke up again and told him what moves Brom could use, and the meowth hybrid's ear perked up, and he grinned. "Gigi, use Gunk shot on that Glameow, Brom, use wood hammer, same target."

Gigi grinned widely, and her small body shuddered for a moment before she suddenly spit up a wad of poison gunk up at the Glameow. {{-90 hp Glameow: 50/140}}

Brom, however, ignored Felix's orders and charged at the Beautifly, flailing his tree like limbs wildly before he crashed into the butterfly pokemon. {{-40 hp Beautifly: 100/140}}

Brayden smiled, "Yeah, I see that we seem to attract trouble wherever we go," he laughed, nodding to Julian's comment with a grin. Looking to Julian offered Brayden a better look at the changes the other boy had gone through.

"Arbok?" he inquired, due to a little help from Ariadne in detecting the energy that the boy was possessing. She was rather good at reading people, something Brayden was a bit wary of at times.

"Did something happen?" he asked Julian, curious. He recalled when he, Nona, Kaya, and Chloe had a run in with Valahn, shivering a bit as he recalled the joys of being terrified of water for those months when he had turned into a Vulpix hybrid.

"Did you meet up with a blonde man who has a Togetic?" he asked Julian, unsure of where the origins of the boy's changes had occurred.

Brayden nodded, motioning to Kaya, "He's had some changes recently due to his weapon as well," he explained with a smile, motioning to the halo hovering above the prince's head.

"I still haven't really figured out how mine works," he admitted with a grimace, referring to the buckler he still had strapped to his back along with his bag.

Brayden nodded, "Yeah, your hair changed a lot," he murmured, looking to the hue change, as he took a step closer to get a better look at Julian's hair.

"Its, purple now," he said, really unsure of any other way to put it, "At first I thought it was just a play on the light," he commented, motioning to Caliga, who sniffed indignantly. It wasn't her fault her rings glowed blue.

Brayden chuckled, "But yeah, now that I got a closer look, its definitely purple," he told Julian.

Vhan sucked in his breath as he watched Requiem endure yet another hit from the Beautifly. "Come on Requiem, let's do what we can! Night Shade one more time!" he requested. Requiem nodded and sent her midnight colored beam at Beautifly once more.

Kaya sighed, seeing that Tolkis was weakening. "Come on Kiss, let's try and last this one out. I'll give you a break if we can finish this one." he told the wavering Togekiss. Kiss nodded and formed an auric ball that flickered for a moment before it stabilized. And obvious sign that her energy was declining quickly. She sent the blast at Bronzong, managing to strike it due to the balls strange tracking properties.

The grunts glared at their respective opponents for a moment before issuing their next orders. "Beautifly, use your Silver Wind once more! take this weakling out and we'll be rewarded." the female ordered her Pokemon, egging it on more. "The same goes for us Bronzong, use your Confuse Ray!" the male ordered his Pokemon.

Vhan grunted as he saw Requiem wavering before him, her form seemingly evaporating. "NO!" he screamed as he thrust her Pokeball forward, recalling the weakened Ghost before anymore harm could befall her. He thought long and hard about which of his allies he'd send out next and finally decided that Stranger would be a better bet at the moment. Aoibhinn seemed to be having some stability issues.

"Let's go Stranger, use Ominous Wind!" he cried, knowing the Drifloon knew that attack at least. Stranger nodded and summoned and eerie wind to lash out at the Bug type. {Rolled 3 for obedience.}

Kaya sighed as he saw Tolkis falling under the Bronzong's confusing spell. "Try to break it, Kiss. Use Aura Sphere once more!" he called to her, trying to get through her haze. She apparently managed to snap to long enough to do as told because she summoned a flickering ball of energy and shot it at the Bronzong without too much trouble. The attack didn't seem to be as effective as normal but it did the trick, knocking the Steel type to the ground with a scraping groan.{Rolled 4 for obedience.}

The grunts gasped in unison, never having expected Bronzong to fall so easily. "Take it and you better not lose!" the female barked at her cohort as she threw a Pokeball to him. He grunted an unintelligible response as he unleashed the Pokemon inside. "Go Golbat!" he declared, fully knowing his assigned partner's Pokemons' moves in case of this situation. "Use Bite!" he ordered. "Beautifly, use Silver Wind again!" the female ordered, knowing her Pokemon could do nothing but stall for time against this Drifloon. It was too resistant.

Vhan could only sigh in relief as he saw his Pokemon obey, but cringed as he was struck by the attack. He let out a soft breath of relief when he saw the attack had very little effect on Stranger. "Once more, my friend. Ominous Wind." he requested, thinking nothing of the Pokemon's allegiance to him. He learned otherwise when Stranger simply floated around the inside of the cave for a while.{Rolled 4 for Obedience.}

Kaya saw Stranger's reaction to Vhan and thought inwardly that that could cause problems. "Vhan, you can only hope they listen now. You don't have enough badges to control them at the moment." he informed before turning to his Pokemon ."Return, Kiss!" he said quickly as he returned the drained flier to her Pokeball. Grabbing the other from his waist sash, he sent out Tsuki. "Alright Tsu, let's see what we can do. Try and use...uh, Last Resort!" he requested of her. She thought for a moment, before nodding and dashing forward, leaping up at Golbat and letting out a massive burst of internal energy int he form of a cluster of thrashing stars that battered the bat.

The male grunt could only shake his head in defeat, knowing that he couldn't really compete with a move like that."Wing Attack, Golbat!" he ordered, watching the Pokemon comply without hesitation. The female looked to her Beautifly and got an idea. "Beautifly, new target. Use that Silver Wind on the Leafeon." she ordered, an evil smirk on her face.

"You're kidding me?" Vhan asked Kaya, incredulous. "Badges really have the power to let me control my Pokemon?" he asked as he looked to Stranger. "Ok fine then, Stranger, try again. Use Ominous Wind for me!" he requested, a slight begging tone in his voice. Stranger disregarded his trainer and lifted one of his string-like legs to poke at a slimy looking stalactite.{Rolled 2 for Obedience.}

"Ah, Tsu, be careful!" Kaya called to his Pokemon. "Use Last Resort on that Golbat one more time!" he requested of his partner. The Leafeon nodded and charged again.

Turning to Vhan, he clarified. "Badges don't have power of their own, they're symbols of Pokemon Mastery, the more you have, the easier it is to control your Pokemon. They'll understand that you're strong and you are in control and that makes them want to obey you when you issue an order or make a request." he informed as Tsuki clobbered Golbat.

The grunts nodded to one another and repeated their previous attack combo on Tsuki.

Vhan nodded to Kaya's explanation understanding better now. "Ok, if they're gonna switch it up, we are to. Stranger, use Ominous Wind on Golbat!" he requested. Stranger thought for a few moments before deciding that Vhan was worth it and attacked, sending his ghostly energy through the air to lash out at Golbat.{Rolled 3 for obedience.}

Kaya watched the Golbat fall and nodded to Tsuki. "Alright Tsu, time for a refresher. Use Synthesis!" he told his partner, the Leafeon nodded in response and her body glowed for a few moments as she absorbed the energy being emitted from Kaya's Halo. The dim light was more than enough to heal most of her wounds it seemed.

The male grunt hung his head as he returned his partners defeated Golbat. "Sorry..." was all he could groan out. "This guy was just too much for me." he lamented as he watched his partner battle. "You're completely useless. I don't know why I put up with you." the female replied as she looked to her Beautifly. "Morning Sun! Heal up so we can fight longer!" she ordered her partner, who's wings glowed brightly for a few moments as it healed itself.

Vhan sighed in relief as he saw that both his Pokemon and Kaya's were still in the battle. "Alright Stranger, Kaya needs our help. Use Sucker Punch!" he requested. Stranger nodded and lashed out with a dark energy coating his hand/thing, striking the Butterfly hard.{Rolled 5 for obedience.}

Kaya looked to Tsuki and nodded. "One last time, Tsu. We'll finish this now!" he declared, watching as his Pokemon jumped forwards and blasted the Beautifly with her star barrage.

Chloe was watching the others finish their battles, as she joined alongside Brayden and Julian.

"It really isn't all that bad," she grinned, "Its a cool color," she laughed, referring to Julian's change in hair color.

"But yeah," she nodded in reference to his question, "It seems that the weapons and armor we found are linked to Kaya's homeland," she explained, "Short version basically is that the weapons we've found are pure elemental energy. We know Kaya has grass, Bray's found the water element, and mine's dragon," she smiled.

"I assume that yours would be poison," she reasoned, "Since you're starting to take on the looks of an Arbok."

A moment of consideration later, Chloe opted to put on the gauntlets she had come across. It had seemed kinda silly to simply be toting them around in her bag, especially if she needed to figure out how they worked. Strapping on the light metal gloves, it was hard to believe that they'd be strong enough to defend against anything, but she had to admit, the almost scale-like metal links were kinda cool looking.

Felix frowned as he watched Gigi curl up into a tiny ball and fall fast asleep. He poked her with the toe of his boot, and when she snored on, he gave her up for lost for the moment. "Brom," he said sharply, an dthis time the sudowoodo seemed to realize that he had a trainer who was talking to him. He looked sheepishly at his new trainer, who continued, "Use wood Hammer on that glameow." Felix ordered.

This time, Brom saluted, and then turned around and whacked the glameow with all his strength, the effort damaging him as well.
