My first episode was Father's Day.
It was just on a random channel one day and then I wasn't able to watch it again. I'm rewatching the 2005 series.

My cousins got me into Doctor Who because they liked talking about it a lot, but the first time I actually saw it was when one of them went on the computer and showed me part of the Christmas Invasion (the bit where Ten presses the big red button and releases the control of the people with A positive blood). I was thinking like "lolwut" because I expected something really bad to happen. Back then, my mindset was "big red button+unstable person pressing=OHNOESITSTHEAPOCALYPSE"
My first full story was Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead. Now I go downstairs at 8 and flip to BBC America every Saturday.

I hadn't actually heard of doctor who until the new seasons came out. The first episode I ever saw was the first one with Rose and the manniquins.

The first one I've ever watched was... iunno, but the first time I saw it was the very ending of Parting Of The Ways from series one, where Nine regenerates, lmao, before that I didn't even know if I had the right show - cause I knew that David was the Doctor and then I saw Eccleston and was like, 'o___O' ... yeah, I thought I had the wrong show and then he changed and I was all excited, hahaha. xDD

My first episode was so long ago I don't really remember. The local PBS was running Tom Baker when I started watching. I guess since he was my first Doctor he remains my favorite. Might have been Robot, but too fuzzy to be sure. At this point I've seen all the intact episodes and some of the "lost" episodes. My favorite episode is still City of Death, even if the rubber mask was kinda cheesy. Hard to beat a Douglas Adams episode.

My very first intro to Doctor Who was the 2nd half of Planet of the Ood. First complete story was The Unicorn and the Wasp. After that, I kept watching the rest of Series 4, but now I'm going back and watching all of New Who. I just finished The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit.
I've not watched any Classic Who, which probably makes me a very bad fan indeed. It's just so hard to come by, considering there's like 26 whole seasons I wasn't even alive for...

I started watching Doctor Who late when it was already the new series. The first episode I saw was the Shakespearean Code.

My cousin tricked me into watching Runaway Bride. I spent the whole episode asking all the stupid typical questions like. "wait. his name is the Doctor? Does he ever go by anything else? And what the heck is a sonic screwdriver?" After that, I watched all of the new ones starting with Rose.

My first ever episode was Spearhead from Space. It's the entire reason I never look a shop dummy in the face for too long. Didn't know what Doctor Who was back then and just watched it out of having nothing else to do. I thought it was a movie and had no clue it was the first episode to feature the third doctor.
Dr Who is just one of those things that hook you in, no matter what episode you watch.
