"Oh, no trouble at all, Shamira. Gypsies are always happy to help travelers- we think of them as our family, related by the commonality of the open road. Here, just step up now..." she went up the two stairs to the wagon, opened the door, and lit a lantern just inside.
"This is Daggerheld. I'm sorry to have you sleep on the floor, but Pierre sleeps with me, and if we were to make a change, he'd scream all night." She placed the infant on the bed, still concerned for her strangely-acting son, and pulled a long, wide knit bag filled with goose feathers out of a cupboard under the bed that was built into the wall, and spread it out on the wood slat floor. "Here- this is for you, and I think I have some extra blankets in that cupboard as well, if you need them. Is there anything else you might need?"

Wrapping herself up in the goosefeather bag, Shamira felt her eyes drooping even more, and made a concious effort to stay awake for the woman, " Oh, this is quite all right.." but the gypsy never got to say the rest, for she had lost the battle against sleep, already snoring lightly.

"Poor thing," Em whispered, "she's exhausted. Shh, Pierre." For the boy had begun to fuss, hissing and clawing at the coverlet. She lifted him, still squirming, and took him from the wagon. She'd try and give this traveler some quiet sleep before the boy needed to sleep himself.

Outside, sitting on the steps to Mountain Air, is Caroline, rocking and humming to Rojiza. "She's been more fussy than usual today," she comments to Em. She continues to shush and make comforting Gaelic noises to her beloved daughter.

Val shook her head at Silver, "I saw nothing, it's time to stoke the fire and get to bed though."
Val put out the fire and went towards her wagon, this night had been exhausting for her. She passed Silver on her way, "My best suggestion is for you to put Aisrhan to bed if you think she is hallucinating. It may be a bad side effect of the spell. But regardless, I am going to bed. Goodnight" She went into her wagon and shut the door, falling into her bed to the world of dream.

Waking up in an unfamiliar place immediately put Shamira on alert, until she remembered the events of last night. Glancing around the wagon, the gypsy woman rose and carefully folded the bag-like thing she had been sleeping in, before stepping outside. Stretching, Shamira looked around.

((Whoops. XD Sorry about that- I missed Mene's post... o_o))
Em had spent more time the night before speaking with her friend about the strange behavior of their daughters and sons than she'd originally planned- by the time she'd returned back to the wagon, the stranger was already deep asleep. Em, at those wee hours in the morning, couldn't get to sleep with Pierre fussing and crying- and so had gone right back outside again to watch the sun rise. She was there, sitting on the bottom step of her wagon when Shamira walked out, stretching.
"Good morning, Shamira. Did you sleep well?"

Giving a little jump at the unexpected voice, Shamira quickly recognised the woman as the one that had been kind enough to house her for the night. Relaxing and putting on a smile, Shamira placed herself next to Em.
"Good morning Em, and yes I did, thank you. What about you and Pierre?"

"Oh... we got a few good hours in," Em lied, bouncing Pierre in her lap. She gave the stranger a good, long look.
"So... if you don't mind my asking- where did you come from? Are you just passing through the area?" She moved Pierre to a more comfortable position. "You must forgive our curiosity; we've been traveling through the Sheulan for so long- we've not seen others in an age."

Just as the disk of the sun rises to view the humm of magic disapates. And then there it is again, 'Snap, shock, zap, pow, click, click, fizz' the air makes those sounds. At the last fizz, the glamour is gone and the infants behavior turns back to normal, whatever normal may be. Everything appears as it should.

Quickly forgetting about the question in favour of staring at the young boy - Pierre - on Em's lap.
"Is it just me, or did that boy just change appearance?" her voice was slightly accusing, mixed with more than a bit bewilderment.
