At this, the girl growled a bit, but didn't attack him like she normally was prone to do. She had to be professional, this man had done nothing but state his feelings....Still though, Kayako didn't take kindly to such things.
"I am a teenager, not a child, and I'm perfectly capable of taking care of myself. Even someone young can stand up for what they believe in, no one's forcing me to fight....not anymore...."
She started to glare him in the eye, but abruptly turned to the side, remembering her time down in the fissure. She hadn't seen herself in a mirror yet, but she'd caught it in her reflection on one of Senturi's panels-the red circle in her eyes. This man had implied he was formerly part of the UF, that meant he had probably been exposed to Dewey's constant preaching and lies. For all she knew, he could've even lost comrades to the recent outbreak of antibodies, since he didn't mention when exactly he had quit. If he noticed her eyes he might react badly, especially if he wasn't familiar with the Novak Foundation as many weren't.
"Anyways, I already told you, my name is Kayako. Regardless of age, while you're in my presence I am your leader. Make no mistake, I'm not playing. I can't let someone who knows our location to just go waltzing off. It doesn't take much for the military to find out, even if you don't speak to them directly..."
Kayako let her eyes wander over to Mercury, ignoring the man for a moment. She wondered, faintly, if Gray would be any different now that they'd been so close to the Scub Coral.....She certainly was......

Daisuke had viewed her eyes but payed them very little attention because he quite simply didn't care. He listened to what Kayako said and began to ponder about a number of different things. "I never said that you were not capable. I admire you for standing up for what you believe in. I just feel that one so young should not have blood on their hands." He figured from the way she acted, that she had more than likely killed before.
"You say that you're my leader? So I take it that I'm being drafted into this little group of yours?" Daisuke smirked slightly because he was amused that she acted like former military herself but her age suggested elsewise. "Heh, I guess I have no choice."

"No, you don't." she replied "Someone who's seen where we are can't be running around free. I don't like doing things like this, but......The UF has someone we need to save, and I can't let anything get in the way of that."
Glancing to the side, Kayako caught sight of Silence settled off near the end of their ship.
"Asuka. I want you to watch him. Ask Medri to clear out one of the spare rooms on the lower deck, he can stay there until I see what he can do. Make sure you inform people so no one dies of shock....as if it would be new...."
In truth, Kayako just needed a break. Even she was starting to notice how she was talking; she sounded the same as she did back in the days where Kayako was simply known as "Project Kayako", a living weapon.
She didn't want to end up that person anymore...
"I'm going to my room for awhile. Keep your gun on you, Asuka...." and with that, the purple-haired girl walked away from both her friend and her hostage, leaving things in their hands. As she walked up the ramp into the ship, a mechanical whirring sound came from the hangar. If anyone would've been looking, they would've seen Senturi transform into it's vehicle mode, long after the pilot was gone...
"I know which one she means..." said Asuka, walking over to the man Kayako had brought in. As advised, she had her handgun at her side. "It's underneath the main hallways by the kitchen. I can show you when your ready..."

Daisuke looked at her and nodded. "Well then I suppose I'll be helping." To be quite honest as soon as he heard that this group would be facing off the UF he smirked slightly because to him it was another gain vengeance.
Daisuke was actually caught in awe when the LFO made a transformation on its own. "What the..." After words Daisuke, looked down at the girl reffered to as Asuka. He saw the handgun at her side. "You should be careful with those things, you know it's all fun and games until someone loses an eye."
"Hold on." He turned to his LFO remember that he had a backpack that containing what little things he owned but he remembered it wouldn't look good if he walked onto the ship with a bag full of weapons. "Nevermind, let's go."

Reiku was standing on the cat walk as he saw the new man walk in, He blinked as he watched kayako go to her room but he kept a eye on the new guy jst incase he did anything stupid or threaten to hurt Asuka. He then walked down the stair's toward's them and he stoped in the door way leading toward's the kitchen. He then walked over towards them. " You'll get use to her she did the samething to me when we first met. And im reiku and you are?" He let one of his eye's wonder over to Asuka and he gave her a insureing nod.

Daisuke looked over to see someone standing on the catwalk of the ship. "Well from what I've gathered, I really don't have a chance but get use to it." Daisuke started to loosen up a bit, despite the threats he had received he didn't view this group as enemies. "My name? It's Daisuke Miyamoto. However the few friends that I had called me Dai, so feel free."

He nodded. " oh and dont get into a fight with the french chef he'll hit you with a frying pan trust me he chased me up and down the hall's with one." He laughed and headed for his room but he stoped and looked at his LFO and shock his head he had no clue what was wrong and why they coudn't find out what was wrong with the power core.

Even though Reiku was walking away Daisuke decided to respond anyways. "Somebody me chases me with a frying pan and I'll drop kick them in the eye." Daisuke then turned around to Asuka. "That was just a joke. I really don't have any intention in hurting anyone here." He placed his hands in the pockets of his pants.

Nic had heard Reiku talking to someone and decided to go take a look as to who it was, since ther was nothing else to do. Getting up she followed the sounds and soon came upon Reiku. Nic saw someone walking away with Asuka close by. "Hey Reiku who was that?" she asked not looking away. She just wanted to be able to see there face, why she had no clue it could just be so she knew.

Asuka waved to Reiku, then started off down the hallway.
"The room is just down here. Medri and Kana-you'll meet them later-they cleaned it out earlier while Kayako and Gray were gone. I don't think your confined or anything....Kayako's not really like that. As long as your not a threat she'll like you, she's just very harsh with new recruits..."
Stopping for a moment, the redhead indicated a door to the left of them, about five feet from the entrance to the kitchen.
"That's it." she said. Thinking for a moment, she turned to Daisuke to add one last thing. "Don't worry, if she hits you or something it probably means she likes you. When I met her.....she tore up Silence and crashed me into a tree. Consider yourself lucky..."

Upstairs, Kayako had retreated to her room, not even bothering to lock the door as she usually did when she wanted to be alone. There was no reason to, everyone would be busy on the ship anyways. It was something of a miracle that Quinn and the others had managed to get the lasers to fire so soon after landing here, but there was still alot of work to do......One night wasn't really enough time to get the weapons working, was it?
The girl sat on her bed near the corner, leaned against the wall. In her hands was a medium-sized, circular silver mirror with black edges, which she stared into blankly, focused on the reflection that looked back at her. It was the first time the purple-haired girl had seen herself after being down in the fissure for so long.....she hardly realized how different she was. Sure, her features all looked normal, but....she was different. She wasn't sure how really, but the look in her eyes was different than before...and it had nothing to do with the newly connected circle of red.
Sighing, she let her hands fall to her sides, and left the mirror on the mattress in front of her. She ignored it, drew up her legs in front of her and hid her face in her.....sweater.....
"That's right." she said suddenly "Gray lent me sweater his after the coral let me go.......I guess, I'll have to go give this back after I tell the others about Daisuke....."
With that, Kayako stood up and headed for the door. She shouldn't be sulking anyways, there was no time for that....

Daisuke looked in the direction of the door that Asuka pointed out to him. "Well, I just can't wait to meet the rest of the crew." Of course he was being sarcastic but it really didn't matter anyways. " Well, then I guess I am lucky." Daisuke let out a playful that only lasted for a few seconds.
Daisuke continued his walk down the hall until he reached the room that he had soon graciously been given. Although this was the first time that Daisuke would be able to sleep in an actual bed in quite sometime. Since leaving the military he had grown quite accustomed to sleeping on the ground under the 505.
He entered the room and closed the door immediately behind him. "They better not lay a finger on the 505." Daisuke had become quite attached to the 505 because it was the only material thing that truly connected him to his past life.
He then went over to the bed and spread out on it, staring at the ceiling since to much was on his mind for him to sleep.

Quinn stretched. Not only did he not know what was going on, but he hardly cared to. Nonetheless, the ship had apparently taken on some excess baggage, something that would need to be kept under close watch--something that he would probably need to announce.
Grrr... I hate using the intercom when it isn't something personal, moaned the pilot. His hand did a slight roll before one of the digits on said hand hit the button.
"Crrrrck, this is your captain speaking, crrck. It appears that we've taken on a new member to our little entourage, so we would appreciate it if you all made him feel welcomed and at home. Also, crrck, we would like you all to make sure not a second passes by in which he isn't under surveillance. You know what these hotshot LFO pilots are like, crrck.
Oh, and finally, I would like to announce something. From here forthwith, this vessal will be called, 'The Ragnarok'! I'm signing the official papers as we speak, crrck."

Daisuke was still on laying down on his bed, when the annoncement was made. He said the first thing that had come to his mind, even though no one was in the room to hear it. "Nothing makes a guy feel more welcomed than being under constant watch."
He sighed slightly then sat up. He only wished that he knew the UF had abandoned this base earlier, since he was only in the area to once again be a thorn in the paw of the mighty lion known as the UF. Although the thought that this group might fight against the UF was the only thing that gave him comfort.

He stoped and looked at nic as she asked him the qustion. " His name is Daisuke Miyamoto but his friends call him dai for short." He then walked back into his room and turn on the desk light and started to doodle cause he was boerd.

Nic nodded at Reiku as he walked away, He doesn't seem very social... she thought to herself. Hearing what Quinn said over the speaker she just looked at the ground and shook her head. "And this hunk of metal now has a name." She said aloud to no one in particular and turned to walk out of the ship. Looking around at some of the people who had come back in from the antibodies.
