Cerus smiled and gave Kendra a gentle nudge with his nose. "Of course I do... I don't think I could lead a tribe... I wouldn't mind being a hunter...." He trailed off, his eyes now fixed on Kendra's swishing tail.

She giggled after she got out of the water. "Your welcome." she smiled then followed him. Here bottom half was still a bit wet and felt weird compared to her dry half.

Kendra smiled shyly and then said, "Well, if you ever want, there's a place for you in the Lazuli Tribe." Her eyes flicked to the tattoo on her hindquarters, and decided to change subjects, not wanting to seem like she was pressuring him or anything.
Kendra stopped swishing her tail and her ears perked up as she heard the voices of some other foxes. One of them sounded like Toki's. She flattened herself to the ground, and wondered if they would find Cerus and herself here.

Just a bit past the river bank, there was a hill, which Ari climbed up, promising himself he would go no further.
Although, when he saw the vast clearing below him, stretching from the lake to mountains in the distance, it was hard to keep himself from going down there, to keep himself from claiming that space as his own. He didn't know if he would fit in with the Lazuil tribe yet, and maybe he could join them, and stay with his friend.

Cerus smiled broadly, delighted at Kendra's offer. He sad Kendra suddenly flatten herself to the ground and her ears pricked up, catching the sounds of voices on the breeze. He groaned slightly. Despite starting this journey to find others, he was quite happy where he was now.
"You hear them too, huh...?" He asked Kendra, failing to mask the disappointment in his voice.

"Yeah, I hear them." The lacking of tone in Kendra's voice was as apparent as Cerus'. She closed her eyes and lay there, trying to will the others away. After a minute or so she realized it wouldn't work, and decided not to waste whatever time left they would have alone. She sat up again and faced Cerus, saying, "Oh well, can't stop the inevitable..."

Cerus sat up a little more with her. He wasn't that much taller than her, he noticed, as she sat nearly at eye level with him. He couldn't help but smile as he leant forward and gave her a gentle nuzzle. "Well, regrardless of how little time we spent up here, I can't deny I enjoyed every second...."

Rendo walked carefully in the shadows, his eyes adverted down and watching to make sure he didn't step on something that could hurt him. He didn't want to get hurt or hurt something since he was adverted then. "The forest is come..." He wisperd to himself quietly.

Kendra's ears perked up as she heard Cerus say exactly what she had been thinking, but she had been too afraid to vocalize it. It was much easier for her to say, "Me too," in reply. Kendra nuzzled back, then got up and prowled up the hill a little ways, and then looked down at Cerus, sitting there alone, not wanting to ruin the moment, but fearing she already had.

Cerus heaved a sigh and got up, padding over to stand beside Kendra. "So... shall we go find out who interupted?" He smirked before giving her a wink. He set off down the hill towards the bed of water she had earlier pushed him into.

"Sure," she said, but it was too late, he had already started off towards the river. She giggled to herself, thinking of when she had pushed him into it. She followed his footsteps down to the water front.

Cerus couldn't stop his gaze from drifing over his shoulder, neither could he stop the grin that followed as his eyes set on the navy-coloured Modi behind him. He had been incredibly lucky to meet Kendra that day and even luckier that she had agreed to walk with him. It had been the perfect day, with the perfect company... He smiled to himself as he turned his head forwards again, reaching the pond at the bottom of the hill.

Kendra arrived at the pond shortly after Cerus, pondering about what his smile was for. She looked left and right, and didn't see anyone else. She left out a sigh of relief. "Well, looks like nobody's around here..." She voiced her thoughts, and then looked down into the pond, scooping up a guppy with her paws and tossing it into her mouth, chewing, swallowing, then licking her lips.

Toki followed Ari-kun. "Wow. Ari-kun did you know about this place? it's so pretty. Can we come back here one day?"

"Of course," he said, wondering if Toki knew what he was thinking, his plans of claiming the land for his own tribe.
"But we should probably start heading back now."
They had been gone for long enough, and he still needed to watch over his little sister. Maybe see if he could get her away from Heartbreak, if she hadn't decided to leave Heartbrake and the other kit already.
