Cosmic_Hobo I would like to see Romana or an equally intelligent Timelady make an appearance or possibly even tag along for a few episodes. Of course that requires some of the Timelords/ladies to have survived in the first place... They better have, really. I don't care how or why or where, but some of them had better survive.

Freaj Cosmic_Hobo I would like to see Romana or an equally intelligent Timelady make an appearance or possibly even tag along for a few episodes. Of course that requires some of the Timelords/ladies to have survived in the first place... They better have, really. I don't care how or why or where, but some of them had better survive. It could happen, I think. In "Dalek", the Doctor revealed he'd killed all the Timelords and Daleks, but in "Doomsday" (this was after SciFi moved to a channel I couldn't get access to and before I really discovered YouTube, so I don't know if the Daleks survived the Time War or are new, remade ones or something) there were Daleks left. Considering that, couldn't there be the possibility of survivors from the other side? It would be sad if the Doctor's old mentor who appeared in "Planet of the Spiders" (K'anpo Rinpoche/Cho Je) died in the Time War sad

Unless it was some sort of time/space disease/weapon that the Doctor used, I don't see what could keep him from going back or one (or many) of them to have been out and about at the time. Of course the full story of the time war was never told either and would be good for a movie or a spin-off of several seasons.

they would have to change thier outfits though...the other ones look silly by todays standerds...

Some of those costumes are incredibly bizarre....and some are just really cool. A bizarre one that sticks in my mind is the viking-type outfit that Four comes out of the TARDIS in 'Robot', his first episode..I think there's some links lying around here somewhere...

Bizarre would be anything worn during the Six Doctor's era, no offence to the Doctor - he's great - his wardrobe choice, EVERYONE's wardrobe choise O.o But my favourite costumes are the b&w robots. WATCH OUT! It's a cardboard box! rofl

A fourth series of Doctor Who has already been commissioned, and Davies is putting the finishing touches to scripts for Christmas 2007. His work here is - almost - done. When he does leave, it will be with happy memories, especially of the day the Doctor returned, on 26 March, 2005. 'That afternoon,' he says, 'I went into town, shopping and pottering about. There was a buzz in the air. I felt like I was eight years old again. It was like "Mum's dragged me to town, and I've got to get home because Doctor Who's going to be on". I'll never forget that feeling. As long as I live.'
... Does that mean he's leaving after series 4 then? I hope they get someone better...
