<> The pilot said > The tower responded and the helicopter took off. The pilot turned to Goldbrease. "Welcome aboard, sir. I am Airman Sam Davidson, SAR pilot" He said introducing himself. "What's your name?"

Ashika wandered the halls looking for Blue Knight. He wanted to know what was going and why the city was in flames and stuff like that. He knew that he would have to fight but he didn't think that he would have to fight his fellow Gaians. "Guard, do you know where Blue Knight is?" He asked a passing guard. "I don't know but she might be down in the interrogation room." Ashika nodded and walked down to the interrogation room and looked for Blue Knight.

*gold pulls off his helmet, revealing his metalic gold hair and amber eyes, and looks at sam*
Hello sam, i'm goldbrease, and yes this is my natural hair color 3nodding .
don't worry i wasn't jumping at you, i get asked that fairly often by GNG personel who have not met me yet so i'm used to it.

so why were you guys dropping of wounded? i haven't heard anything as ive been in my little shop all day finishing this.
*points to the oddly futureistic rifle he is carrying*

Sam laughs and looks at Goldbrease. "It is a pleasure to meet you sir. I am glad that I can help you." Sam said with a smile. "I don't really know the details but it seems that we are under attack by insurgent forces of unknown origin. We have been doing the best we can rescuing civillians that have been hurt by this battle." He looked at the control panel with a sad look on his face "I don't understand why anyone would attack us. As far as I knew we were on good terms with all of our neighbors." He said with a sigh and then smiled again "Well at least I know that I am doing some good with what I am doing. Anyways, Where do you need to go?"

well yah can drop me in a combat zone or at the gn shipyards... however there is someplace that has caught my attention but i don't know if you would have the fuel, I picked up a large concentrated energy reading and it disapeared around cords. 23.917 its south east of gambino island.
*pulls up a holoscreen map with a dot indicateing the location in the ocean and fingers the controls on his palm computer and it moves over to sam*
do you know if anything is out there?

[Daniel - Real Work - Places and Stuff]

He cut the engine as he rumbled up to a small dock, in a residential neighborhood on Gambino. It was still dark out, everything was quiet, not even a dog barking. And all these nice, upper middle class sea side homes. Most of them just a single story, occasionally a double. Laws about blocking the ocean view and all. They were all dark. No security lights, no invincible mafia base defenses. Just a nice, sleepy area, filled with people too rich and comfortable to worry about all the bad things out there.

Daniel's face split into a grin. Perfect place, he thought, as he stashed the bike behind a hedge. The house hiding behind it looking like it hadn't been occupied in months. Probably a vacation home. No one there. Should be safe enough.

With that in mind, he started out, towards the shore, between two homes. One a garish orange color that looked like it hadn't been repainted in decades, the other one that seemed to be made of natural, treated, wood, no paint. Though it could have been mock.

Not that he particularly cared. He kept moving forward, crouched low to the ground, hands kept close to himself, picking out a quiet path through the yard between the homes. Avoiding the pine tree, and any pinecones that might have crunched beneath his boot. Avoiding the brambles that he'd have to tramp through. He found a slender trail, leading right down to the shore.

And one of the rich home's private little dock. Tied up there, a boat that looked like it was built for a midlife crisis. No fishing scow here. Might have been an old racing sloop design in fact.

But he hardly knew about boats... just enough to get them where he needed to go, without blowing them up.

He worked quickly and silently on the docks, waves lapping against timber and ship. It all was fairly simple. He freed the boat, he hopped right in... and found the keys right in the ignition. Rich people. They forget all about thieves. Probably had tied a few too many off and barely managed to tie it up.

Well, that made his job easier. He slowly opened up the throttle, keeping the engine quiet, a dull rumbling as he slowly pulled out to sea. Barely going 5 miles per hour. He kept that slow speed, bouncing with the incoming waves until he was a safe enough distance, in his mind, not to be heard.

Then, he opened it up fully, and sped off towards the East, the hull skipping from wave to wave, bouncing violently as it shot off towards that small little island where Vic took his rest.

[Gaia Organized Petroleum Exchange Company Rig #5]

A swaying motion...it felt so nice to be moving this way. This feeling underneath her hands, smooth yet bumpy...a little misty, and somewhat of a plastic sensation to it. Leather-grained vinyl. There was mist on her face, cool and refreshing, wet little pinpoints on her cheeks and neck. The breeze was nice too, gently caressing her hair away from her eyes, dragging the tips with the lightest of rasping sensations over her skin. Her right side... she could feel the hairs stand on end. A weird, ticklish sensation faintly tracing throughout her body.

The air felt damp, carrying with it the gentle roar of the sea. The sea? There was a confusing crackling in the air she couldn't place... and that was either seagulls or metal being ground, or something. It was dark, and she wanted nothing more than to stay in this position, comfortably sleeping. Her left hip needed a bit of pressure let off of it though, and so she shifted slightly.

Vic Voltage did not see it. He was too busy wrestling with the electricity. "Too much damn metal on these rigs. Wonder what's wrong with them. Wood's a perfectly good building material. Nice...sturdy. Hell, what's not to love?" he muttered to himself while not bothering to look about. He stood with his arms apart and held outward, a glowing golden sphere the size of a basketball woven between them. Tendrils flashing out from one hand to the other occasionally, the highly ionized air sparking each time the charged motes collided with a speck of mist. It was needless to say quite the lightshow, a phenomenon that kept the attention of the two workers and one boss on the rig.

"Come on baby, gimme the real s**t. Premium high octane." He continued muttering to himself, as the ball continued to grow in size. The Rig's lights flickered, then went out. It was far from dark however, what with the still expanding electric globe floating above the deck. Should be done soon, he figured, but it'll be slow going bringing the electrical ball off the rig.

"23.917...hmmm....I haven't seen anything out there but I have never been called out there. " Sam said "I'll get you there no problem though. I can do this blindfolded, not that anyone would want me to or anything. Sergei, get on the left minigun, anyone shoots at us you hit them hard. Give Goldbrease here cover fire if he needs it as well. Lopez you get on the right one. You know the drill. All right people @$$holes and elbows, move like you got a purpose!" Sergei, got on his minigun and before loading the rounds he made sure that the battery for spinning the barrels was charged. Once that was done he loaded the ammo and smiled. "Anyone tries to get us, they get 7.62 in the face." Sergei said. Lopez did the same and loaded his ammo. "Locked, cocked and ready to rock!" Guys, remember that this is a SAR chopper and we don't fire indiscrimnately." Sam said and check his coordinate with his copilot. After a few moments he turned to Goldbrease. "Ten minutes out, Goldbrease." Sam said "We are going in hot so you may want to check your gear. That does look like some expensive tech. Just in case you were wondering we approach every situation as if we are going to be attacked so we are not caught unaware. Oh and here." He handed a can over to him. "This is tradition for us. Whenever we transport a squad of SpecOps or soldiers we give them this." The can said Whoop a** brand chili(TM). "Open up a can when and if you see the enemy"
PostPosted: Sun Apr 01, 2007 8:15 pm

*gets the can of chilli and does the zeldaish obtained item move with the can rotateing in the air*
i open the can when i see the enemy? ok hehe. i'll keep that in mind.

in a fast movieng helicopter it will be dificult to find a satelite to link to..... ah!
computer scan all radio frequencys and chanels and play any findings.
~computer beeps and responds, begining searches~

yes it is some tech, wish i had more money, then i could make this little computer do alot more and have betetr sensors.

Talon the Seraph

[GN Base at Port de Gambino - Detention Block - Private Johnny O'Connel]

Private O'Connel walked down the hall of the detention wing, eyes sweeping each side of the hall trying to find the room with the newly aquired prisoner.

He finally found a door with two armed MP guards standing on each side of it and figured that this was the place.

He stood there nervously for a moment, waiting for one of the guards to notice him, which didn't happen. Johnny had never really stood out at all during the past two years of service, but this was rediculous, it was like the MP was looking straight through him.

"Ahem..."

The private cleared his throat, trying to get the guard's attention, it was no good though.

"Ahem..." Again clearing his throat to no avail, so he decided to do something a little more "drastic" to get the guards attention, he decided to speak...

"Excuse me, Captain Rivers sent me down to begin questioning our new guest." He was lying of course, but the guard wouldn't know that until the Captain appeared, and by then phase two of the plan would have been completed.

[GN Base at Port de Gambino - Armory - Private Talon Hyoji]

Talon walked through the double sealed blast doors that led to the armory which closed behing him with an air-tight "swish" sound. Looking around he stood in amazement for a moment before he decided to find a technichian who could find a new helmet to fit his armor's systems.

[GN Base at Port de Gambino - Detention Block Area]

The guard glanced at the man's rank insignia, but otherwise only stated, "Right. Hold on a moment while I clear it." Like most MPs on this base, he was dressed in CVR-3, that bulky mostly lime-green armor that was originally built to interface with the Cyclone variable power armor systems. The white helmet that accompanied the armor was currently removed, laying on a recessed shelf to the MP's side. The room he stood in was big enough for only two people, and only if one of them stood to the side. Behind him was a one person wide corridor through which could only barely be seen the actual detention block.

The detention block was built out of heavy duty materials, likely plascrete and warship-grade metal plating, and there were two more MPs present: one of which also geared up in CVR-3, the other wearing a drab green robe with upraised silver runes tracing the collar, shoulders, and hem. Clasped in his hands was a gnarled wooden stave, and his face was darkly obscured by a pointed leather hat with a wide brim. The only features of his face that could be seen were the two glowing, golden ovals where his eyes should be. He was an oddity here, as GNG bases were widely known to employ powerful magic-suppressing fields.

The CVR-3 MP closest to Johnny held a stun baton at his side, while the one within the Detention Block clasped a Mark 7 GPAR. There were doors that could only be glimpsed from the Private's position, presumably leading into cells or interrogation chambers. The doors appeared to be non-metallic, solid, and thick, with no visible hinges. Each one bore a rune in the center which shimmered like the surface of oil.

Ashika Kept looking in the interrogation rooms but found noone by the name of Blue Knight. "Crap. She must be elsewhere." He said to himself but decided to make himself useful. He saw someone that he recogonized from ASDF and decided to go say hi. "Sayoko, what are you doing here?" he said to his friend. "Just doing my regular job as security officer." She said to him. She had a pistol in a holster and on a pistol belt. "So what excitment did you have?" Ashika smiled and said nothing. "Well I got to go and do some work around here so I will see you later." He said to Sayoko. "Stay safe." She said in response. You have no idea how good an idea that is. Ashika thought to himself as he left.

Over the vast expanse of ocean Sam was flying and enjoying it. He had some time to clear his head over the recent events and clear his mind. He turned to Goldbrease and asked him a question. "Sir if I may ask, these coordinates...what do you think is there?" Sam asked curiously "I mean I flew here before the whole mess started and I never saw anything suspicious before."

not sure realy. the energy was high enough thou that it would have been like a thrunder storm packed into a quarter sized area, or an entire electrical transformer junktion overloading and exploading, or someone set of a nuke, these are the first things i can think of. an unshielded unclear generator could also posibly give of an energy signal that big but anything around it would most likely be killed so thats unlikely.
and considering how long I was able to read the signal and the progress that it moved, they are all unlikely. and thats partialy because there is not a thunderstorm out here.
since were getting closer if whatever is out here still is giveing off energy or gaining energy back I should be able to pinpoint it. the closer it is the less powerful the signal needs to be to pick it up again.

[GN Base, Port De Gambino, Detention Block Area]

A sudden alarm went off in the detention block, only suddenly and then died down as the system on each door went through its regular self-diagnosis checking the electronic lock system [while staying locked] and just as suddenly as it started it would go quiet, the random check happening every few hours or so in order to prevent a gradual attempt at degrading the lock to escape.

More guards were not far behind in the Detention block most of them carrying Pulse rifles with M607 AUGL's attached to improve the weapons effectiveness.. though carrying the man portable b*****d child of a railgun and a machine gun was a pretty effective weapon alone. An under slung pump action grenade launcher was merely a cherry on top.

It was of note to mention that just short of where the guards were standing another pair carrying just such an armament and a light suit of powered armor stood at the T section of that hallway and at the other end of the H-shaped hallway was again another pair... there were no shortage of SP's on duty today...

[GNV Edana]
"well knock me down and call me shirley, we've just been raped..." The captain was not exactly glad of this fact as he and several dozen marines stood on the docks staring at the unconscious Monolitch hanging upside down by its tail. though ti had taken awhile the Cruiser GNV Scorpio was finally to battle station as was less than 50 meters from the Edana its gun sight in on the monster.

"So what do we do now?" there wasa chorus of half responses, half questions mostly behind him saying 'kill it?!' or 'drown it!' in some odd monotone murderous chorus, but the Captain ignored it.

"Foam it and then secure it to the outer plate, and well just take the whole dang outer plate off with him...err... it? on it..."

And so with more than enough firepower beaded on the beast the dockworkers began to cover it in a structural foam to essentially glue monolith to the armor. provided he stayed out they would cover him in enough rebar and austenic steel braces to contain a nuke, his head the only thing left exposed.

[GN Base- Armory]
"OI! this is a secured area, lets see some friggen papers!"

A man standing on the other side of a fenced in area said, the floor of the armor being a massive concrete are open on both sides with two large ramps leading down to it, it was easily the size of a football field, and there were two other doors, obviously blast doors sveral hundred tons (atleast) on opposite ends of the room, two small 'cages' stood to either side to handle lower end weapon releases, while a group of SP's in power armor did their daily PT with the servos turned off, the men straining against the 50 or so kilos of armor with no servo support.

The Man from the gages yelling didnt even stir the SP's who were too busy doing un augmented push ups, but their leader did glance over at him curiously.
