Oh, really?
I tried to "charge" it once on my Windows 98 laptop...But nothing seemed to happen. Please explain how it would charge up w/o I-tunes.

You plug the iPod into the computer. The computer will automatically recognize the iPod as a hard disk through the USB connection and it will thus be charged.

Don't feel bad, Shibbs. I'm sure there are babies out there deprived of the joys of portable mp3s.
Speaking of iPods, I installed the software on this laptop to recognize my iPod. Turns out that everything on it got erased, and now I have to download, one by one, all my songs again.

Shibbs, I used to feel apathetic toward i-Pods and the people who had them too. But now since I have one, I don't really feel that way anymore.
However, I still get pissed when spoiled little bastards want to use Daddy's money to buy the latest and greatest i-Pods. I'm sure that there will be plenty spoiled kids who used the Bank of Dad to buy the i-Phone when I get back to school.
