Clana is a brain-dead patient, unknowingly, stubbornly, clinging to that hope that the life they once had—a life that served no real purpose, making the now-comatose state much desired—can be reclaimed through some wishy-washy make believe “I-Love-You-teen-angst/drivel/puke inspiring garbage”.
Unfortunately, the fearful surgeons and money grubbing lawyers with their loud, long winding speeches of giving things a fair chance, refuse to let this tortured soul pass away into the final and deep sleep.
They (the surgeons, lawyers, and others who back their aggravating and very cruel stance) are blind—whether this is willingly or not, I’ve yet to decide—to the protests of the few (or many, it depends) enraged outcries of the sensible, logical, still sane public.
PS: This does not mean that I wish for brain-dead patients to die.
PPS: Those were metaphors, analogies, whatever stuff.
PPPS: This was a rant, meaning, plain and simple: cut the crap already, please. Smallville is trying enough as it is. ><
PPPPS: No offense to anyone, of course.

Let me clarify. Clana may be dead. Gone forever, who knows? Only the writers obviously. But Lexana is a sin in my book and needs to be condemned.
Heck, bring back psycho Jason and Whitney's ghost for all I care. Let Lex be evil, embrace his destny and stop looking for love with Lana.

PS: That's my rant. Lex started his descent into evil supposedly in Season Three, and since then he’s still falling. Now, I don’t know about any of you, but what little I know of gravity and physics demands that from such a great height, no living, breathing, entity can survive. When—and if—Lex completely embraces his dark side, instead of witnessing the birth of the chilling heir to the Luthor name that we have been waiting for, we will instead be left staring with disappointment and disgust at the bloody smears and mangled bones of the Son of the Devil. My point? Simple: so many promises have been made, what with Lex turning evil and Clark taking the steps onto his ultimate destiny been issued, tasty bits of food given to us by the oh-so-generous producers—but what if there is no main dish, no meal for us hungry viewers to feast on? That is what concerns me. Sixth season and we still have unnecessary stuff bogging down SMALLVILLE. Think big, people. ^^
