Reiha pulled back, to let Erik do his dad thing. She craweled over to Korbin, holding him softly as she curled up slgihtly, giving Korbin a soft kiss as she watched Berial. His arm was moved again. Why was it moving? It moved before...last time he cried.
"Does your arm hurt too?" Reiha asked suddenly when she moved closer, looking at his arm, "Your mark is moving" she pointed it out. "And it moved last time you cried"

He nodded.. The mark hurt too.. "'m sorry.. I did't mean.. I didn't mean to scare you.." He said, cluthcng onto Erik' dress shirt.
Erik frowned deeply. He had tried to put it off due to his own fear of doctors but he couldn't anymore.. He'd have to take Berial to the doctor tommorow. Maybe a Gaian doctor would know what was wrng with his boy.. "it's okay Berial. you didn't scare her.. it wasn't your fault.."

Reiha moved forward, closer to Berial putting her hand on his shoulder. "It wasn't you Berial. It was me. I was the one who thought of the story. It was my memories that triggered it. It had nothing to do with you and nothing you could of done would of stoped it. These things just happen. We can't remember what happened before the train and aparently something bad happened to me but it's okay because I have a good life now. I have you and Korbin and other friends who like me and wnat to play with me and I'm never alone. You didn't cause it Berial but you make it better. Remember you're protecting me from that. With every smile you give me. Every laugh you feel. It all makes me happy and that means I don't have room to be scared or remember dark things because I'll be too busy laughing and smiling too"

He could make it better.. He needed to make it better.. He forced himself to smile, looking at Reiha, the smile weak, but there. "I.."
He was interupted b the doorbell. Erik jumped, startled.. "I.. uh.. it's the pizza.." He said, glancing at the two kids.. "I.. stay here.." He said, and dashed quickly to pay the man.. He did need to feed them after all.
Berial started to lagh softly at Erik's face. He was amusing. As he laughed the mark stopped it's movements, slowing gradually before halting entirely (though if you looked closely, it may have appeared to have grown). "I'll make you happy, Reiha.."

Reiha smiled as Berial relaxed and she was glad that his mark stoped moving (she didn't notice it had grown). She moved closer, setting Korbin to the side as she gave Berial a tight hug. Her head rested on his shoulder lovingly.
"You already make me happy Berial" she whispered to him, smiling up at him. "You're my best human friend." of course Korbin was always her best friend the top most person in her heart. But Berial was close, he was so kind and sweet and cared so much for her. She wasn't use to that.
Korbin watched, he never seen Reiha act that like. Oh sure she be plenty loving to him, stroking and hugging him close but so touchy with other people? Other humans? That was so odd and different for her.She hated touching. She seen the way she would do her best to make sure she didn't have to touch anyone. Adian, Erik, strangers, and yet she touched Berial more in this one night then she had touched Adian willingly for her entire stay with him.
Who was this little boy? And what did he do?

Berial smiled a bit wider as she smiled.. SHe wasn't sad anymore. Hugging her back, gently the pain he'd felt before ebbed away into nothingness, almost so that he forgot about it entirely.
At her decalration he beamed and smiled. "You're my best friend too.." He said.. They had each other now, and neither of them would ever have to be alone...
Erik returned quickly, a pizzabox in his arms. "Well, the food's here for whoever is hungry." He said, laying the pizza box down on a table by the fish tank. Looking over at the two kids, he sighed softly, pushing his glaasses up.. This was one fo the times he was glad for the cold tile floors in his home.. It made the spill much easier to clean.

Reiha smiled, glad that he was happy again. She turned, reaching for Korbin, not wanting her crow to think she didn't care anymore. For one long moment she just held Korbin and Berial close. Smiling to herself happily before she finally pulled away.
"I'm going to clean up my mess okay Berial?" she handed Korbin to the boy, "Will you hold Korbin for me?" she asked but didn't wait for an answer before she ran off.
Korbin knew what Reiha was doing. She wanted her best friends to be friends. Honestly the crow liked Berial more than the average person. Because he kept on crying for Reiha and that meant he really cared but it wasn't like the kid could understand the crow or anything.

Berial held the crow gingerly in his hands, lookign down at it, ebore looking up at the pizza. "Do you liek pizza too, Korbin?' He asked, smiling down at the bird.

Korbin looked up at Berial tittling his head to the side and then flapped his wings slightly. He wasn't trying to get away it was just how he communicated. It was his form of a shrug. He, like Reiha, would eat anything. he was a scavanger after all, like Reiha, but he never had pizza. He prefered breath products though, and things covered in grease was good.

Berial didn't fully understand this as a yes or a no, so he jsut got up and moved towards the box.. Setting Korbin gently down on the table next to the box he picked upa slice of pizza. "You can tyr it if you want." He ofered, ripping of the tip and holding it out to the crow.

Korbin cooked his head to he side and then reached out carefully grabing the pizza tip, he tossed it into the air and swallowed it. He cocked his head to the other side and then nodded.
"Good" he cawed out uselessly. It wasn't like Berial could understand though Korbin fluttered over, landing on Berial's blighted arm, wanting more pizza to be fed to him.
Reiha smiled as she cleaned up her mess. Korbin liked Berial, that was good. She didn't want any stress between the door. Reiha finnished cleaning her mess before she came back to Berial, wnating some pizza of her own after all.

Berial grinned. Korbin ahd liked it! Tearing off another piece of his pizza, he fed it to Korbin.. He could wait to eat.. "You like it then?" He asked, even though he knew he couldn't understand.. It jsut seemed polite.
Lookign ovr as Reiha came back, he smiled at her. "I'm hope you like the mushrooms." He said.

"I never had them before" she said with a shrug, reaching over to grab the pizza. She took a few bites and nodded her aproval. It was pretty good. Reiha bet it would taste better with both though. Those two different tastes would be intresting together. She liked the cheese though. It was so greasy.
Korbin continued to eat but didn't need much more. After all he had went hunting and he was only one kill away from being full. (He of course hunted things like bugs and small rodants.) So he only needed a few bites of pizza before he was full and flapped up to nest in Reiha's hair.

Berial smiled lookign down at the piece of pizza in his hands before moving to take a bite before it was snatched away from him.
"wash your hands first.." Erik said dutifully, remembering how his mother (and his nanny as well) had been so adamant about hand washing.
Berial nodded. He'd almsot forgotten. "Okies!" He said and dashed off..
Erik watched him go, finally takign a slice for himself and taking a bite. he silence unnerved hima bit and eh looked over at Reiha.. "so you like m cooking?" He attempted to joke.

Reiha didn't need to wash her hands as she cleaned up her mess and ended up using the sink so she already did technicly. Not to mention that Erik didn't control her. So she wouldn't of listened even if she should have. Just to prove she didn't have too.
Now though she just ate her pizza happily as she smiled up at her crow, then glanced over at Erik as he spoke. She was chewing so he had to wait though a long pause as she watched him with wide eyes.
"It's delicious Erik" she said with a smile.
