Sunray trotted, and then gallopped as she leapt into the air and flapped her large wings. Sunray started making a beeline for Rideron, though it would take a week, maybe two weeks, to get there. It was quite far away. Marilla wanted to get to Rideron to help fight in the battle. She knew it was taking place soon, and also, she didn't really want to stay in Alteron City anyway.
((Okay. Then maybe I will "race the huge army." Oh, I got an idea! How about I pretend that the earlier posts were actually describing what happened a week ago. And then, I can just say something like 'then a week later Marilla arrived at Rideron.' That might work...Anyway, I think I want to go to Rideron! Not Southbound...))

(DONT HAVE ZANE KILL EM ALL BEFORE WE GET THERE JEEZE. and yea that 1 week ago thing would work lol, hows for throwing yourself in lol.)
Getting to the centre castle gates passing all the civilians, stopping at entrance where the drawbridge has been closed.
"I am Zaven Messanger from Devils peak, I demand to speak to your prince!"
"On what grounds! We have several archers cocked and ready to have you removed as a threat."Replies a hidden voice.
"I am a friend of your old king. I must speak to the prince!"
Raising one hand
"Open the Gate!"
Pulling down his hand swiftly while turning it into a fist, the gate crashes down at his feet.
The 3 men run into the castle with the princess closly behind with her band of men.

((Sorry, though I doubt any one person could take out a sizable chunk of an army that was 3 years in the making!))
The queen noticed a disturbance in the front lines. With a swish of her hand and a quick spell, Zane was forcefully flung towards her then forcefully stopped right in front of her. He levitated above the army, just above the eye level of the queen. "You! Take the city and leave the forest!" Zane yelled at the queen. The queen sarcastically pretended to think for a moment, then replied, "No." Zane struggled to attack her but her magic was too strong. Then a messenger came to the queen and told about Zaven and the others. "Zaven as well? We will handle him." she said, as a grim smile played her face. "By the way, you are now a threat. Don't return or you will be eliminated." the queen said as she swished her wrist once more and Zane was tossed far into the forest.
Zane was moving at a blinding speed. He had gravely underestimated the queen's magic. When he landed he hit a tree hard, then landed hard on the mossy floor. He was still consious(sp?) however, and stood up, rubbing his head. 'We need a god to handle her,' he thought, as he turned to a bird and headed towards the castle to meet up with the princess.

(I hope Zanes blind fury wasnt stopped THAT fast lol..and well...a god will be hard to find hah)
Zaven and the other 2 enter the castle seeing several different paths, and with no desire to destroy the castle finding the king, Zaven twists his wrists to signal to split up. Feeling they are very unwanted currently in the castle they use there elusivness to dip and doge around guards, with a hit of cloaking magic to allow the guards to think they 'might just be seeing things'.

So, Marilla and Sunray were off on their journey to Rideron to help fight in the battle. They flew for 12 hours each day, and made steady progress.

One week passed, and Sunray soon landed on the outskirts of Rideron. Marilla wondered if they would be let in easily... Anyway, Marilla was still sitting atop Sunray when she instructed, "Go on now; let's enter!" They made their way to the outer walls of Rideron and were soon let in.
((Sorry; I wasn't sure if there were walls or not..or guards on the outside. So I can edit this post, if you want.))

Regin quickly stopped behind a tree as he saw Zane fly through the air and the Devil Peak army continued to march,"Oh man..."

Aurora enters the castle behind Zaven, still riding the stag. "Mother would have never approved," she mumbled to herself. "You! Sir! What are you doing?" She shouted at Zaven as she came up behind him. At the same time she signaled for a couple servants to come up. "Take this message to our fastest messengers: Rideron is under attack, tell the towns people prepare to fight and prepare to retreat." she instructed. They bow and ran off. Another servant ran up to her. he was about to say something when she cut him off. "Bring me the falcons, all of them," she said in a no nonsense tone. Aurora winced as the pain of her injury increased.
((the end of the semester is coming up whcih means finals week is arrving. EEk! I'm not going to be on very much in the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just thought I should let you all know.))

The opther 2 men allready lost up the towers, Zaven looks back at the Princess. "Trying to find the new king!"

Marilla held onto Sunray's white mane loosely, and looked around herself at the city. She had never been to Rideron before; this was her first time. At least, this was the first time she could remember. Sunray trotted through the streets rather slowly. Marilla wasn't sure what she could do to help Rideron, and she examined some of the other people and citizens. They seemed to be staring at Sunray. Sunray snorted quietly to Marilla, as if she was showing her unease with the staring. Marilla stroked Sunray's mane quietly and whispered, "It's okay...ignore the stares..." Marilla wondered if the people around Rideron had ever esen a pegasus before.

Regin slowly ran deeper into the forest so he would get out of the sight of the army and than he quickly ran towards the direction of the castle.

Marilla let out a heaving sigh as she gently kicked Sunray when Sunray had slowed down to a very slow walk. Sunray sped up her pace to a canter, and ran closer to the direction of the center of Rideron, also known as the castle grounds. Marilla wondered if it was true that there was an enormous Devil Peak army; it probably was true.

(Apperently theres supposed to be like HUGE birds with the devils peak army that you should be able to see by now hah)
Turning away from the princess, Zaven runs down the corridor, reciting "Prepare for battle Devils peak is among us!"
Lighted by torches, and line with silks Zaven aquires what might be his last tase of civilized economy. Running down the corridor, coming to a large room, with 2 guards in the doorway.
approaching the entrance at an alarming speed the knights ready there halabards. Zaven vanishes and appears behind them, now in the Larg room. now at a walking pace,"Your majesty I trust you have prepared an army to rival Devils peak, whom is at your kingdoms wall!" Zaven exclaims to the prince. Then wistling sharply the other 2 soldiers key into the whistle and turn around heading down to zavens location.
(Dose anyone want to play the Prince, or any objections i can always play the prince as well.)

Marilla looked up into the skies and gasped. Sunray followed Marilla's gaze, and let out a stifled, slightly frightened, whinny. Marilla patted Sunray on an ear and whispered, "'Tis okay, girl...'tis okay... Just keep being calm as ever."
A few minutes later, Marilla arrived at the castle gates. She looked through the bars, hoping that Rideron had an army large enough, and skilled enough, to fight the Devil's Peak Army.

((I'll play as the prince))
"We have no army," the prince said regretfully. "My father's kingdom is one of trade, not military. We have no warriors but the guards and knights of the castle." The princes gaze lowered. He knew he should leave and give his father's kingdom a chance of survival, but he could not betray his home. He thought the worst about the assassin, that he had taken the life of both princesses. If so, his death would mark the end of his family and hence the end of Rideron itself. "Why so glum?" a voice came. The prince looked around, startled by this voice. It was not one of the guards, nor was it Zaven, nor was it himself. "Who's there?" the prince asked.
Zane, who was a spider in the shadowed corner of the room, crawled down the wall and took his human form. The guards rushed at him when they realized he was the assassin. Zane did not move as sword tips and crossbow ends were pointed at his head. "Your sister lives to rule your kingdom. I will fight against Devil's Peak not for you but for the forest you call yours." Zane said, keeping a straight face. The prince hesitated. "How do I know if I can trust you?" the prince asked. "You are going to die today, I know it as well as you. You need all the abled warriors you can get." Zane said. His straight face never strayed. The prince replied, "Right you are." He paused in thought. "Release him." The swords and crossbows lowered from Zane's head. Zane smiled. "Thank you, your majesty." Zane said. "You may leave with the other soldiers," the prince said. Zane quickly replied. "No, I fight with a true warrior, not your peons. Either that, or I fight alone." The prince first thought of asserting his order, but he was still afraid of the boy. "Fine," he finally said after a moment of thought. "Zaven, will you fight with this boy?"

"Zane has worked for the ruler of devils peak, as have I. I trust his skill and I know him as a man of his word, I would be honored to fight with him... your majesty. I do beg of you have your sister flee, at least. for the good of rideron, and its resurrection if it fall." Zaven inspects the boy."But sire we must act quickly, and Zane I do not intend to slow you down."
