Both surfaced, heads swinging back, gasping for air, both launching from the other and circling the lake. The ran forward, on the water, ripples under their boots. Kamiss leapt up as Silas slid down; their swords met in the middle, and they both careened off path.

(evil grin)
Suddenly, sharp pains pierced the soles of their feet. the sparring partners looked down to find the lakeshore covered in vines, razor thorns everywhere. A tendril stretched almost lazily up around Kamiss ankle, gaining speed as it climbed towards his waist.
Chobah landed gracefully on the ground behind them, the window above her swinging shut.

Kamiss slowly turned his head to look at her. "You want to fight?" He grinned wickedly. "Finally." Silas stepped back for the moment; Kaaiss leapt into the air, tearing the vine out by the roots, untwirling it from his leg, grabbing it right as it was about to get his wrist, and throwing it at Chobah, he himself following, sword at the ready.

he sighed and sat down next to a tree, knowing he had to watch the two spar.

Laughing, Chobah called out, "Now you know how I feel, Silas!"
She twisted back to Kamiss just as the lethal vine whipped toward her. With a wave of her hand, the vine turned a sickly brown and fell at her feet, withered.
"Hmph...I never did make it past hand wizard..." she mumbled.
Chobah hummed a short note, and twisted her hand into a fist. The ground below Kamiss rumbled, and then began to pull apart, small, melting stones shooting from the crevice.

Kamiss threw out a clawed hand, grabbed the molten rock, and crushed it together. He threw the half-cooled rock into the air, blood-red flames scorching out of his dragonic mouth. The result was a pulsing ball of lava, which grew on Kamiss' breath. Kamiss threw the giant ball into the water, the rock becoming a boulder, and splashing Silas. "Show off." Chobah muttered, and Kamiss opened his wings only 1/4 of the 40 foot span, flying a beeline at her.

She leapt into the air, and caught hold of the window frame above her. Then, when Kamiss changed direction to come after her, she dove over him and landed in the lake with no splash at all.

Kamiss immediatly grinned wickedly. He pulled up the boulder with his mind, the water coming up in a wave with it, Chobah flying out of the lake. The water landed back inside, but the boulder rotated Kamiss. "I wouldn't go back in the water if I were you." He warned. It was obvious he could throw the boulder in to crush her if she did.

Chobah smirked.
"Oh, but I'm not you."
In a flash she was back underwater, grinning devilishly at Kamiss, just below the surface where he could still see her.

Kamiss grinned. She really couldn't predict him at all. He threw the boulder straight up, broke it into 5 smaller peices, and threw those at the water, in perfect formation just around the edge of the water and far enough in that none of the lake was free from the impact.

Chobah watched from her bubble as the rocks sank to the bottom, the waves from impact still thrashing above her. Then, as it quieted down, she released the protecting spell and broke the surface, whispereing along the ripples. They grew, slowly but surely, until by the time they reached the edge of the lake, a great wave wwas formed that crashed over Kamiss' head, throwing him against the wall of the Inn.
As soon as his back hit the wall, she was up in the branches of the willow Silas was under, waiting with bated breath.

This time Kamiss' eyes narrowed. He walked forward, completely dry, and leapt up towards Chobah. He snapped the branch with his knee, turning and kicking Chobah in the head as she tried to jump off. Kamiss hit ground long before the kick sent her 5 feet; he then twisted around, leapt back at her, and threw her into the wall of the inn. He drew his swords.

Chobah snarled like a trapped animal, lips peeled back. She shook drops of blood from her brow, head ringing from the kick. She dug her nails, no strangely clawlike, into the wall behind her. She jerked forward, and ripped a board from the wall. Flinging it at Kamiss, knowing he would dodge, she slammed her shoulder into his side just as he steppped from the boards path, and darted away.

Kamiss laughed. He tossed one of his swords into the ground, embedding it a Chobah's feet. "You'd die if you fought me unarmed."

Chobah's eyes darkened, and she clenched her fists.
"Fine then. If you want to turn a simple practice fight into a show of how conceited you can be, have it your way. I choose not to take part in making you feel godly."
The anger in her voice was obvious, and rang through the clearing.
She heaved his sword from the ground, and snapped it in two. With no help. She threw it at his feet and departed stormily into the woods.
