Wow, I'm so glad there are other Yuffentine fans out there! No one I know offline has a clue about FFVII so there is noone to share my extreme die-hard fandom. ^____^;;

I've written two Yuffentine fanfictions, but I've only completed one. Go to http://www.fanfiction.net/ and search Casseh Valentine. Misery Loves Company was my first ever...and personally, I think it stunk. More of a learnign experience.

I stopped though after loosing my place and forgetting what it was about.

I gotta disagree with you on your second paragraph. You see, I can at least deal with OCs, and I don't really mind if they have them fall in love with the FF7 characters. Whether or not they fall in love back is a different story.
See, I can deal with it if it's well written. Like, I'd rather read a masterfully done fic where someone falls in love with Elena or Tifa or something rather than a crapilly done AeriSeph. Just a few ground rules:

1.) Character CANNOT be a mary-sue or gary-stu. In other words, they cannot be perfect perfect perfect, like beautiful, smart, caring, NO FLAWS. Each character in FF7 had a flaw(s) that made them human. And "Caring too much" does not count as a flaw.

2.) Cannot have the OTHER characters out of character. Like, having Tifa being a smoking crack whore who does everyone on the street so Cloud leaves her for pretty miss perfect. Or having Aeris all Emo and cutting herself so that Cloud leaves her and goes with the godess of light who is Iflana's sister or some bullshit like that...

3.) Cannot fall instantly in love. COME ON! That should be a given. Nobody falls in love and ******** in one day, it just doesn't happen! Gotta build, have character interaction, gotta have conflict, gotta have story and not a PWP (Porn without plot or Plot? What plot?)!

If it can do that, then I'm good with it. I do that a lot, got some fics with Love Hina characters in love with two of my OCs. Kitsune and Motoko with Fred and Oni... Even got Samus with Willie Aspuren, but I put in a plot, I put in conflict, in fact Motoko HATES Oni in the beginning and not the whole "Oh my god, I have found a man that I can love because he's so cool. Motoko the warrior is gone, and comes back the lover!" *shudder* Weird...

Gotta have them in character, gotta. If you can do that, and have it make sense, the kudos. Just don't make it suck...
