Kristi walked out of shadow nodding as her armor was exposed to him now,"Shifty eh? Names Kristi, CPO" she said takinga s eat on the floor,'Ya mind filli nme in on wahts goin on aroudn here?" she asked in more of an order than question.

"Well to be honest, all I've heard is something about three or four dead bodies and no Covenant. So either it's the privilege of rank to know what the hell we're doing here, or no one else really knows." He said and joined her in sitting on the ground. "Man, it is so boring right now though. My trigger finger's itchy." He said with a slight grin.

Michael pulled the steering wheel back to realine the hog. It snapped back into position and then he turned hard left hitting the brake. The warthog did a full 180 degree turn, now facing the encampment. He reached down to the console and pressed a button. "Have you ever wondered why we do what we do?" he asked LAAG. The air around him was dense and his body felt a little heavy. He wished he could be back on the old Reach with his drill sargeant and Dr. Halsey. They were good friends. More like a father and mother. He raised a hand to his helmet and placed it at the back, sighing heavily.

"Every now and then. But Im on duty right now. Why do you ask?" He knew she probably wanted to a sparing match, but he was on duty and took his job seriously, though he hid it with lose jokes and the occasional outburst. "Got to keep a look out."

Kristi gave a dark chuckle,"hunny, ive been her a bit longer than you, im sure of it, trust me theyd have to walk quite a ways to get here... you can save a couple mineuts to ahve a lil knife fight..." she said standing up and slipepd a hand back grabbing one of her knives. She handed it to Shifty and she too kanother herself and attatched a gaurd to it,"its good for ya anyways." She said smirking to herself.

He caught the knife and brought to bearing. She was probably right. They were out in the middle of nowhere and the only two guys he sw this whole time drove off on "patrol." "Alright then, your move then." He grinned again.

Kristi made a little show with hers, sliding it along her arm plating,"ok, your turn heh, trust me, yo udont want me to go first..." She said looking back up at him.

Shifty thtrew it up into the air and caught it by having the point hit the end of his pointer finger and then flipping it around in different directions. "I think I can take it." He said his grin growing a little bit wider.

Kristi smiled,"hehe son, do you have any idea who I am?" Shea sked kind of gloating as she steped forward as if a blue and ended up behind him, kicking her legs out against his, trying to make him stumble.

He front flipped away, getting her out from behind him, and looking her straight in the eyes. "I guess that means we started huh?"

Kristi followed suit throwing her knife at him to get him jumpy,"yeah it does, tehres a reason i puta gaurd on my knife!" she hollered and swept kick mid run at him.

He took the knife in the chest, his armour flicking it right off with the gaurd on and tossed his, ran back at her and threw his straight up.

She leaned down a bit and shifted her weight to the right, easily slamming he rshoulder right into Shifty's chest.

Shifty took the blow and rolled over her getting behind her and trying to kick ker legs out from under her.
