If you're playing a space marine force you can have allies from BOTH SOB and DH (as long as you can fill your requirements for the mission). If you're playing as either SOB or DH you can only have one ally form another of the ordo's...I think it's cool that space marines can have both! It should be the more flexible list.
It's in the allies section in DH and SOB, but it's worded a little funny so you might have missed it.

Seraphine-Exalted Lozt_1 Seraphine-Exalted Lozt_1 Seraphine-Exalted Lozt_1 Seraphine-Exalted well, we're not really into lunchammer atm, but im starting there so i can play some games for almost no money, then after i add like a dreadie or something, and some normal marines, i can play in 600 pts tourneys, after that im going for 1000 and then 1500 I thought they cant have Space marines if they have grey knights? Like in witch hunters you can have no sisters if you have Space marines. Although if you go the other way it is okay. Ie... Space marines with the GK or SoB as the ally... ill use my dh in a spacie army later, but now i have to little pts do that. anyway, the latest army builder version (from wolflair) says that armies with traits cant have DH as allies :S You need to get the GW vs of army builder the wolflair one is almost always wrong... It is usually little things but it happens... Neither of the Hunter dexes say that and neither do any of the FAQs'. So I know it has to be wrong... were can u get the GW one? http://ial.games-workshop.com/default.htm humz it gives me crap about files not being found, just the patch maybe? You used to be able to buy it from there... Now I guess it is a phone call option...

You should be able to download the patches from GW's website... AOTI/EOTI base softwares still have to be bought at a GW store or GW retailer. But it has its own bugs and glitches (like at one time a Salamanders' Razorback heavy weapon option caused a validation error against the squad's heavy weapon option).
Oh, and AOTI/EOTI includes Lunchammer as an option.
ArmyBuilder sucks. It began sucking when wolfslair released version 3 with its new security system. You have to have an internet connection to use it, and if you have to reinstall it more than once you have to buy a new copy at full market price.

i found five 2nd edition grey knight termis in my local game store, i think im gonna use one as my grand master. anyone like that idea? need opinions now beofer they all get bought up please. also..... has anyone else done this or thought of this b'fore?

Trust me, they really are that rare. Using one as your Grand Master would be neat, but I'd suggest having the entire squad composed of the old- style "turtleback" terminators. I've only seen them on the table once, as someone's Deathwing Command Squad. BTW, if they've got any of the old turtleback Chaos termies (the old ones from before the trophy racks came out) let me know.
