Hello my players... How's it going?
Yes a rogue will be useful in this campaign, but for more than just traps (though there will be traps and locked doors). You all need someone who can use diplomacy, use magic device will help out a lot, and sneak attack will get the enemies killed quickly. Just remember to flank enemies (Cross on one side and Glo on the other) and then watch the sneak attacks pour in. Dimitri's job as a support wizard is to disable and weaken the enemies so Cross and Glo can kill them. Ironiiku, as a favored soul, has good combat abilities as well, so when healing is not needed, he can muck it up in melee.
Favored souls are pretty much the divine equivalent of sorcerers, though for some reason they get more spells known, energy resistance, bonus feats, damage reduction, and wings. I've not seen many favored souls in action, but in one campaign I DMed there was a NPC wererat favored soul of Kedroni (the CN god of theives in that campaign setting)... He was interesting, but he annoyed the PCs with his idle banter.

Also there's no starting regions in this campaign. Its not in Forgotten Realms, Grayhawk, or Eberron.... It's just a custom world that you'll only see a small part of that happens to have the default gods found in the Player's Handbook.

If you mean trophy skulls, you're allowed to take trophies from things you kill... Though if you take the skull of everything you kill, you're going to get encumbered really quick.

Yeah, there will be some good skulls for you to collect, maybe not of evil cult leaders (LOL, I do use way too many evil cults in my games!) but some exotic monsters will definitely fall beneath the blades and magic of your party.

well, by using the craft (armor) and craft (weapon) skills, you can actually make things out of the scales and teeth of dragons... Also dragons might have gems imbedded in their scales. They dont' call this game Dungeons and Dragons for nothing...
