I meant to do this the other day, but anyway
I'm Paula, and I'm 31 years old. I've been reading the Anita series for about 3 years, when I ordered them from a book club. I have to confess, I liked the earlier Anita books (before she was sleeping with everything coming and going) but I'll still read them because I love the writing.
One more thing that I should confess... I actually like Richard too. Yeah, he's an a** at times, but it doesn't make me hate him.

Hello, i am Dawn and i am 32. I have been reading anita books for about 3 years also. a friend of mine had midnight cafe (three books in one) and dint want to read it and passed it on to me. well it was the middle of the set and i had to go right out and buy the rest as soon as i had finished that book. lol
Favorite charater , oh so hard, i would have to say Nathaniel, then Asher, Damien and Jason, lol okay so i cant choose! I like the wereleopards alot. Wishing her newest book was already out!
Laurel k. Hamilton has me hooked.

My name is Ashley. I am fifteen. I play the flute. I started reading the books in the middle of 2004. I am now anxiously awaiting the thirteenth book. I know, maybe a little too young to read it, oh well. I love everything about it. I love how Hamilton gives every detail about someone's appearance and gets so many styles and they are still to die for! Her writing is great, she does a wonderful job. What I most like about the Anita Blake Series is the killing, the new situations, the new power plateaus....everthing!

Hello everyone, my name is Corina, but you can call me Phedre. I am 23 years old and go to college in New York. I have started reading Anita Blake a few months ago when some girls in my club recomended it and I got hooked on the story from the first chapter on. I have bought most of the books from the series, including the faery colection and Nightseer. I simply love the series and the way LKH creates the men in her books. I cannot wait to read the new ones when they come out.
I am very happy to have joined this guild and cannot wait to talk to fellow fans about the books and the characters and such. I hope to meet everyone and I am sure I will have a great time here.

...My name is Theresa, i'm 14 and started reading the series sometime last year when my friend made me read guilty pleasures. i've always loved anything having to do with vampires and any other supernatural and once i read the first book, i had to read more. i havent finished the series yet, but i'm working on it. I love how well written and detailed the books are. I also love the plots, and tensions between the characters.

.I've been into Anita Blake since Middle School (6th or 7th grade)
.I was in love with Richard until he turned into a whiny b***h and now I guess the runner up is Jason.
.The older books are better than the newer ones
.To much sex and no storyline= snore fest
.I'm hoping the books get better with this latest novel coming out this fall whoot!
.Oh and I've met Laurel at least 3 or 4 times for various book signings and she's really cool.

I'm Sybex, or Ed (which I got from both my realname which is Erin, Ted Forrester, and Edward Elric. Pwahaha. I'm short AND a sociopath!) I'm 13. I've just started reading the series, on book four but have flipped through many of the others. The preternatural creatures are a big reason I read the series, especially since before hand I hadn't known much about lycanthropes (now I love Gabriel, the sick son of a b***h). I swear it has nothing to do with the sex! MY HORMONES AREN'T RAGING! ninja That and the plots... Hamilton may make more spelling errors than other authors, but her characters and plotlines just draw me in more than any other book's does.
Oh, and Anita Blake is how I met three of my friends.
Friend: I'm reading this book, and the character, Anita Blake...
Me: eek You mean... *grabs book from under table* this Anita Blake?
Friend: *grins*

I began reading the Anita Blake series about 3 months ago. In that time, I have read every single book of the series except Guilty Pleasures. I'm currently reading that one now.....
I really enjoy the series and despite the turn that it's taken, I can't wait until the newest book is out. Well, I'm a fan. I'm glad there's a guild about it.

I'm Eli, 21, and I'm an anitaholic! Okay I've only recently started to read the series! I finished it in two weeks. I'm waiting for the newest one (Incubus Dreams) to go paper back before I buy it! I guess you could say I'm a**l about my books looking the same! So when my friend buys the Blake books I borrow them from her and read them! I'm not sure I like all the pointless sex in it but I love the characters so much I will continue too read them anyway!

I'm Marian and the first LKH book I read was Kiss of Shadows. I was 13 at the time. It didn't really do anything for me (meaning I wasn't particularly hooked) so I pushed the thing to the back of my mind and, sad to say, it was a few years before I saw the light.
A couple of years later, I saw Lunatic Cafe and the author's name struck a chord in my mind so I picked it up. I'm soooooo happy I did. I realized it was the fourth book. I did just about everything to get my hands on the others (hopefully, in order) just so I can get more of Anita. I just love her and Jean-Claude and Nathaniel and Micah. I'm not really partial to Richard but whatever.
I can't wait for Danse Macabre to come out. I already have my camping gear ready just in case I have to camp out at Border's. Haha.

blaugh heart Ciao signore e signori, i just love love love all of Laurell K. Hamilton's books... I've read every Anita Blake and Meredith Gentry book she's made, i've even read her other boks like cravings, night seer and lots more. I love her imagination and she's my inspiration. My names Treniese but my friends call me Kitty. I'm 14 going 45 so says my friends, they all say i analize everything and yet i never seem to notice lol. Don't get me wrong i can be goofy and i'm very considerate of others feelings, i just happen to be very quiet and i think alot. My favorite Character's from the Anita blake series are Jean-claude, Nathaniel, and Micah. My favorite character's from the Meredith Gentry series are Kitto, Frost and Doyle. I look forward to making many new friends here in this guild... i've never met another person who actually liked Laurell's books and i read my first one on my birthday last year March 29, the first one i read was Blue moon and it was so good that i read it in one night and have been hooked ever since lol...
P.S. sorry i wrote so much redface and the first i said is in italian it means hello ladies and gentlemen just so you know...

Hmm, I met to get to this sooner... Oh well, here it is.
So, I'm Daniel. Right now, I'm only 15, but in a few months, up goes that number. I'm pretty sure the first time I "officialy" read AB was...three, four years ago. Of course, it's always nice to read the first book in a series, before attempting to read any others...
So, I guess my favorite character is...Sigmund! Yes, that little penguin has taken a personality all his own. In my mind at least! Next comes Asher, and then it would have to be Jean-Cladeand Ricard on equal footing. My LEAST favorite character woud have to be...no one, I guess.

Livythia Phrixus_Romana Let's see...I'm am all that is Phrixus. Seventeen years of age, eighteen in a month. I love reading, writing, drawing, cooking, rollar blading and crafting. I'm studying Japanese right now, as well as...nothing else exciting ^.^ I have an iguana, Willy, three dogs: Sadie, Lacey, and Mitsy, two cats: Bugs and Izzy, and two fish: Amiboshi and Suboshi. That about covers the pets. Unless you count stuffed animals and there are way too many to put on here. I haven't gotten a penguin yet ^^; I only started the books a few months ago and only yesterday finished Incubus Dreams. (I started Kushiel's Dart today.) I have not read the Gentry series as of yet, school work and the other series is not cooperating XD At school, I'm the VP of Anime Club and afterwards, I have work in a part of a grocery store that rents movies and does pictures. There's nothing much else to say, I guess... Welcome! to everyone =] Just out of curiosity, is Kushiel's Dart any good? Someone mentioned that to me a while back when we got on the topic of books and smut. I know nothing about the plot line though. I forget who writes it. The whole Kushiel's Legacy Trilogy was awesome ^^ Sorry it took so long to respond. Moving/family issues. The smut doesn't overwhelm but is an integral part of the storyline. It makes sense that it's there, but doesn't go all out on the details...yeah, I think you got the picture. And the author...I have no clue at the moment... I have read all the Merry books and I have to say that I adopted Frost fast. He's yummery. Let's see, yeah, I loved out of state. I haven't got a job just yet...though I am looking. I graduated, am 18...blahs...I need to get back on furcadia. Ciao!
