Zephyr listened to Irwin and Tou play with an absent sort of interest. It was better than just staring out the car window, at least, even if she didn't particularly think it was that fun. She wished she could be more like Jaclyn though... The woman seemed to have already managed to fall asleep. If only she could do the same and not deal with the long drive.

Tou turned to see Zeph, looking rather bored.
"Wanna' play I-Spy with us? It's ... rather ... fun?" she said, smiling sarcastically.

Zeph gazed out the window for a few m,oments in silence before finally shrugging in defeat. "Sure. ..I guess I'll take my turn now." It wasn't really her idea of fun...but it would keep her from being bored the whole way there. She sighed and glanced around the inside of the car, plucking at her seat. "I spy with my little eye...something...beginning with...s."

She shook her head, unable to keep a small smile off her face. This wasn't fun at all! Really! She'd swear to it! ...if it weren't for that traitorous smile at least. "Nope. Not th'sky."

Aiden watched the game of I Spy eagerly, awaiting his turn. Hmmm. . . Zeph had mentioned something that began with S. And then, it came to him. It was rather pathetic when you thought about it.
"Skull Monkeys," the adult lad said in a whisper. "I mean, that's what we are. It starts with S."
Roxy, meanwhile, was looking out of the window, her nose pressed against the glass, her eyes beginning to glaze over. Aiden took one glance at her and rolled his eyes. For some reason, Roxy liked watching the trees that passed by on the side of the road.
Tree. . . Tree. . . Tree. . . She said that she found it hypnotizing. Aiden only let her when she wasn't driving. He didn't particularly like being in accidents. Roxy didn't either. It was stupid to tell a cop that you had crashed because "I was watching the trees".

Tou turned to see Aiden, giving a strange look at his mother. She seemed to be ... watching the trees outside. Tou saw her hypnotized gaze, and gave Aiden a funny look.
"What's she doing?" the adult asked, playing with a vine from her flower crown.

Aiden winced as Tou inquired about his mother's strange, hypnotized appearance. "Er. . ." he blushed. "She likes to watch the trees," he whispered, thoroughly embarassed. Though his mother was not in the least a strange person (at least, most of the time), everyone has their odd habits and characteristics. Roxy's was watching trees out of the car window.

Tou blushed a little too, noticing that she had embarassed Aiden.
"Oh, it's ok. My mum was a tree for a little while, which was pretty weird" she replied, trying to make the monkey feel better.
From the front of the car, Jamie piped up.
"'Bout half way now, kiddies! Not long to go!"

Chiyo had taken the change as a surprise. She was an adult now, as simple as that. She didn't feel any different, except...
"I...am...Chi...yo..." she whispered with some difficulty. But...she had done it! She had spoken! In real, actual words! Her eyes got big and she went utterly silent, just staring ahead.

Tou shot round, gasping. Not only had Chiyo grew right infront of her eyes, but she spoke! Proper words at that; slightly stuttery, but still words.
"C-Chiyo! Your big! And you spoke!" she exclaimed, face lit up.
Jamie squealed girlishly, looking at the new adult out the corner of her eye.
