Shuura was a bit fascinated as she watched Roux devour the ice cream. This was the first time she'd actually seen a Raeven eat....Vyn so far had refused anything she had tried feeding her. Except water. And water was, well...boring.
The demand for ice cream was increasing. "Here you go!" she said somewhat distractedly. setting down a bowl with one scoop of vanilla ice cream and one scoop of melon ice cream in front of the caped woman. She turned around, remembering that someone else had asked for melon ice cream as well. A platinum-haired boy was standing near Chloe with an expectant look on his face. Ah. Chloe looked a bit preoccupied with the green Frei, so Shuura took it upon herself to serve the boy. "One melon ice cream...Here you go." She set the bowl in front of the boy.
Shuura eyed at the eclectic mix of customers gathered at the booth. As much as she would have loved romping off with Vyn to go on a shopping spree and leaving these people on their own, she still felt the need to impress Natsuki with a demonstration of her superb "hostess" skills. Ah, the things I will do for money...or the promise of it, she sighed to herself, and turned to the customers with a bland smile. "So, everyone enjoying the festival?" she asked. "How's the ice cream?"

Zephrnyx looked at where the other girl seemed to be looking, and followed her gaze to the beautiful blue creature with wings. He blinked amusedly and watched him eat after moving away from his guardian. Almost like a child. he thought and a small smile flitted across his face. Turning back, he realized the girl in a long black ponytail had seved him the ice cream he had ordered and slightly blushed "oops, Thank you, The festival is great." He put the money down and took a seat after taking cookiebit condiments; he decided not to ask questions as that the girl was busy enough.

Shuura glanced up at the boy. Good kid, she thought to herself, and shoved some more condiments towards his general direction. Glancing around and seeing that everyone had been helped so far, she decided to help herself to a generous serving of vanilla ice cream, drizzling it heavily with whipped cream and chocolate syrup. After a moment's hesitation, she whipped up a bowl of strawberry ice cream as well and drizzled it with ribbons of condensed milk.
"Natsuki?" she asked with a mischievious glint in her red eyes. "Can you do me a favor and bring this to Vyn over there?" She jerked her head in the direction of the fish booth, where Vyn was standing next to the guy with the cigarette. "She might not take it, but I'm sure you'll...find a better use for it if she rejects it."

"Sure thing, Shuu," Natsuki winked, returning from washing and separating the empty service ware and carrying more melon ice cream. "I'll leave this end to you all. Thanks again for helping out."
Stepping out of the booth, Natsuki caught onto Shuura's devious plan. She was forcing her to talk to the cute guy that caught her attention at the fishing booth. She was relieved to get away from the cramped booth. With her and Shuura it wasn't so crowded, but with the new additions of Miss Chloe and Roux, Natsuki felt a bit claustrophobic. Adjusting her sash and yukata, she advanced on the fishing booth. Her pulse quickened as she approached Vyn and the mysterious man smoking.
"Sorry to interrupt your conversation. Vyn, Shuura thought you might be hungry. Do you want some strawberry ice cream?" Natsuki asked softly, biting her lip gently. "It's refreshing and sweet. I promise..."

Byagane just smiled peacefully at Gage.
"What about your face? You are a beautiful being. Just because you are different does not mean there is something bad about you. I think you are very handsome."
When the other boy approached him she bowed polietely and introduced herself. THen she turned to the stand.
"May I have a vanilla please?"
She decided to let the being have one less person staring at him, but she still had felt compelled to tell him he was beautiful.

Shuura hastily wolfed down her own ice cream, a trail of chocolate syrup trailing down to her chin. "MMMPHhfwuh. Onf banifa oishkleeem cumminoop," she mumbled through a full mouth to the girl with violently violet hair.
Scooping up a round blob of vanilla ice cream, she dumped it into a bowl, garnished it with a chocolate wafer stick, and handed it to the girl. "Herrryouf--" she swallowed. "Here you go."
Vyn turned around. It was the person at the ice cream booth earlier. She eyed the bowl of pink stuff that was being offered to her, her eyebrows knitting together in a slight frown. Reaching out, Vyn touched the stuff and drew back slightly. It was cold!

"You don't have to eat it if you don't want it. It's okay," Natsuki smiled softer. "My name is Natsuki. I forgot to tell you earlier, Vyn."
Looking at the man with the dark sunglasses and cigarette, she flushed slightly. He was much more attractive at close range. Holding the ice cream patiently, Natsuki waited for Vyn to decide if she was going to eat it or not. Her hand trembled slightly as she was nervous around the fishing booth opperator. Gathering up her courage, Natsuki tried a bolder move.
"Who's your attractive friend here?" Natsuki giggled, fluttering her thick eyelashes. "Do you have a boyfriend already, Vyn?"

Vyn cocked her head slightly at Natsuki, not comprehending. She could sense admiration and a tinge of nervousnous coming from the woman, but it didn't seem to be directed at her.
Natsuki's hand trembled slightly as she stood there, and Vyn narrowed her eyes. Was she going to drop it?
Vyn reached out and carefully took the bowl from Natsuki, her eyes widening slightly at the coldness of the bowl.

"The bowl is cold, isn't it?" Natsuki giggled, rubbing her hands together to get the blood circulating again. "Give it a little taste. Like this..."
Natsuki took an extra spoon from her apron. Steadying her hand at the edge of the bowl, her fingers lightly touching Vyn's, she took a small spoonful of ice cream and topping. Wrinkling her nose like a delighted child, Natsuki stuck the spoon in her mouth and swallowed the ice cream. Triumphantly removing the spoon from her mouth, she waved the spoon like a ruler or pointer stick a teacher would use.
"Go on, now," Natsuki smiled, waiting for Vyn to take the spoon from the bowl and try some. "You'll be drinking strawberry milk if you let it sit there and melt on you."

Tsu smiled at the efforts of the ice cream booth volunteer to get the busty raevan to try ice cream for the first time. "It might help the flavor and taste if she didn't smell the smoke from my cigarettes." Tsu offered as he crushed out a butt and decided not to light another so quickly. "It's really great that you're helping out Chloe and that other spaz with ice cream sales...I'm sorry I didn't catch your name yet?" Tsu offered a hand. "However I suppose I should introduce myself first, I'm Dr. Tsu, medical staff for the labs."
Turning to the raevan, Tsu just said, "I suggest you take the nice lady's suggestion and eat it before it melts...which would be soon in this heat."

Vyn eyed the woman warily, not sure that what Natsuki was doing was really all that enjoyable. After a moment's consideration, though, Vyn took the spoon and dipped it carefully into the bowl. It was like catching the goldfish, Vyn realized, except the stuff in the bowl didn't move.
She was pleased when the spoon didn't break in the middle, either.
Vyn turned around slightly in surprise as the man suddenly stopped producing smoke. Gingerly lifting the spoonful of pink stuff closer, she could now smell the sweet scent of the fruity dish. It reminded her of that other Raeven...the blonde one. Her rosy tongue slipped out and hesitantly licked the slightly-gooey ice cream. The cold numbed her tongue slightly, but the feeling was not altogether unpleasant, she decided.

"My name is Natsuki Yanagitani, I'm a manager at Cafe Jubilee across town," Natsuki said, slipping her hand into his. Giving his hand a gentle squeeze, her fingers lingered slightly in his hand before pulling away. "Chloe and Shuura have been fantastic about helping at the booth. Even Roux and Vyn helped out a bit."
His voice was soothing and wickedly cool. Natsuki didn't fall for guys often, especially since working in a place where guys do nothing but oogle women and forget to eat the food they waste their money on. Pushing some of her green curls from her face, she looked up at him, trying to figure out what color eyes hid behind those dark glasses. Relief swept over her face when Vyn began trying the ice cream.
"You're a medical doctor? Do you work here at the university?" Natsuki asked, feeling very self-conscious suddenly. "Or are you privately employed?"

Calmly waits for her ice cream and eats it happily. She places the small container with Fish-chan next to her bowl so she wouldn't forget him.
