Aysel began to reply, but tensed as she heard the same sound that had made Grave jump. "What was that?" She asked with a frown, edging closer to Antigone and looking nervously over her shoulder. "Professor, what was that?" she repeated, this time directing her question at somebody specific. She hadn't been too frightened before, but now, she shook with nerves.

Antigone's hand curled in Aysel's coat, though she wasn't fully aware of the action. "Yes, what was that?" she asked, her voice raising among the murmurs to add to her friend's question.

Torrid jumped when grave did, his sudden movement startling him entirely. His ears managed to pick out the sound as it trailed off and he felt his blood run cold.

Dariyn smiled faintly, "I know you will..." Now he was even more insistent on staying close to everyone else, that sound had...ugh...he didn't even WANT to know what had made it.

Everyone was jumping and they sounded upset. Eyes wide Nadyrr glanced around excitedly. Maybe there really would be something out in the dark this time to account for their fear.

Elanin stiffened when she finally heard the howling noise, she shivered, and shook scooting closer to Nadyrr, she frowned and looked over at him, now she realized why everyone was so jumpy! Eghads... She was starting to get there herself.

Morrow looked at his love then at the professors. Yes, the scream had rattled him some.. but he couldn't let Dariyn see that. He saw Grave in the middle. He half wanted to call out for him.. so he did. "Grave!" His voice was strong, but soft.
