Navon watched the proceedings rather impassively. He knew all he had to, after all, the rest he could figure out as he went along. It would be nice to see further examples of these others spellcasting abilities before asking if they might like to exchange notes.
"If we will have enough time" he said "I would like the chance to memorise the spells lost from my mind during our last battle before we head out. I have the feeling I will need them all."

twisted stare *sign* 3...2.....1...... twisted " eek GOOD GODS!! blaugh HOW AMAZING!! YOU LOOK AS IF YOU ARE A MAN CARVED OUT OF A ROCK!! xd OR EVEN AN ANIMATED STATUE!! PLEASE!! YOU MUST SHARE WITH ME THE NAME OF YOUR CULTURE OR JUST YOUR CULTURE IN GENERAL!!" blaugh After realizing how much of a fool he made himself look, Dimitri controls his enthusiaism and regains his composure. "I appologize for the outburst, Navon is right, we need time to restudy the arcane spells we used earlier on. But before I can do that I must find out the current status of the unconscious ones."

I look at Dimitri "Well, while I may be half your size, I'm far from a fool. I know plenty of mages who have tampered with a great many things, nature included. As a matter of fact, and I mean no offense to any of you by this, mages tend to be the ones to worry about the most, as they usually have quite a desire to learn everything, and when they're less than good, control everything. But, I'm sure I'll not need to worry about any of you."I smile up at Dimitri, and give a playful look to the rest of the party, indicating I have no mistrust or ill feelings towards them.

Moonwind continues, "I have to be off now, as I have much to tend to in town tonight before I will see any rest. Please meet my friend Deerhunter near the east gate of town. He will provide you with a place to rest and memorize spells, he will also see that any wounds you may have are tended to before you leave. He should not be hard to find, he is a half-elf ranger wearing leathers, he should be accompanied by a dark-haired female elven ranger." With that, she leaves the Mayor's offices.
The mayor, still sitting at his desk, looks up to Dimitri and the rest of you. "I am quite sure the guards will have taken care of any unconsious raiders. The Guard Captain will most likely be able to give you any information they have been able to get from them when you see him. Thank you again for your assistance. I also have much to take care of tonight, so I will bid you good evening." With that, his vassals usher you out of the office.

DimitriFate Outside at the moment. As Brendon watch Faust get herded into the build along with the rest of the adventurer. Brendon busys himself with his master's last command about sercuring the unconscious and keeping them that way. I can't believe they left me out here. Oh, well, at least the rain is slowing down. sweatdrop "(I'll have Brendon introduce himself eventually, and I kinda lost track how many were left unconscious and should I just keep rolling sixes or use the one in my previous post? If it's the d6 from the previous post the result is 6+3Str=9*2=18 subdual damage. eek ) Sorry, I kinda missed the part about Brendan in this post redface The guardsmen begin rounding up the unconsious raiders and shackling them together. A few guards then lead the men and goblins off to the guard house while the rest begin cleaning up the dead, heaping raiders and goblins in carts, and carefully removing the dead and wounded guardsmen and townsfolk (and Alex) on stretchers.

Not wasting time, I head to the town gates, looking to see if I can find any humanoid tracks. I realize it's a long shot, with all the goblinoids, it would be tough to discern them, but I try anyways, looking for tracks leading away from the city rather than into it
Survival check 4+7Survival=11 to track

There are many guardsmen cleaning up the remnants of the battle, and they have been busily confusing any footprints leaving the town. You can see many footprints of the human raiders and goblins that escaped into the woods.
More noticably though, there are two rangers standing near the gate, apparently waiting for something by the way they look around. The man fits the description Moonwind gave you for Deerhunter. He is a tall half-elf in leather armor, wearing a holy symbol of Mielikki around his neck. The other is a tanned young elf maiden with long braided silver/shadow mix color hair, wearing dark leather armor.

Dimitri, seeing that the goblins might have some vital information, seeks out Brendon. Upon spoting him, "Brendon, do me a favor, you saw where the guards took the ones we knocked out, right? Go and retrieve the information, offer help in getting it out of them. If you can't do it, come and get me." Guess it's a good time to meet those rangers Lady Moonwind asked us to meet. Upon reaching the gate and seeing what is easily recognized as elven traits, "Hail! I am looking for a man named Deerhunter, is that you?

Not at all surprised to come up emptyhanded on my track search, I head over to the two rangers. As I near, I give a short bow, then begin to speak"Hail! I am Nizam. I assume that you are Deerhunter. The priestess gave me a description of you. But you, my lady, I was not informed of. Will you also be accompanying us in this adventure?"

Deerhunter also gives a small bow. "Yes. I am Deerhunter, servant of Mielikki. It is a pleasure to meet you. Moonwind also informed me that I should meet you here. We should wait here for a moment until Ira meets us, then I will take you to Bearpaw's home, where you can rest before starting out. He will also tend to any wounds you may have. I am not sure if you know the Guard Captain's name, but he is Ira Legnin, and should be meeting us here any moment." He looks to his female companion, letting her introduce herself.

Knocking on the door Brendon announces his presence to the guards in his raspy, muffled voice. "My name is Brendon Heat I, along with my master help to defend your village. I was ask to retrieve information from the prisoners or to provide aid in its extraction!" afterwards he waits for a reply.

DarkHayama I walk up to the high priestess, and give a low bow "My good lady, as a gnome of the woods, I need not alot of wealth. I pledge a third of my treasure to your temple, and another third to the rebuilding of the town, provided you can promise me that trees will only be cut from the forest for necessary lumber, and no waste will come of it, and that the creatures of the forests will be hunted for food, and not for sport. I know some druids who would be very unhappy should either of those be broken." I turn towards the group "Well, as we will be traveling together, I must ask you to respect nature, and the forest. So long as you do, I shall help guide you through it, so that we may make it to this cleric as quickly as possible." Dorak blinks and then shrugs. Respect nature? I am no Troll to destroy nature, or a human who does wanton destruction. Wouldnt want to destroy anything above ground anyway.

Nodding slightly to the question given to her, Kyte responded, "I shall."
Raising her voice slightly, she continued, "My name is Kyte. It seems that your quest is now mine as well." A perfect challenge. she thought to herself, smiling slightly.

Dorak walks to the front gates and greets Deerhunter and the other elf. While waiting for the others to join them he again takes out the block of wood and begins carving it.

Bowing deeply to the new member of the party Dimitri smiles(with his blood-rubies eyes, seeing how his face is still covered with a hood and cowl) and introduces himself. "Hello, my name is Dimitri Fate, this may not sound as I might intend it to, but between you and the gnome, who is going to be our main tracker? sweatdrop It is not that I doubt either's ability in their respected profession, but my curiosity begs for more information on the book in which we are to quest for. cool "
