They're beautiful! Out of curiousity, are you using the plant to represent North in the first picture?

I don't really keep an altar, for the most part. Having an 3 year old makes it difficult to keep things in their proper places. I keep my things in a trunk that sits in my bedroom. When I need to cast, I move the trunk into position, and get what I need out, then set up on the trunk's lid. It's pretty convenient, and I don't have to worry about him getting into things that he shouldn't.

I have taught them not to touch my altar unless mommy says it is ok. They keep some things on it too. My son ( cool keeps his rocks, and my daughter(3) puts her amythist bracelet that she wears on it. She knows not to touch unless i tell her too.

I can teach him one day not to touch something and the next day he may be right back at it. So until he's a little older and able to consistently respect boundaries, I keep my things put away.

Okey doke! Thank you. The wildflowers around here are starting to come up... I was thinking about drying a few to put on the stand that I've been associating with the idea of an altar.

RavenWildangel Our altar is small and very simple ^^ But it's sad that I can't picture it =[ if you have a camera phone, you can always take a picture of it, then send it to a photobucket account. That is what I did to get my Scrying mirror up.
