(Muahaha! Yay, I win. Omigoodness. You made me burst out laughing with the freaking Kamiss out thing. Aha.)
She had turned her fight into a macabre dance. Had she been on stage, the audience would have fled in terror, for her costume was of blood and in her eyes flared a rage she could hardly control. These demons would not best her, she was darker than they. She made a lance of ice, calling the vapos from the very air to create it. It pierced the black, steely heart of a demon, and then more rained from the sky as she cursed them all.
Following, vines that had crept silent and unseen from inside the ruined houses, sprouting from seeds left unattended, slipped 'round demonic throats, strangling and growing into leafy deathshrouds. Aryl stumbled only once, catching her foot on an upturned blade, but then she ran on without a sound, leaving a line of blood in her wake.
(I am having SO much fun.)

(I bet. BTW Lyra in Blackblood is the same Aryl, but she doesn't go pyscho-maniac-scare-kamiss thingy, ok? Thank you for your cooperation and we hope you will fly with...... Nah, Muffin Air is unoriginal.... ok we hope you'll fly with Llama Frog Flight Service at least two more times before being eaten by ravenous Sea Monkeys)
With an angry roar, Kamiss threw himself at the nearest demon, splitting it throat to navel. He slashed open the stomach of another, and yet another's head went flying. He too flew through the air, carving a path through which Simakk followed, slicing all that drew near. He tossed his sword into the air and crushed two demons against each other, which the sword impaled as it came down. Simakk withdrew his sword and leapt to Kamiss, the two standing back to back as the demon's neared. Kamiss readied his hand for a burst of hellfire, but instead of ball of blue light came out, exploding and throwing twenty demons through the air. Not all died, but at least it took at more demons than hellfire, if not as effectivly. "Where'd that come from?" Kamiss asked, looking at his palm. He ducked as a demon cut a sword where his head had just been, then he slammed his palm into the demon's stomach. It flew back two hundred feet, landing in a group of its allies, whose weapons impaled the demon.

(Maybe after this war, she has a moment like Kamiss did, that brought out Simakk, and insteading of splitting in two, she just walked through her counterpart and became the peaceful Lyra. *shrug*
rofl Yay Sea Monkeys!)
It was draining, this wound. Though small, it sapped her insane energy, making her weak and tired. She had not realized that the demons' weapons carried poisoned blades. She collapsed momentarily, behind and old woodshed. She took an herbal paste from her pack and, tearing strips from her clothing, bound the gash. In seconds the pain had receded, and she marveled at the knowledge she apparently bore. She was up and fighting, though not as amorously, when the first demon crashed over the shed wall.
He had been cleaved in two before his eyes could even register the fact that she wasn ow unharmed. More behind him, also enthralle dbyu the thought of a wounded enemy, had hesitation shining in their eyes as they poured over the shed, and died on eby one, falling silently in a heap that Aryl quickly climbed. From the shed roof, she could make it to a shattered one-story building, and from there the more sturdy roof of a villa. She gazed across this bleak domain, and with a whisper, called on the powers of earth to smothered it in the very essence of Gaia.
The rumbling was faint at first, then picked up speed. The buildings around Aryl's chosen perch shook, then crumbled to dust. The land before her split, swallowing the horde that had been rushing for her, and nearly claiming the warriors Kamiss and Simakk. The chasm slid to a sonorous close as they neared they edge, however, and Lyra sat calmly down, feet dangling over the roof of the mansion she stood upon. Waiting.

(Maybe she kills her evil part. Nah, that's too Heroes. Maybe she just tells it to shut the sea monkey up.)
Kamiss broke through the earth with a fist, withdrew it, and punched a hole for his face. Simakk struggled through a few meters away from him. The moving earth had toppled over them and frozen together. "WATCH WHERE THE HELL YOU'RE AIMING!" He yelled as he dashed towards the mansion, running up the side of the wall. He glared at Aryl as he ran next to her. As he reached the top spire he backflipped off, shooting back faster than seemed possibly, back to the demon horde. Zero ran beside him, Kamiss matching his brother's demonic speed for the first time. "Too fast to be caught in the earth wave?" Kamiss asked his brother.
"Hell yeah!" Zero said, leaping ahead and moving in on the demons.
"Damn lucky!" Kamiss said, rushing beside Zero.

She shrugged off his glare. After all, she hadn't caught them up in the quake intentionally. As he and his leapt away, Aryl's attention was captured by a floating spore. The seed twirled, effortlessly floating on the wind.
A plant seed... I wonder where that came from. There are no living fields around here...
She caught in her hand, let it cling to her fingertip for a moment, then blew it away, letting her attention fall back to the world around them. Kamiss was being stalked, rather quickly, by a large pack of demons that would surround him in moment. Aryl smirked.
As Kamiss whirled, noticing his followers, they stopped midstride. The mud they sturned in, churned soil mixed with inearthly blood, lifted and froze, crashing down in a hail of dagger-shards. The demons were rent into shreds, and Aryl waved to Kamiss, as if to say, "Your turn."
("He and his" meaning he and his crew, group, or what have you.)

(Thankee. Also, about 3 more posts and this fight is onver. Something is gonna happen. Something big.)
Kamiss nodded at Aryl, and in return blasted the demon right behind her shoulder with hellfire. "WATCH YOUR OWN BACK, TOO!" He yelled, and charged at the front lines of the demons, who had formed into a solid wall of black. His blade also burt forth with black hellfire, and he cut down the first demon, leaping past it several rows and cutting down three demons in a split-second swing. Zero came by, shoulder slamming a nearby demon, toppling more over which Kamiss burned, then gave Zero a little push with his mind. Zero nodded at him as he flew away, and Kamiss leapt farther into the ranks. He was all alone, he knew it, and he liked the prospect. He eyes burned black as his brothers for one moment, fire started raise out of cracks in the ground, and then white as the ground burst open from the weight of his mind, hellfire pouring forth like molten obsidian.

Aryl was not surprised by the demon behind her. Though, in truth, she had not known he was there, and the prospect of being so near death had Kamiss not noticed was a daunting one, she did not feel the fear she normally would have. She dove off the roof, rolling into a ball as she landed, and sprung up fighting. The demons seemed to be lessening, but it culd be only because they were massing around Kamiss. She would let him fight that battle alone.
Rapier still razor sharp after tasting so much demonflesh, she slid it silently between the ribcage of a tell demon, the blade point coming to rest in the jugular vein of a lesser demon behind him. She sliced it sideways, ripping the flesh, and took off another demon's arm at the elbow. She was getting tired of fighting, the fervor she had experienced was fading, but she would still fight until either they killed her, or she conquered all.

Kamiss felt power flow through him in a rush, like taking a plunge into water. It coursed in his veins, leaving him cold as ice. He held out his hand and a blue-white wave, shimmering like the stars, flew forth, some demons flying from the impact of the energy and others crumpling underneath it. IT continued farther and farther, fading slowly, and it dissappated(*sp?) shortly before reaching the mansion. The wind started chruning over the area and rain started falling. Though cold, the rain was naught compared to the power that spung from Kamiss. Kamiss' head snapped up from his moment's reprieve, and he saw two eight-foot demons heading towards him. Two more demons sped past him, moving fast as Zero.
(These new demons are to temper the power of our characetrs. The big ones are strong as Kamiss, so he cant kill them too easy, but Zero's speed can take them down. The speedy ones are tough fro Zero, but Kamiss can just blast them. Sorta like rock-paper-scissors, I decided each char needs to be weak versus one type of demon. Grunts still suck tho mrgreen )

Aryl pushed through the dead without flinching, knowing should she hesitate, she would die. She took out a grunt, another, another. Their blood stained her arms nearly to the shoulder, and a bold tatoo of tribal anger seemed painted on her face, though no ink had inscribed the design. She could dimly sense Kamiss, Simakk, and Zero, but they didn't seem as vibrant as they had in her mind's eye before. Oh well. She paused in her forward trudge to decapiate a lesser demon, not an easy feet with a thin rapier.

(They have minor control over the elements, but not even close to Lyra's. Lots of them can do lots of damage though.)
Zero spun in the air, twisting to his right, moving over the swinging blade, and brought his katana up to block the other attacker. He threw his knife at the first demon, taking it in the head. It did not fall, but rather turned towards Zero, taking a step forward, and it collapsed. Zero sighed and sped toward the second demon, their swords clashing.
Kamiss leaped at the Behemoth, but it batted him aside, and a resounding crack could be heard as Kamiss' left arm and a rib snapped. The rib quickly healed, but he was out of breath, and his left arm wasn't pulling itself together. Simakk rushed forward, hamstringing the leg of the BEhemoth. It roared, raising its foot, and stomping down on Simakk. Kamiss ran forward, leaping, and smashed the hilt of his sword into its face, before falling, turning and removing it of his legs. He walked forward, the second Behemoth charging him, and stabbed the legless creature through the forehead. He withdrew his sword, balancing it one-handed, ready once more to die. His head snapped to the right, looking over the demon's shoulder, and laser fire scoured the back of the Behemoth. A familiar face came barreling past, catching the abomination in the chest, tipping it over. It punched the Behemoth, and its head smashed like a grape. "KRAE!" Kamiss called. The sniper slid down from a building, running over, kicking two demons on the way. "Reilarm. Reilarm!" Reilarm was smaller than the two other men, skinnier too, but from the way he was moving Kamiss could see he was calculating everything around him. "We need your help. We're getting voerwhelmed; new demons are here." Krae nodded and Reilarm whistled. From behind the nearby buildings a rush of humans ran out, shooting lasers into the nearby demons.

(I love how you're five people now. ^_^ And every time I see the word Behemoth, I think of the awesome thing from Kingdom Hearts. XD)
Aryl was tiring as well, her powers slightly waning. She heaved an ice lance through (Almost typed threw.) the eye of one demon, pierced the heart of another with a stony spear, and ripped the arms from another with a vicious wind. But there were so many more...
Still, she kept at it, using less original ways to kill, and just tearing each demon apart as it came, be it with rapier, wind, earth, or ice.

Zero whipped around behind the demon, brought up the free katana and sliced the head in 2.He pulls his katana out, turns around, and takes a dagger to the right shoulder.He sheathes his left katana quickly and pulls out the dagger, before running towards another demon and colliding sword to sword with it.He whips his arm back and throws the dagger at the demon behind the one that he has engaged, killing the demon.

Krae barreled at another Behemoth, crushing it with the flat of his axe. Kamiss leapt at its head, running it through between the eyes, and Reilarm covered them, shooting at any demons getting near. He slipped a switch on his rifle and unfolded two parts of the barrel, revealing a second. This zoomed out and Reilarm crouched. He pulled the trigger and nailed a General in the heart with accuracy akin to a sniper. It stumbled forward a few feet, dropping its sword, which Kamiss threw into another demon with his mind. While those three held their ground, Simakk moved through the weakening tides of demons, heading towards Lyra and Zero.
