Aomori at first felt assured that she would eventually find her long-missing and likely in-a-state-of-anxiety twin, which was somehow shocking considering that Aomori was convinced that she at least looked distinguishable enough from the other.
Regardless, despite Aomori's ability to recall the information fed by her mentor Lepus, Aomori frankly had little clue on what in the world is going on except that as an up-and-coming chibi senshi, she had some duties to fulfill. All she knew was that she was separated from her twin and for once, that's probably not the best idea now. She powdered up before long from an undetermined tingling nudge and went off in search of her twin and whoever else she recognized. And thus, she headed towards the location as marked.
She tried her best to scrutinize the signatures she could discern if at all at the gathering point, and eventually found herself in front of a very particular crowd.
"Aha! I've finally, finally found you two, Hokkaido and Lepus!" Aomori hollered as she tried catching her breath. "Soo.. what in the world is going on?!"
Having lived in a cattery run by a very lovely French lady as a kitten (an actual kitten, and not a magic talking cat whose aging had largely halted), Etoile… knew some French. She could parrot back simple phrases, especially if she heard them often enough while watching TV, and had a very basic understanding in general, enough to lend some credibility to Alise’s cover story about her being the teen’s cousin from France.
When it came to holding a conversation, however? She could get the general message conveyed by Charybdis, for example, but when Pollux started speaking to her in French… Well, Etoile looked up at the Senshi of Frost with a very dumb (and blank) look on her face, before looking up at Charybdis, whispering to the Chibi Senshi of Seals.
Name: Beta Leporis Location: E3 “Leave me alone,” Beta hissed, not bothering to turn bodily around to face the woman shadowing her. Behind her, the footsteps only quickened to match her long strides. Alpha must have been lurking around her dorm room. That was the only way that she would have been able to catch up with her so quickly. And honestly, when Beta had received that text she knew that she’d have to deal with her sister anyway.
But knowing didn’t mean that she had to like it.
“I’m watching out for you,” Alpha answered, unfazed by Beta’s hissing. Or at least it sounded like she was.
“Because you have such a stellar track record of that, don’t you,” Beta shot back. She had long since stopped feeling bad about the barbs she threw at her sister. If she wasn’t going to even try to mend their relationship, then why should Beta? Still, she heard Alpha’s steps behind her falter, allowing Beta to slip a little further ahead. She finally came to a stop next to Lepus, and was about to greet her friend before she noticed who was with her.
“There are children here,” she said simply, less stating a face, and more discovering what she was seeing out loud. It took her a moment to recover before she finally saw the other people around, most of them fantastically strong like the Prince who was, evidently, the one of the kids’ brother.
At least they were well looked after, so Beta wasn’t terribly worried. After all, when they’d met Lepus she was a child. And she’d survived just fine.
“Lepus,” she finally greeted with a smile. “It looks like we finally made it. The end of the line.”
Beta didn’t want to let herself hope but… it was hard not to.

Name: Alpha Leporis Location: E3
Of course Alpha had been lurking around Beta’s dorm recently. Ever since the arrival of the aliens, Alpha had been keeping close tabs on her sister, and once the notification arrived, she ran faster than she ever had before to her dorm and waited for her to leave. But curse Beta’s long legs, causing Alpha to maintain a swift jog to keep from losing her sister.
“Leave me alone,” came her sister’s acid hiss once they neared the site of the eventual battle. Alpha winced, but refused to let the pain show in her voice.
“I’m watching out for you,” she answered instead. But when her sister answered with another acidic attack, Alpha faltered. But still, she recovered, and kept her pace, even if it was now a bit more behind.
When Beta finally stopped next to their friend, she was about to greet Lepus with a warm hug, but stopped at Beta’s realization. She blinked at the chibi as well and panicked for a moment. This wasn’t a place for kids, right? She looked at Beta who recovered from her surprise fantastically easily, and then around at the other people. One of the older senshi, a prince, was furiously typing on his phone. No one else seemed worried, so Alpha should relax, right?
Beta speaking again shook her out of her shock and she took her turn greeting Lepus with her planned embrace.
At the Eternal’s question of what the plan was, she grinned stupidly and flex her bicep.
“Plan? Fairly simple, right? Give ‘em hell! Just like we always do!”
She heard Beta groan and watched her pass to the other side of their friend, but refused to be embarrassed.
Actaea looked at the Cadet that was near her, she wondered if they thought this plan was as foolhardy as she did. "Do you think this will work?" She asked them keeping her voice down. She looked around at the weapon and the generators frowning this didn't seem like an order thing to do to her. She looked at the Vanguardian all around the clearing wondering if they were helping or about to cause the biggest disaster that destiny city had ever seen. Still no matter what Actaea wouldn't run she was going to stand her ground and be here to pick up the pieces if everything went wrong.
Silistra stood nervously off to the side she was worried about this what could go wrong, who could get hurt. Would anyone die if this went sideways? She looked around some looked as nervous as she felt others looked happy and confident. They didn't know much about these new figures and yet they were putting a lot of trust in them all of the sudden. She let out a breath to try to calm her nerves and it didn't work much. She wouldn't leave no matter what happened she was convinced they would have injured before this was all said and done.
Things never went according to plan. This was supposed to be a quiet evening, but--no. They’d all had to get a notification that it was time. There hadn’t been much question on if they should go or not--they were all committed to protecting Destiny City, and when there were so many other things going on, how could they ignore this call?
For better or worse, they’d come together to investigate.
The Court was there, not in full, but with enough of them that if something went wrong they at least had the power to support each other. The whole house had shown up, together, and met up with the others.
Malus, Necromanteion, and Lupu were supposed to watch a movie. Mont Saint Michel was supposed to take Lysithea out for dinner because--well, she’d been out of it of late and he knew something was on her mind and he wanted to talk about it. Soleiyu was supposed to finish his update on the home security.
The universe had other plans.
Adria had found them quickly, because of course he was looking for them; he didn’t like to be in any great group, alone, and he was relieved to be among friends.
Even if he still felt like an outlier.
Monoceros arrived, and he felt like he could breathe a little bit.
He didn’t know what was going on, but he knew that they’d be better off together.
Adria remembered the ambush last time. He remembered going into the Dark Kingdom. He still had souvenirs, not that he was really impressed to say as much. He hoped there wasn’t going to be any sort of dragon this time.
He hoped it was going to go right this time.
As they spread across the field, they stuck together; there was a patch between three generators that seemed reasonable to hang out in, at least until they knew what was going on. There were a few people already there, but the space seemed big enough for everyone.
Adria didn’t really care where he went, as long as he knew he wasn’t alone.

Character name, rank, and a link to their journalCoco guardian cat Location: E2
Coco was late on the scene she had little legs and could only move so fast. She was out of breath when she finally got there and a very confused little cat. She looked around at everything and everyone and blinked a little calico cat that had no idea what was going on. She got the message and was expecting a battle not a whatever this was. She sat down and waited to see what was going to happen. She couldn't do a lot to help but she would be here anyway. She looked about curiously wondering what was going to happen next.
Dejanira had gotten the message on her scout phone but it had taken her time to get to the location, she saw the crowd that was gathered and she frowned what on earth was all of this. She smoothed her skirt down and watched the others around her. She didn't really know what was going on but she would do what she could to help whatever the situation was. She wished she had gotten here sooner she had a bad feeling about this with the energy in the air. There was so much nervous energy this couldn't be good. At least she didn't think so.
Lacaille was still very new to being a senshi, she had only recently found out she was a senshi at all. She huffed as she arrived late to whatever this was. She looked around and blinked when she saw the message in the air she hadn't expected this was what she would find when she got here. She tilted her head and looked around for someone who could fill her in on what was going on. She wanted to know what was about to happen so she could plan and help with whatever this was. "Umm?? Sorry I'm late.." She said.
Tachibana noticed Ida and a guardian cat deciding if a fight was about to happen it would be best to stick to her and provide support "Ida-nee" She called out as she hurried over to her.
The ongoing conversations in foreign languages went right over Hokkaido’s head, seeing as the only languages she spoke were Japanese and English, her proficiency in both being absolutely abhorrent, despite the twins having a genius for a father who was bilingual and who had spent his childhood in America. Charybdis was offering her protection as an older chibi senshi, though, and Hokkaido took the proffered hand, finding solace in having another older senshi she could turn to that wasn’t Lepus. Not that there was anything super wrong with Lepus, but, well, that is…
Well, Aomori could have Lepus. Hokkaido really preferred being potentially mentored by someone else.
“Um… r-right!” Hokkaido squeaked, in response to Charybdis. Running away was good, running away from everything scary was Hokkaido’s specialty, and she could even use her magic to help, sort of. Like… like…
Like that time she and Aomori had been spooked by the specter in the garden maze last summer, and had taken off running in opposite directions.
Speaking of Aomori… her twin had finally showed up, apparently completely oblivious to the situation at hand, and Hokkaido gave her twin a long-suffering look, feeling relief at the knowledge she was alright and had not been eaten by a monster, but then also… more than a little upset at having been left to deal with Lepus on her own??? “Aomori! Where… w-where were you???” the green-haired girl asked her twin, not leaving Charybdis’ side, “Lepus got us mixed up again…”
Arthuradel was happy to see the knight who had saved her again and she wished she could speak with her more but they had to prepare to fight "Kinda, it doesn't actually damage anyone just can knock them around." She answered Guinevere.
Yomi nodded at Aoki as he summoned his sword as he looked to the senshi his brother had called over. "Friend of yours's, nii-san?" He asked absently as he took a combat stance. He was a bit nervous this would be his first time using his new magic and his first fight against the Negaverse as Yomi. He wondered if Ashanite would come.
Ara noticed Charybdis, she was surprised to see her there she thought she wasn't coming but she was happy she wanted to fight by her best friend in all this. "I'm gonna go fight by her don't worry I'll make sure she doesn't get hurt." She promised Scylla as she headed over.
"Charybdis" She called as she ran over and and hugged her best friend. "I'm glad you're here. I didn't want to have to fight without my partner." She looked around at the other's nearby it seemed they had powerful friends surrounding them.
Vaylin made her way to where there defenses seemed a bit a thin, an area with only two of her fellow cadets. "Yddagen, Lysvi are you two ready?" She asked making small talk with her fellows as she did some simple stretches and took a few practice swings with her dagger.
