Just thought I'd let you all know that I made the kitty litter cake. It was hilarious. I showed my uncle and at first he thought it was the real deal.
I do have a few suggestions for anyone that wants to make it. Don't use a food processor for the cookies or the pieces will be too fine. Put the cookies in a baggie and bang them on the counter or something of that sort so you have larger pieces. If you don't the cake turns out very different. Second, overbake the cakes. Now, I'm not saying burn them or anything, but just leave them in for a few more minutes so they're not so moist. If you don't do this it'll come out like mush. Along with the whole mush thing... don't use all the pudding that you mixed up. Just use enough that it moistens a bit and sticks together.
That covers it for preperations. If you make it ahead and refridgerate it, be careful when eatting the tootsie rolls as they'll be a bit hard. You could probably avoid that by saving the tootsie rolls until you're ready to serve it or set it out. They're really quick to set up (like playing with play-doh).

Jiggalicious Heh, I forgot devilled eggs. Mom made some very different ones...ones without pickle relish! I always find the sweet ones to be wrong. I'm a sucker for salty and savory. If you give me chocolate and cheese and ask me to choose one...I go all sorts of gimme hands for the cheese! I do mine with VERY finely minced onion and green tomato relish that I can myself. (It's awesome! AND it doesn't taste a bit like regular relish. I can't eat that stuff now that I am spoiled on mine. *grin*) My grandmother and my mom both used to can green tomato relish... Mmmmmm on a grilled cheese sandwich! (I got my neighbor hooked on it that way too. LoL)

One of my all time favorites is Mac'n'cheese. But I make it the way my mom showed me which is full of flavor, super easy to make, and so creamy its a sure win!
All you need is: 1 bag macaroni (shells, elbows, whatever you like) 1 can Campells Cheddar Cheese 1 can Campells Cream of Chicken and cheddar cheese (shredded or sliced, I prefer sliced) (try other cheeses too, its yummy!) What to do: Cook the pasta like normal and drain. Then return the cooked pasta to the empty pot (or a big bowl if you prefer) and mix in the two cans of condensed soup. After its all mixed together layer the pasta in a cassarole dish alternating between pasta and cheese. (don't forget to top it off with the cheese!) Then cover the dish and heat it up either in the microwave for 10-15 minutes, or in the oven.(You're just warming it all up, and melting the cheese). Then serve! It really makes quite a bit, and you'll be surprised at how much flavor this has!
yummm...now I want to make this. sweatdrop

My friend makes these brownies from scratch... She REFUSES to tell me the recipe. Everytime there's a party, I demand she bring her brownies. Then I eat too many, but they're soooo good!
The only part of the recipe I know is this: there is twice as much sugar as there is flour.
No wonder I love them.

Even tho it is supposed to not be good for ya... I am secretly in luv with fried foods. The crunchier the better. I make some smokin fried chicken (it's all in the spices and bread crumb-wondra mixture). Some new recipes would be nice tho.... wink cool cheese_whine
