Character: Guadalupe Score: 0 Response: "You're telling me." He muttered under his breath at Devon's remark. The little alien bug seemed to take offense to that as it backed up a step. "No, no, no, no." He let out a sigh, collapsing back into the cage. "God damn it..."
"You don't happen to know how to get these little buggers to help out, do ya?" he looked at Devon, desperate. Really, he'd sit on his head if it meant getting out of this cage and to Maoli. "You haven't seen a bakeneko blabbering about aliens, have ya?" Maoli was very hard to miss, he was such a loud mouth. [wc: 103]

Character: Coralynne Score: 1 Response: Searching through the forest for the forest team had ended just as bad for Coralynne as it had for the crew she was looking for. Forest hadn’t seemed so bad but it had turned out much worst then Coralynne had given the rumors credit. Where are am I now? Her head was clearer then when she had been in the forest but now, she was as lost as ever. “Hello?!?” she called out into the new environment around her. “Is anyone out there? Can anyone hear me?” she called once again. It was long shot, but she had to know if she was alone. [wc: 104 ] ((Coralynne is open for interaction!))

Character: Coralynne Score: 2 Response: No dummy if there was, they would answer you, her muse mocked. You know you really aren’t as helpful as you think you are. Coralynne pointed out to her muse. And you know you are talking to yourself? Her muse snapped back and stuck her tong out. This wasn’t helpful at all. Coralynne turned in a circle and looked around. It appeared that she was in a wooden cage of some kind, but it was still dark and she just wasn’t sure if anyone else was around her. The cage swayed back a forth as she moved, which stated to make she feel a little motion sickness.

Character: Coralynne Score: 3 Response: “Sitting still it good I think.” Coralynne sat back down to stop the movement. “Ok well there isn’t much you can do stuck in a cage?” She could try and escape, but she didn’t really think running back around the forest lost and alone was a good idea. No, she would wait until the days light came back up and see who if anyone was around and maybe together, they could make a plan for escape. Just above her, Coralynne notices some movement. There seems to be some type of insect running around the tree her cage is hanging from.

Character: Ligeia Score: 1 Response: Urgh...What was going on? There was the rustle of leaves, the creak of, what was it, rope? Her trio of eyes flickered open, a groan immediately rising from her throat. The sunlight stung her eyes and her head throbbed. Ligeia brought her hands to her face to press the heels of her palms against her eyes. Sitting up, the uneasy realization came to her attention. She, and everyone else by the sound of it, had been captured, drugged, and suspended in wooden cages, held aloft in the canopy by rope supports. How high up she couldn’t exactly say, the foliage was too dense to see the forest floor. Was there a door she could try or had these things been built around them?
Trying to make sense of her surroundings, she became aware of the scuttling insect life that busily scaled and descended the trees from which they were hung. Odd colorful things. Ligeia felt sluggish as she shifted to press against the wooden walls of her arboreal prison. “What are you?”
A sobering thought stuck her at watching these little bugs. Where was Udara? Where were her things? Who had taken them?! Just how sturdy were these cages? How many were there to be able to capture the entire search party?

Character name: DevonPoints: 0 (Out of rolls for the day) RP response: Devon turned towards the sound of the voice that answered them. Their sight was still slightly blurry around the edges. It took them a moment to spot the nixie that was speaking to them. "I do not know how to convince insects to do anything. Unless they eat wood at a very rapid pace, I do not know how they would help. I am not an entomologist." They looked down at their hands that were now folded in their lap. It seemed that they were turning out to be rather useless on this trip. It looked more and more like they should never had come. They didn't have any way to help anyone. Useless, useless, useless. "I have not seen a bakeneko talking about aliens, no. Perhaps they have not been captured, or perhaps they have and whatever drugs are in their system still have them unconscious." They shrugged before reaching up and messaging their temples. Character: Saiph Score: 2 Response: Saiph was startled to hear a response, although the voice was not Troy's. "Y-yeah, I'm... in one piece." Saiph attempted to find a volume where it wasn't so loud their head hurt, but loud enough to still be heard. "I was part of the plains' group. How about you?" Saiph had to figure out if anyone else from their original party was around or not.
Then Saiph heard a voice in the distance that was familiar. "Jin?" They took a deep breath, prepared for the pain, and tried being louder. "Jin? It's Saiph!"
Next there was Eir's shouts. After calling out their names, the Grimm could be heard cursing and growling. Eir was mad, that was for sure. Once again, Saiph steady themselves to shout. "You two okay?" Ow.
There was more voices and commotion going on as others started waking up. Sounded like there was a lot of them hanging up in the trees. So much so the noise almost drowned out the forests' creatures.

Character Name: BlitzenScore: 1 RP Response: You can imagine Blitzen's discomfort when she found out that no one in the forest group, beyond herself, had returned. She didn't voice that she had been apart of the group, better for things just to play out, she thought. Only then, things played out with the rest of them going into the forest to hunt for the others anyway.
Blitzen didn't remember when she blacked out, but when she woke up, she was in a wooden cage, high above the forest floor. Blitzen suddenly became very still. Typically, she didn't mind heights, when she was in control of the situation. However, hanging precariously in this cage was the opposite of in control and her discomfort began to grow when she caught sight of the skittering creatures in the branches above.
However, she also caught sight of other cages, presumably with other Nightmares and Daydreams dangling within, so she slowly pressed her mouth to one of the spaces in her cage, trying not to make her cage sway. "H-Hello...?"((Blitzen is open to interactions!))

Character Name: Mao Score: 1 RP Response: Maoli didn't want to wake up, even with the patterned and uncomfortable floor he was passed out on or the swaying of the room he was in sending his stomach into flips of nausea. He groaned, curling tighter, head pounding. He was planning on keeping his eyes squeezed shut until he fell back to sleep… until he felt something flutter on his face. Like… a bug. Eyes shooting open, he let out a yelp and immediately tried to brush at his face, to get whatever was on him off. His mild freak out shook the cage, bringing him aware of his surroundings. W-what?

Character Name: BlitzenScore: 2 RP Response: Blitzen didn't hear an immediate response to her attempt at communication. However, she did hear an audible yelp not too far away, which caused her to turn her head. She spotted a bakeneko, looking as disoriented as she felt. Inching closer to the side of the cage that would put her closer towards him, she felt her stomach give a lurch when she felt the cage begin to sway slightly.
Swallowing her fear, because there were ladies around, somewhere, she raised her voice, hoping to catch his attention.
"Hey!" She called to him. "How're you holding up?" She asked, but grimaced a little. "No pun intended."

Character Name: Mao Score: 2 RP Response: Swallowing heavily and crawling slowly on his hands and knees in the swaying and wooden cage, he stared fearfully at the ground. It was so… so far below him. He was too high up. Sucking in a deep breath, he suddenly scrambled against the edge of the cage, hands gripping the wooden bars of the cage. Wood. It was all wood. Sturdy seeming but all of a sudden, Maoli felt like it would fall apart any time now and send them down. Maybe the height was big enough to kill them? But splintered wood… He sucked in another breath. No, any height could be deadly, you just needed to land wrong. The higher, the more the possibility. There was a lot of possibility in this height. Character Name: Mao Score: 3 RP Response: A voice spoke out near him. There was… someone else? Now that he thought about it, there was other cages being held up. Was ‘lupe in one of them? Had he’d been captured? Hopefully not; that idiot would annoy someone and probably get himself hurt… or worse. Turning his head and swallowing heavily, he pressed his face against the wood, eyes nearly glowing in the near darkness as they gathered as much light as possible. ”H-Hello?” A pun. A pun was what he got. A broken laugh escaped his throat, which caused his head to throb painfully. He swallowed thickly. ”J-just hangin’ out,” he decided to retort hollowly. [wc: 108]

Character Name: BlitzenScore: 3 (no more rolls for me today!) RP Response: Blitzen cracked a smile at the returning joke from the other, but she cleared her throat. Her head ached, but she knew that curling up and/or screaming would do very little to solve her problems. She took a deep breaht.
"No, but really, how're you doing? Like, you're not... dying or anything, right?" She was trying to keep a level head, trying to think about what it would mean if some of them were hurt while others weren't. Thinking about potential clues or trying to hypothesize was never in her level of expertise, but given the circumstances, she was willing to try.

Character: Guadalupe Score: 1 Response: An entomologist. Gee whiz, that was a fancy word. This guy must have been some sort of intellectual. Even though Guadalupe was studying marine ecology, even he didn't really know what entomology was. First time he had ever heard of the word...or maybe it just glanced over his head. That seemed to happen a lot.
"Well, it was worth a shot." he grabbed a nearby twig and reached it towards the pink bug. That, weirdly, seemed to catch the bugs interest as it pattered it's way closer.
"You sure these things aren't aliens? And not...bugs?" They looked pretty foreign to me. Even though their body was leaf shape. Still..what a way to break Mao's heart, wherever he was at. Safe. he had to be safe. This guy sure as heck didn't know. Lupe sighed, his head hanging down. "I hope they're okay..." he trailed off, before glancing at the person he was talking to. "Hey, what's your name, pal? Didn't see ya on the trip here." Then again this crowd was large.
