Misery would eventually reach the arena, having not been able to follow them but asking around for how to get there. The phrase 'You can't miss it' kept being tossed around...but when he had no idea what it looked like that hardly helped him in finding it. Thankfully, one student was particularly forthcoming in information...along with a lot of useless information as well. So he kept that interaction short, and dismissed himself when the coming information proved of no use to him. Still, he had gleaned enough to know what to look for. And while he was still slightly angry at having been played so, he was moving in haste rather than begrudging leisure. This led him to arriving at the place shortly after the rest of his 'team'. Especially since he had spared no time in sight seeing. He could do that later when it was dark and there were far less spectators. His arrival seemed to be just in time, as it was when Z would ask for any rules to be set forth in their coming matches. Immediately, O would speak and say no crotch shots. Which took Misery a moment to gather of the area he was referring to. 'Why limit such an obvious point of weakness?' He wondered to himself but stayed silent on the matter. There were other easier to access weak points on a person, and if his opponent was to be the butterfly, it would do little good against it anyway. Though he wasn't quite sure if this was free for all or just one on one duels quite yet.
It was then the annoying butterfly would pipe up and say not to aim for her wings, or at the very least not to maim them. A flash of anger crossed his face before fading, feeling it was a reference to his own wings. While he was unsure if he noticed her, he could not help but feel it was targeted to him specifically. 'Only a butterfly would stoop so low to do so without provocation.' He silently thought to himself. As Misery would note that he had seemed to be noticed by Z earlier, he would only shake his head no. He did not care to add any trivial rules into what would apparently be a safe and risk free sparring match. He had been tempted to say that the fight only ends when the person submits, thoughts of hearing the butterfly do so in a fight appealing to him. But he decided against it. He did not want questioning of it or additions to make the coming fight any safer. So the moth would remain silent, not revealing his presence to O or the butterfly, but also not hiding if they chose to look behind them. As he was standing a good ten feet away from them. ☪ Post count: 10 ✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘ ▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄

To Oswald's response Zachariah gave a shocked but agreeable nod. "Yeah, that's a very good rule!" The thought of getting kicked at the shaft made him slightly cringe, yet he could imagine only Diana to be the one giving that devastating kick; A careful glance over to the lady butterfly. All suspicion soon left Zachariah when Diana gave a rather specific rule, to which he gave only calm words. "Sounds reasonable." A thought ran through his mind and Zachariah questioned just how fragile were Diana's wings. It must be amazing to be able to see the world from on high, but if it came at the cost of plummeting down to earth Zachariah felt uncertain whether he'd want such a gift or not. With thoughts already based on wings Zachariah glanced just beyond Oswald and Diana with his youthful gray eyes silently asking Miserorum the same question as the others; By this moment the others perhaps noticing the last combatant to show up.
With the silent swordsman giving his signal the raven haired knight understood, and a confident smile soon took over. "Now that we've got all of that settled lets get to our corners and get ready to rumble!" Zachariah quickly rushed over to the bottom right-hand corner of the ring, that is if you had a birdseye view of the place, and there he waited for the others to situate themselves.
Once the rest of the team was set Zachariah began the countdown. "Three!... Two!... One!" With the sparring match now commencing Zachariah drew his swords from their scabbards at his sides and charged at Oswald, ready to give two horizontal slashes.

"It is time to get this s**t started." Oswald was so happy, it has been far too long since he unleashed his punches onto actual people. It was a sparring match so nothing lethal.
As the team walked to their own spots in this arena, Oswald listened to Zach as he started the countdown. Once he heard 'one' from Zach, Oswald pumped his knuckles together as metal covered his arms like armor.
Zach came rushing to Oswald; looking at Zach's hands the swords we're going at a horizontal slash.
Oswald responded with rushing towards him as he lowered his upper body and place one hand on the ground and did a sweep kick to the ground to knock Zack off balance and damage the use of his legs.

Diana blinked and would look behind herself when Zach seemed to look behind herself and Oswald. Her amethyst eyes widened slightly at the sight of seeing the shape and colors of the Moth. Sheepishly looking down for a moment, her cheeks colored ever-so-slightly."I didn't mean to offend him,"Diana thought sincerely as she felt the glare on her specifically. Then the color would fade and her attentions returned to their team captain."Alright,"She said calmly and smiled a little before heading to the top left corner while Zach counted.
"Oh dear,"Diana said under her breath when she noted that the human males were going for one another...That left her with M if they were to go in pairs after the count down. Her wings still damp, a lavender aura would activate all along her person since she was to enter a sparring match."Guess it cannot be helped."Her eyes would turn to the young Moth before the butterfly would gracefully and swiftly make her way to him."I guess it's you and me then,"The petite young woman said, stopping about a yard in front of him, and away from the other two. Taking out her sword over her heart, she would salute him."Will he return it,"the butterfly pondered slightly, taking a defensive stance after her salute...

She could not even hold eye contact with him, not that he would desire to with her. After Misery's silent acknowledgement to Z, they would split to different ends of the arena in order for this "sparring match" to begin. If this could be called that. As the corners were filled, Misery would take his own; the bottom left corner. Z would take bottom right, O top right...and the detestable butterfly would take top left. As Z began to count down, the moth had his gaze trained on the butterfly. While he understood this as a free for all...he did not trust her, and would not let her out of his sights. Still keeping a peripheral gaze on the others though, to ensure neither of them took advantage of him. His hand would rest on the hilt of his blade as he waited. 'Three, two, one.' He repeated silently in his head, as the other males took off as fast as they could towards one another; Z with dual swords, and O with some kind of metal arm covering thing. There were thoughts from the moth to join in on that clash...but his eyes were trained to the butterfly as she began to move. 'I knew it.' He thought to himself, gaze fully shifting to her as his grip on his blade tightened.
Misery would see a lavender aura overtake the butterfly, and not trusting her in the slightest, his own violet aura would briefly appear as it was activated. He knew not if it was her only activating it for defensive purposes to this...non-lethal spar...or if she intended to use her semblance as well. Regardless, he was not going to be caught off guard or leave her with an advantage against him. She would state the obvious, that it was him versus her, while stopping a yard from him. She would then take out her sword over her heart and salute him...that cursed butterfly salute they were fond of at times. Dark thoughts filled his mind, and even outwardly reflected in his face as he made no effort to hide them. There was no such bow he would grace a butterfly with; they did not deserve such things. Instead, he would only give her a few words of warning to signify the match had begun. "Let the fight begin." He would simply say, though there was venom in his words. He would fluidly draw his katana from its sheath in a practiced motion, holding it out in front of his with his right hand at the top of the hilt and left hand at the bottom. Then...he would approach the butterfly in calm steps, conserving his energy. If he were to get within striking distance, he would experimentally test her defenses by trying to strike for the sides of her body without fully committing and ready to bring the blade back to a defensive stance in case she tries to counter attack ☪ Post count: 11 ✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘ ▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄

When Zechariah seen Oswald begin charging at him, the swordsman instinctively knew his opponent was either very sure of his own skills or very foolhardy. Just as Zachariah was throwing his swings time felt slow, and he seen Oswald drop from his swipes. It was only thanks to his slimmest sword, Freyja, dropping just in time that Zechariah was able to defend from the kick using the broadside of his sword. Though he blocked the attack Zechariah was not able to black the force which shoved him some few feet away from Oswald; A small spark coming from Zechariah's blade as it scraped against the arena floor.
"I was right about you, Oswald." Zechariah smirked with a determination. "In terms of direct attack you've probably got the most firepower of us all." The swordsman then held his swords pointed at Oswald, allowing the mechanisms within to unlatch and let the swords slightly split to reveal the gunbarrel hidden inside the swords. With a pull of the triggers located by the handles of the swords Zechariah began unloading buckshots and rifle rounds from Freyr and Freyja, respectively, before then take steps back, walking towards the center of the arena, in order to put some more space between he and Oswald.

Oswald foresaw Zach's movements while a horizontal slash and countered with lowering his body below the attack. Zach's counter with a block with the use of his swords would do him no good Oswald thought. "Not good Zach."
"Thanks for the compliment." Zach gave himself a distance against Oswald, who can blame him. Even with the use of blocking with his sword, he must have felt the 'would be damage' if his kick landed on Zach's legs. Oswald observed what Zach was doing, his swords were changing. "Really? You one of that long-ranger"
He rushed immediately to Zach trying to close the distance after the counter was made. "You think I'mma give you that chance."

Diana expected nothing less from the Moth, but was respectful nonetheless. Her amethyst eyes read what was so clear in her opponent's eyes, responding with a slight smile as both insectile faunuses has swords drawn, hers calmly yet firmly in her right as she allowed him time to draw his own."If he were facing my cousin, she probably would not give him such a chance...But I shall not lose,"Diana thought. Within range now, she would meet and parry his strikes to her side with her blade. With her wings still damp, she could not fly."He must be toying with me."The petite young woman thought, wondering what he had been waiting for. Parrying the other side strike, she would push back as she took a step forward. Testing his movement in a way, rather than attacking just yet."This shall be interesting,"the butterfly thought once the real test would begin...

The butterfly was no helpless novice, at the very least, given that she could parry his testing strikes. He wondered how long she would last or how well she would do once he stopped testing her however. He was trying to learn her movements and actions as she did, her not choosing to attack, and wondering if she would remain so passive. Before she would change the pace of the fight. As she parried a side strike, leaving blades locked in an X, close to when he was about to vary it to try and catch her off guard, she would try to wrest control by stepping forward to close the gap between them and make his own strikes more awkward/ harder to defend himself. Or so he assumed. While she had her blade up in the right hand, an idea came to his mind and he tried to execute it. As she stepped forward he did take a half step back in surprise...before he would use his strength to his advantage. With blades crossed in an X, he would not let her keep control. He would try to push her back with his blade against hers and at the same time step forward to close distance even more between them so their blades would not be as effective. He didn't need a katana to fight, after all. At least in his mind.
If it worked where he pushed her back and stepped close to her, he would try to shoulder tackle her away. Even if he may risk a slash himself, he was relying on his aura to hold and positioning to make it not as effective. But that was just assuming he was able to get close.
If he was not able to close the distance or move her, he would focus on attacking her from the sides, above, below; any and every angle to find a break in her defense. Each strike he would make as powerful as he could while keeping control, using his two hand grip to help add power for the blows and bring it back into a defensive stance with each once (though not at all impenetrable). He was no longer holding back. ☪ Post count: 12 ✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘ ▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄

Oswald was fairly right about Zachariah's last move; Not good. Thought it was all meant to test the strength of a single strike of Oswald, Zachariah could still slight feel the vibration of the forced sword block in his left arm. It confirmed to the team leader that Oswald had a strong forward attack and now, with how quickly Oswald was closing the small gap between them, is was also confirmed that if the team was given a physical opponent then getting Oswald close to said opponent would perhaps be the best bet of them all. Still, tactics had to be inspected as well. With his training opponent dodging the bullets sprayed haphazardly Zachariah quickly smirked just as Oswald closed in. Just before Oswald could land a punch a loud thud sound rung out as a shield blocked the brunt of the attack. Freyja, his assault rifle, had began shifting into shield mode and it had been the perfect moment to counter.
With Oswald's punch being blocked by Zach's shield the swordsman only smirked at his opponent as a slyly thrown flashbang narrowly fell between the swordsman, Zachariah, and the brawler, Oswald. Without warning nor signal the blinding flash cracked along with an unearthly sound, Zach's raised shield blocking most of the flash for himself, which left Zach open to counter. Yet, instead of attacking Oswald, Zachariah had taken his unaffected moment to run back, gaining much space between he and Oswald, and then laying some shots from the shotgun spray from Freyr to force a space between Diana & Miserorum; The human boy thinking he was helping the butterfly girl with his concentrated barrage of bullets. Gray eyes stayed pin pointed to both the butterfly and moth just as he began laying down fire; His own way of reminding them both this practice match was still a free-for-all.

Oswald was charging at Zach, a simple frontal assault. His opponent, Zach had turned his weapon into a shield. He accepted Zach's challenge. When his fist came into contact with the shield, the next thing he saw was a bright lights.
He was blinded for a few seconds and then his eyes became blurry. Oswald realized that Zach didn't attack while he was adjusting his eyes. One thing came to mind when his eyes came back, 'Idiot'. Oswald knew this was a spar but it can't be when you aren't' focused on the practice. His eyes weren't were close enough of being perfect again after the flash. He dashed towards a silhouette that was moving away towards him. He thought that would be Zach.
Time to take things up a notch, he started shuffling his feet to his right, going to Zach's shield side as Oswald remembers.

As the deadly dance began, the butterfly, would test her wings discreetly; they were still a little wet."Damn, still no flight,"Diana thought, pouting quietly as their blades formed an X. With her step forward, she was pleased that she was able to surprise the moth boy."Glad I still get some reaction,"The petite young woman thought happily.
Her luck would change though as she felt the moth's strength. She herself lacking in that area would frown slightly, taking a step back when pushed/shoulder tackled back. She did not strike him though. It was not a comfortable feeling to be close."Yikes!!"the butterfly panicked and jumped back a couple steps at the sound and feel of a rush between the two. It took her a couple seconds to realize they had been fired at, giving the dark-haired human a side glare. If it wasn't for her aura, that may have been worse."Watch it,"the butterfly grumbled, attempting to guard, should the moth decide to attack her at that of distraction moment...

It still meant, to him, he was now dictating the steps and she forced to react to them. He was about to continue with his own plan, to take advantage of their closeness, when he heard the sound of gunfire. Having been focused on the butterfly, and with his own plan of action, he did not have enough time to dodge as he felt part of the blast hit him; though it was mostly absorbed by his aura. It still staggered him momentarily, leaving his footing unstable as he had almost been pushed off his feet. But the moth would quickly recover from the surprise and and move to catch himself, springing back away from the butterfly in case more shots were coming. The butterfly had been luckier than he; she had dodged away from the blast though he noticed she had not gone to attack him yet, in a guarded stance but keeping eyes on him. He did notice her give a side glare and followed the look to the source of the bullets; Z. 'Taking advantage to help the butterfly...' Misery thought, annoyed, that he was interfering. He did notice O still in pursuit of him...but since Z had interfered Misery felt it was only fair he interfered in turn.
Keeping one eye on the butterfly, Misery would draw a kunai from beneath his cloak and throw it at Z. Whether it would hit or not, he did not know. He hoped that, even if it missed, it would provide enough of a distraction for O to take advantage of as Misery had aimed it towards Z's chest. This was also about the time Z had shifted hit shooting to O, so hopefully that would help. Miserorum was honestly tempted to leave the butterfly and go after Z with O at this stage but...he couldn't trust the butterfly not to go for him if he did so. Eyes now fully on the butterfly, he would hold his katana with both hands and face towards her. With her being in a guarded stance, he slowly walked to his left. Almost as if he was trying to circle her. In truth, he was seeing how she would react. He wanted to make her move, of her own will, to be between him and Z so if Z interrupted again she would take the brunt of it. Regardless of if she did or not, he would go for the attack after seven steps. He would move to close the distance to her, and assuming he was within sword reach, he would go for a downward slash to her left side. This was only a bait though; his true intention was, assuming their blades crossed from her blocking, to use his silk right after to try and entangle her. If he had a clean shot to do so at least. If he didn't, he would focus on the attack to try and keep the butterfly on the defensive. ☪ Post count: 13 ✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘ ▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄

With his finger on the trigger of his shotgun-sword, Freyr, and his other hand holding his sword-shield, Freyja, Zachariah was rather proud of the moth and the butterfly for dodging his attack. Though it wasn't completely graceful the team leader was glad to see the others keep on their toes; Even finding humor in Diana's word of warning. He kept focused on the winged duo as they continued to face off and stayed aiming with his weapon. Before he could pull the trigger again Zachariah noticed Miserorum take some few steps which forced Diana between his line of sight to the moth, and with a moment of hesitation Zachariah couldn't bring himself to shoot the butterfly in the back.
A sudden punch to the face surely brought the raven haired knight back to reality as his body flew some feet before skidding on the ground and sliding to a stop. Feeling a little dizzy from the force, Zachariah wobbled to his feet quickly before then smirking over to the the team's cannon. "I guess I got a little cocky. I thought you'd be disorientated a moment longer." While his jaw did feel a little sore it was great thanks to Aura that Zachariah hadn't any broken teeth, or worse. Still, the pride of a man burned in the otherwise kind-hearted kinght, and with Freyja raised at Oswald the raven haired knight smiled slightly; A mixture of friend and foe as Zachariah ready to fight back. "But I won't take you as lightly another time. So come at me!"
After declaring a friendly challenge to Oswald, Zachariah would stab Freyr into the ground to visibly bring out a second smoke grenade out from under his coat. After a pull of the pin with his teeth Zachariah would simply drop it to his feet, allowing himself to be engulfed in a thick black cloud of low visibility. With the smoke grenade activated Zachariah raised Freyr and began unloading blindly from his position, shotgun pellets zooming out from the smoke with finally thin lines tracing them back to a random position within the smoke cloud. Most shoots seemed to be aimed to where Oswald was, and might be, yet on occasion the shotgun pellets would fly blindly to where Zachariah may have thought Diana & Miserorum may be dueling.

Oswald felt his punch connect to Z's face. Oswald's eyes weren't fully healded but just enough to see around him, though everything is a bit blurry, he can make out who is who, he can see where Zack is. But his direct spot to Zach's temple, that Oswald was aiming for missed. His eyes are a huge cost if he hit a clean vital shot, Zach would be out cold or disoriented at the least. He listened to Zach and said that he won't take Oswald lightly. That was a mistake.
"Zach, my next punch or two, is really going to hurt if they land. But out of curiosity, how did my punch feel like? Seriously, please answer....Hm?"
Oswald still could barely see, but the blurry vision, he made out a plume of smoke, his vision is getting better but still not perfect. Then he heard something, that was very dangerous. IT sounded like a gun reloading. Zach was in the smoke so he won't be able to see Oswald and vice versa. He ran around the plume of smoke to hopefully wait for it to subside.
"Screw you and your guns, Zach! Fight like a goddammed man"
