Resting her hand on his elbow, the weyrling smiled--but couldn’t quite help the warmth to her cheeks. “Now just follow me.” She started to sway, slowly to the tempo of the song.

Akaris plucked up a plate and surveyed the feast's offerings with interest, although her attention was soon tugged back to Rylyrr by the mention of a tour. "No, that you haven't," she purred, fingers snaking out to collect a variety of little cakes and assorted other sweets. There was no harm in having dessert first, now was there? "A big old Weyr like this, there must be all sorts of nooks and crannies and secrets."
