The Gryftoo gave him a pathetic look, mouth trembling. It looked on the verge of sobbing. Did these creatures even have the capability of sobbing? ”H-Hold on,” Vega gasped, straightening up and moving to the closest table. There was only treats and boas on this table. Frowning, she grabbed a bag of candy bark, rushing back to the pathetic familiar.
Vega had no idea as to whether this would be alright, feeding the familiar candy bark. But… a little bit shouldn’t hurt? He opened the bag hurriedly, snapping off a piece and holding it out to the Gryftoo. ”Here you are, have some!” Vega encouraged with a reassuring smile.
Danielle heard Chess apologize and the crestfallen tone in their voice made her regret snapping. She hadn't meant to seem so harsh. She sighed and looked over at the neko with a small smile. "I know you had the best intentions, Chess. Even though I think you can learn more about proper scheduling from all of this....I don't blame you for what happened afterwards. It's not your fault that I'm a social screw-up. It's been hard since...well....you know..." Dani sighed heavily and looked down; she tried hard not to think of her ex. That was a wound that was slow to close...excrutiatingly. She could already feel the threat of tears wanting to well up when a freshling approached her and handed her a cute plushie to add to her trinkets. She found herself smiling and took the little plush with a nod. "Thank you, sweetie. Here, have some of this in return." She gave a couple big chunks of her candy bark to the freshling who smiled brightly at her and said a thank you before toddling off happily. "What a sweet little thing...
Chess looked back at Dani and could see she was starting to think about them again before she even brought it up. They reached over and pat her shoulder carefully and tried to offer a smile. "Hey, I know. You don't have to talk about it...but that's why I think getting out is a good idea for you." They looked at the imp earnestly. "What happened was lousy....but that shouldn't stop you from being happy. Nine knows you deserve it; you're nice, smart and you make the best junk food. What's not to like?" They giggled when that got a small and sheepish laugh from their friend. When the freshling gave Dani the plushie, Chess smiled brighter. "See? Even kids know you deserve to be happy and want to see you smile....just as much as I desrve one of those fabulous boas!" Chess saw someone passing them out and got up to snag a bright pink one, wrapping it around their neck flamboyantly before coming back and leaning shoulder-to-shoulder with Dani. "Now we're both fabulous! Come on, vogue with me!" They struck a rather silly and exaggerated pose in a mocking attempt to be a model, which got another laugh from Dani; still got it!
Guzma decided to add to his candy variety and color palette with some green candies. He didn't know what they tasted like but he knew that all of these sweets were going to give him SUCH a sugar crash later. For now, there was only the rush and he would enjoy the everliving heck out of it.
Chidori stopped when she saw the pretty 'Mare approach Xenon and start talking to him. Oh....well, that was good, right? He should try to hang out with more people his age. She and Quill couldn't be his only friends, after all. She didn't want to be rude and barge in, either. She sighed a little and looked back at Cookie and Prism (yes that's what she's calling it.) "...Nevermind, guys. He's busy..." She suddenly felt a little bummed, making her way back to the snowcone vendor with famliars in tow to get another one. Grape this time. It just sort of...matched her mood somehow.

The hybrid giggled as someone placed a boa on their new companion. "I don't think it's ever possible to be too fuzzy." The outfit they wore around the house and for shows had an amazing fuzzy feel that they wished they could melt into. Maybe they were just making up for thier lack of fur, but Simone couldn't deny that it felt luxurious. "A pleasure to meet you." They offered a small smile, stopping for a moment to pick up some treats. "I'm Simone. We could be boa buddies!" They couldn't help but to laugh.
Sneaking glances at Skitters every now and then, SnowLily kept walking hoping she would find her group she did not want to get into trouble since she was the one who wandered off in the first place.
A rattling of paper was her only warning when suddenly her candy started to fall down her sweater and all over the ground, some hit her feet and bounced off. Skitters took off down her arm to get it, as he pounced on the candy another Flitterrat was suddenly there picking up the candy and twitching its whiskers. It seemed stunned that Skitters was there.
Laughing, SnowLily sat down and began to coax the pretty Pink Flitterrat to come closer by offering it a piece of candy. It seemed a little hesitant at first but eventally came over and sat in her hand. SnowLily took her time talking softly to it, gently touching it's head a little and then having Skitters come over for a little while.
Time seemed to pass quickly for SnowLily suddenly realized her legs were freezing from the cold ground. Standing up, she reached down for Skitters who quickly scrambled up and settled on one shoulder. She offered her hand to the new Flitterrat who without hesitation climbed on her hand and up to her other shoulder and sat looking around. "Hmmm what to call you? How about Heart?" with that she took off with Skitters and Heart exploring the Jubilee.

He did however quickly have to grab a snow cone from some one passing by to keep from dissolving into laughter. Claire just often seemed rather refreshing. Then again he always seemed to attract others that just ended up throwing things to the wind. Still Baum couldn't really complain. After all most of the time the adventures that came about frorm such people were most of the time fun. " A festival most definitely is more fun with people. My twin constantly gets herself lost when we go to one together so I have done quite a few solo. Anything you want to see first? ------------------- Keres let out a tiny little smile glad that he hadn't asked the wrong question, although really he didn't have too much dealings with spectre foxes. They always looked awesome though. " I always thought they looked pretty cool. I only own nezubats however. Dad dealt with a breeder who was mutating them on purpose and so we took one home. Ah dad is a law student, so he was part of the team that put the guy away." He explained. Then of course he had learned they liked colonies and had gotten another one. However it seemed as if the nine wanted him to have one more because a random nezubat suddenly dived for his bag and crawled inside it. " I guess I have three now" ---------------- Leto sighed and adjusted the plushie in his arms. This was the problem with not having a set destination on meeeting someone. You just kind of wandered around and hoped you found them. So far it wasn't working for him, or at least it wasn't until he got a ping on his phone. It caused a smile to break out before he started walking towards the destination mentioned in the text. Cousins were wonderful some times. Sure enough Vega was walking around the area Solomon had texted him from. Now all that was left to do was... "Vega!!"

His heart started beating faster when he heard his name called. Vega turned and looked at Leto, a smile growing across his face. "Leto!" The kirin practically launched himself at Leto, throwing his arms around his neck and placing an awkward (though slightly more practiced) kiss to the hybrid's lips. "You made it!" His face was bright red as he realized what he just did... but screw it. Leto was his boyfriend, and he really REALLY liked him and kissing him was nice and just... Ok brain shut up. "I mean... hi. You... you look good."
"Nezubats? They are cute. I have 2 myself." She blinked when a nezubat crawled into Keres' bag. "You seem to attract them. Maybe they can sense you're a kind person, and helped to save them." She nodded. "I'm glad your father was able to help save a few. No familiar should be harmed or mutated for fun." She nodded firmly. "So... do you just have the two... three nezubats?"
OH! And he wouldn't be the only fabulous one. Meadow saw a boa that would look GREAT on Aurelia. He couldn't wait to see her again and give her this. She would LAUGH!

Oh? It looked like Chidori had found Xenon too. Well, Quill knew his friend would be alright now. He slipped farther into the crowd to mingle, but still kept an eye on his roommate.
Nuka spotted a purple plushie on the same table and brightened up. Now his other plushies could have company! Swooping it up, he admired the coloring and the downy faux fur, petting it briefly before putting it into his semi-bulging bag. He had prepared for a lot of things, considering past events. But it seemed that even getting a larger bag, he was still underprepared!
Humming to himself, he looked into the bag and began readjusting stuff. Perhaps he was getting too many things? It would be troublesome if he had to find room for the stuff… But he could make it work! w.c.: 103
There was another. Soleil eyed the small bunyip plush. Did they have a need for one? Not really. Bunyips also weren't their favorite familiar in the lot. But....Soleil smirked, taking the lone bunyip and placing it next to their other newly acquired snag. Twinning was worth it. There seemed to be enough items around the craft booth in order to make them matching. The question was….what would the twins look like? Soleil tapped their chin and rolled up the arms on their thick sweater. The sooner that they got this done, the sooner that Soleil could start chatting up other people. That is, if Nuka got bored of their company.
Danielle blinked and couldn't help the smile that crossed her face as Chess's mood switched so quickly. She'd expect nothing less, though...nor should she expect less from them as they posed and tried to encourage her to pose with them. The display made her laugh a bit. "You're so ridiculous...." She was honestly a little unsure about it but she tried to pose with the neko and look as diva as possible, pursed lips and everything. ".....is this ok?" She didn't notice that someone added a plushie to her growing pile.
Chess grinned as they heard Dani laugh and considered this day a success regardless. Once Dani posed with them, however, Chess was quick to whip out their phone and snap a selfie of them together in their ridiculous poses and faces. "Perfect!" Now to add it to social media before the imp could stop them! They'd quickly abscond themselves from Dani's grasp for their phone while snagging a bag of treats on the way.
Guzma was gonna become a diabetic at this rate. Someone was handing out chocolate coins as booby prizes for game participants that didn't win an actual prize. That didn't mean he wouldn't try again!
Chidori's ears perked up as she heard a familiar voice call her name and she turned to see Xenon was motioning for her to come over as he called out to her. She was a little hesitant initially but she figured it was dumb to not be sociable now that he noticed her. She encouraged her new familiar companions to follow as she walked over to Xenon and the 'Mare he was talking to....and someone dropped another boa on her as they passed by. ".....I think two boas are a little too extravagant..." She mumbled as she tried to adjust how they were on her, twisting them together before she put them back around her neck. She looked up at Xenon with a smile. "It's nice to see you out and about since last time. It's been a while." She looked up at the other 'Mare and remembered her manners. "Oh, I'm sorry; I'm Chidori. It's nice to meet you.

Sparrow enjoyed her snowcone as she practically skipped around, loving the sights and smells and sounds. It was rare she got a chance to really enjoy a festival and right now she was taking the opportunity to really enjoy herself....and it was quite possible the sugar was getting to her. Someone handed her another boa and she wasn't sure what to do with it till she saw a freshling twist two together....so she did the same. What a brilliant idea! The colors go together so well!

though bella was on her way out, she was given a cute parting gift at the door, despite things being a bit relaxed she had one more thing towards her memory of that celebration while carrying about her new companions stella stopped to buy a treat, taking out her coins she bought one bag of treats to eat while she explored a little while longer all though he was alone at this point in time, he stopped to explore the festival for a little while. in the process he got a sweet treat to take back to his houses and eat while he worked on making music.
