Baroness Youkimi Kai Youkimi was hoping to let the lady rest so that she could recover. It was most unfortunate indeed that the lady was somehow moving, powerful and strong as she was, and it was remarkably unfortunate that she was going so far as to begin insulting the one source of information that came from outside the castle at THIS particular moment. The blue-plumed phoenix turned and set a hand on the taller lady's arm. She had a firm grip, but it was clear that she wasn't going to exert force on a warrior. Though Youkimi's own strength had grown, it wasn't in her nature to be physical.
Her deep blue eyes were already troubled but they were able to focus on the golden eyes of her cousin with remarkable intensity, warning, and some of her previous anger and discontent for the situation was the unfortunate side-effect of the urgency she wished her cousin to feel.
"Lady Chhatrapati," the baroness said calmly, if almost forced. "You have been injured. I need you to lie down and recover. Please let me attend to this, for it involves us both. I will fight your cause."

Company:: Dixon & Youkimi Outfit:: Sir RolandFeeling:: Taken aback Condition:: Healthy Location:: Currency:: 5000¢ EC Items:: DyrnwynOOC:: Prince Roland Leoharz Bellris His friend was gracious to give warning to Roland and his country. As suspected, there was something afoot in Ethe and as it were there was glory to be had; If any enemy should cross the borders into his homeland that is. Before Roland could speak up again a sudden voice called out for a sight that he hadn't expected. The lady dyed in blood from earlier was spewing out blood words quite loudly, yet the gods were good to have a lady of peace within the room. If it was not for Youkimi this conversation might have become a roaring argument. "I am sorry lady Chhatrapati, I know recent events must have placed a heavy weight upon your heart and mind." The so called traitor prince bows with respect to the lady as his eyes and face show a show of concern. "You have suffered much blood loss from what glimpse I seen of you. Take a rest and gather your strength, because you're going to need it for the true enemies to come." The hope was that the lady would come to her senses and leave the room to regain her concession fully but people tend to act as they please...so how was it that this lady will act and be after hearing Roland voice concern for her well-being.

Dixon couldn't help but hang his head at the display. Normally they were at each other's throats, yes, but this was hardly the time to egg on the pugnacious prince. Bellris was an nation that took what they earned in sweat in the field and turned it into a large army--this Solidon lady wouldn't hope to have strength left to fight all that, no matter how good they were!
"Please, councilman," bade the count, "answer the question for our troubled minds: what exactly was the image on that crest--and I wouldn't assume this requires the council of your men. You must understand: in the heart of the matter, we must not hide secret tongues from each other; Youkimi and I have not spoken a word of Ethian in the entirety of our conversation." The count's aura was a cool orange, bespeckled with blue. His couldn't simply ignore Chusi. He made an offer.
"If the lady wishes to leave, I will keep her company. To recover alone is a horrible thing..." There was almost a tear, but instead the count smiled. His face rejoined the conversation with a memory written across it that was telling of his pain after fighting the goddess sans details. "--however, if this is out of the question, I beg the steward to allow her to stay and offer her insight--surely she knows the aggressor better than us all; her opinion will be vital going forward."

Lady Chusi Chhatrapati350EC clothing: BlueChusi raised a dark eyebrow and looked at Dixon with her golden eye, one now paler then the other, Councilman? Oh how grand! Only one place in the world had such a titles and that was Bellris, if it hadn't been obvious by the language it was sure clear now. She was not particularly familiar with the former royal family of Bellris or its council, but the most famous were the former Queen Hysteria and her brother...which she could only assume that this person standing with Count Titanus was the whipped little boy that constantly got ground under his big sisters heels. That was so adorable, and with that knowledge...despite having forgotten the name of the Queen's brother long ago, she now saw him as a tiny maggot trying to worm his way into a place he didn't belong. Instead Chusi looked at her distant cousin, her smile most stretched as she kept her lips pressed together for a moment "Of course I would gladly go relax dear. cousin" she said, her last two words clipped as she looked over at Count Titanus and the Councilperson "Forgive my harsh tongue, I have been under a lot of stress today, however as Count Titanus stated, as a leader of Solidon" she looked at Count Dixon "A house that until today was highly recognized, not as traitors or aggressors that need to be smote, but as the house with unquestioning, unwavering loyalty that has sacrificed more for then crown than any other house today or extinct, I of course would know more about my.people than anyone else in this room" she said, giving the count that thin smile she had just given Youkimi before looking at Roland "Solidon is different from Tiania, Etelan, Kaishin or Etherland. If something is said it will be done, If something must be done it will get done. My brother, The Aggressor in this situation..." she paused for a moment to look pointedly at The Count, to in hopes make him remember that it was still her flesh and blood he spoke about, not just her people ...has set his sights on Antigone, Scouts would not be headed out to where you where ambushed. They would have gone to the Marigold manor to see if Lady Marigold, Count Titanus' ward was at the place, Weather she was or was not they would return. Further more After he is done with Antigone he plans to attack and expand into Phobos"Chusi explained to the Councilman, and by extension the two others in the room, her hands laced together just below her chest, keeping the blanket up "So unless you, a foreigner, was stepping out of bounds and where in fact travelling though Antigone, which is several miles farther south than the Royal Abode here in Etherland, I doubt you would have encountered Solidonian soliders, for which you have, they would have ripped you out of the sky by your beaks and used your feathers to decorate the capes we so gleefully sew together as our trophies of war" she said before looked back at her Cousin "I will return to rest once I am made aware of what sigil that these scouts wore when they attacked this man, I see that as more then fair" she said as she squeezed her cousins hand that had been on her arm "After all, if they had been My people, then Solidon has just committed an Act of war. I would prefer to have the facts straight before I leave the room, so my people don't end up as a casualty of baseless assumptions" she said and looked once more at Roland, just daring him to say just what sigil had been on the armor of those that attacked him, either was she was probably going to go check at her earliest convenience since she believed nothing that came out of this Bellrisian's mouth.

Baroness Youkimi Kai With all speaking, both in apology and all proving a willingness to discuss and to talk. She relaxed her hold on the lady's arm and offered her arm instead, as well as her shoulder. They were going to discuss, then she wouldn't force the lady to continue standing in this state.
"Let us return to the room so she can sit and we can continue speaking." That seemed to be a fair compromise, Youkimi decided. She urged the men to follow and to assist as necessary as she walked Lady Chhatrapati to the guest bed and let her lean back and rest, to tuck her and the blanket underneath the sheets and thicker covers on the bed. She kept an eye on the men as she did this, mostly because she was still a woman and this was part of her responsibility as kin to the injured lady to protect her from being spied necessarily. When the lady was settled, it was a simple matter to pull around the stool and few sitting chairs that were in the room if one wanted to sit as they discussed this matter.
Lady Chhatrapati, Chusi, spoke openly to the men. Now that the atmosphere was polite, it was easier for them to speak on the topic, and of what had been done already. It made the moment easier for Baroness Kai, if only a little. She listened, for now....

✺Forgotten Son EC: 100 Well, at least we're somewhere. Titanus visibly sighed at the lady's acquiescence to rest up a bit. Mind you, he did not appreciate at all the venom she seemed to lace every other sentence with--the man misspoke! He was just angry!--but, alas, the count chalked it up to her normal temperament and felt that, if anything, this was flag for returning health; he walked somewhat near the back of the procession, and, coming to stand in the room found that he hadn't much to say after all. Nothing could be farther from true, but there were bigger things to learn and plan for than some squabbling. Besides, he felt he needed absolute concentration to leap and break up a fight between these two proud combatants. He found it easy to pace in this space, thinking, waiting. For the first time, perhaps, Titanus found himself stayed by his own tongue, for he knew that it could lead to more ruin than he'd already caused. And so, reflecting nothing but penitence and a polite bow to the lady Chhatrapati, the count held in twin pools a divided truth that needn't be seen as the soul of an unnerved man caught in the trappings of his old pugnacious habits.

Company:: Dixon, Youkimi and Lady Chhatrapati Outfit:: Sir RolandFeeling:: Uncertain but Calming down Condition:: Healthy Location:: Currency:: 5000¢ EC Items:: DyrnwynOOC:: Prince Roland Leoharz Bellris Youkimi was quite, Dixon had pled and then this Lady Chhatrapati dare the prince to guess her family's sigil. While the hospitality of a seat was offered Roland chose to keep standing as he defended himself; Yet the details that Lady Chhatrapati was giving was making Roland second who it was that attacked him. Without being rude and speaking with his knights, and being sure not to keep secrets, Roland took a deep breath before speaking the truth. "I...I can't clearly remember the sigil on them." He muttered with slight shame. "It all happened so fast, and they ambushed us from out of nowhere...but I am definitely sure the men wore this country's styling of armor and it was on my path here from Bellris when we was attacked. Surely Dixon would have told his men I was coming so they wouldn't have attacked, which leads me to believe it was your prideful soldiers of Solidon, Lady Chhatrapati. After all, you act rather bold so why wouldn't you me do the same if they follow your oh-so noble example." He kept his eyes focused hard on the stranger woman with his suspicious still running high against her.

Lady Chusi Chhatrapati350EC clothing: BlueChusi smiled at her cousin "thank you sweet cousin" she said as she took a seat and listened to the former prince of Bellris, at his words her eyes instantly lit up and her smile became more genuine. "really? because you seemed oh so sure that it was Solidon no more then five moments ago" she said crossly and then made a few tsk tsk sounds that she stopped at the second tsk since any odd movements made her teeth hurt, a metal glove to the face would sting for quite a while. She then looked back at the prince "The dearest and most precious sigil of the Chhatrapati family and Solidon is a green snake that looks poised to about to attack a golden crown, however if you look at closely its fangs are retracted and instead it is in fact protecting it." she smiled at him before looking at Count Titanus "This man clearly did not come here to see me, perhaps you or..." she looked at Youkimi "...maybe you? Either way I wont get involved in your affairs, but it seems that this man is either lying boldfaced to members of the Ethen peerage... or in his confusion and fear of this attack made claims against Solidon without taking the time to clearly think about what he knows" she looked right back at the Councilman "It must be the second one right Councilman......... Bellris?" she asked, making a semi pointed guess as to his surname as she leaned back on her arms, she felt barely an ache despite having been stabbed earlier...damn the healers for such good technique! She didn't bother with keeping the blanket that was wrapped around her still as her bust kept the fabric up well enough without having to hold it "I would feel terribly ashamed if my first impression of you was that you were a silver tongued liar"

Baroness Youkimi Kai It was remarkably difficult to keep one's expression in check when one felt strongly, and worse still when they opposed the contents of what was being spoken or the tone these words were said in. She glanced down at the Lady Chhatrapati, her blue eyes frigid and showing marked disapproval that seemed better placed alongside a scowl than a slight frown.
"I would prefer conversation over sharp commentary."
Youkimi managed to keep her volume conversational, but there managed to be frustration and a layer of upset emotion to her words. The country and too many innocents were in danger at THIS moment and she was no closer to saving them now than she had been when the lady stumbled in bleeding and slipping into shock. HOW DARE she be so flippant and insensitive to another set of eyes!? Ones that might be allies to this cause, who might protect the country further, and who might prevent further damage? A slight to ones pride was a small price to pay. Wasn't it the lady herself that warned of her brother's insurrection?
The Baroness of Kaishin had little patience for trite and petty words from a sarcastic tongue. The room around them began to chill, the temperature lower, but no window had been opened. "If we are all done with insults, I need to know at this moment all that you both know. There are too many lives at risk for me to indulge your injured prides!"
She looked each in the room in turn, but her icy blue eyes lingered a moment longer on the visiting lady and the refugee lady. They did lift, however, and she directed her attention to a nearby servant, requesting that they fetch a map for them. A visual aid would only help. However, the chill falling on the room hadn't quite lessened, even with this distraction.
"Cousin, I would feel better if you were in the bed instead of a chair."

Company:: Dixon, Youkimi and Lady Chhatrapati Outfit:: Sir RolandFeeling:: Condition:: Healthy Location:: Currency:: 5000¢ EC Items:: DyrnwynOOC:: Done biggrin Prince Roland Leoharz Bellris Five minutes ago he was hopped up on adrenalin. Though he thinks he might have seen the snake portion of the sigil Roland knew trying to lie would have been the worst move to have done; The sight of the crown was never something he focused on in the midst of the dog fight. The only option left was the only one offered to him, but...there was a burn to his pride he had to swallow down his throat. This woman was cocky, and that smile only showed it that much more than her relaxed poses; Youkimi's cousin showing a slight contrast of equal diplomatic power. But the lady of blue feathers would not be outdone and showed her own hand as well. Youkimi wasn't as subtle as Roland was use to seeing her act but this wasn't a time to be pussyfooting around nor indulging ones piety pride. There was one hell of an uproar going on in the lands of Ethe and soon its consequences might be spilling over to the other kingdoms; perhaps son it'll effect the ones Roland knows and cares for which Included the people of this room. A moment passes after Youkimi's request for a map and with his eyes on the blue phoenix's cousin he would speak firmly but apologetic. "I am no liar nor coward, Lady Chhatrapati. I don't have any fear of any man who walks this earth and bleeds just as I do, but I must say I am sorry." For this moment and only this time would he bend a knee to this lady and with fixated red eyes he would stifle the growl of his dignity and breath out calm. "After a fight in the sky it can be hard to calm ones heart and mind over the thrill of survival. I imagine you had a similar feeling after finding yourself here, Lady Chhatrapati." And on good timing, the one fetching the map as asked finally arrives. With the large parchment laid out before them Roland was now able to tell all he knew, starting by pointing at the most upper part of Ethen territory and at the very border of the lands known as Titania. "It was here, where a river flow into your area Dixon, where me and my men were ambushed by the unknown soldiers and it is there their body and armors lay in the ice."

Truthfully, he'd never seen the baroness this upset; when it could be felt--as it wasn't enough to simply have one phoenix who changed the temperature of the room when emotions bested them--Dixon for one knew it was time to stop screwing around. Roland seemed to take the baton; Dixon readied his engines for his length of the nation-saving relay.
"As long as you've left the body there, my men and I will be able to assist you in investigating." He paused, considering secondary facts. "It will be preserved: the matter should be put on hold until after we have dealt with this new crisis--it is obviously an ancillary trouble, even if it were my men." He pointed to the border of Bellris and Titania.
"Here," he said, "is one of three points I have seen fit to secure--no offense meant to the councilman, of course." A small shrug. "The other two locations are irrelevant, but suffice to say it could very well be my men at fault..."
"--I would like to take on the responsibility of making this right, regardless, if that is what it takes to move forward with any plans the stewardess means to enact. Needless to say, I offer what troops I can for this effort."

Lady Chusi Chhatrapati350EC clothing: BlueChusi smiled at Youkimi as the room began to chill "Sweet cousin, this IS a conversation and a much needed one" she said and then she turned her head to look back at the Councilman of Bellris, it took all of her willpower and strength to stop herself from making him kiss her feet as punishment "Thank you for your words, that was all that was needed" she said to him, as she opened and uncrossed her bare legs for a moment before crossing the opposite over, smiling slightly as she rolled her ankle, it was clear she wanted to say more, but as her eyes slid over to Youkimi it was clear that perhaps the ONLY reason that her mouth remained closed at this moment was because of Youkimi's request. However, instead of belittling the councilman's manhood as she would have enjoyed she simply said to Youkimi " I simply wanted an explanation as to why he was so infrequent with his descriptions, his men say that they saw the sigil of Solidon and yet none of them can tell us what it looks like" she said crossly "But it seems that this matter has been cleared up, to which I am glad" she said to her and she looked back at the Councilman "Your apology has been accepted.Once the map was brought to them Chusi once again uncrossed her legs and stood up, her blanket managing to stay up simply by the grace of her above average chest. She looked at the Map "Solidon has no reason to scout out to Titania, Unless my brother has some unresolved grudge against Count Titanus?" she asked as she looked up at the Count for a moment before lowing her eyes once more. She would slowly drag her nails up to the Marigold estate "If they don't run into no trouble they should be here in just a few hours, they'll travel the merchant roads to make travel faster. They wont fly since it will break formation, but once they start marching it should be easy to tell, the ground shakes and the drums are loud." she said calmly "If we factor in luck, a victor will be decided within a day or two before the army flies back to Solidon to regroup before headed west toward Phobos" she clarified "However since my brother isn't the most disciplined fighter or leader, Whatever fighting force Antigone tosses together will be sufficient enough to make him whimper like a beat dog" she said "but, if the generals choose to ignore his orders then Antigone will be under Solidon's control in a day" she then moved her hand away from the map.

Baroness Youkimi Kai Few things were more infuriating or frustrating than bring ignored. But there was peace and progress here, so she had to accept it.
She leaned over the table and studied it as the others put in their observations. Solidon forces might walk, but Kaishin knights flew. They should arrive at their destination within half a day. She would receive a letter not even an hour after. The weather was cold, but the skies were clear.
She was ignorant of the temperature and how it held steady and cold. Her breaths became visible sooner than the others, a side effect of her personal internal temperature rising in direct contrast to the room....
For now, she listened. They could quickly regain Antigone and Solidon soon after if they moved quickly enough. Before the ituation became public knowledge.

"Hopefully we can stop them from taking--" the count was cut off by a sudden intrusion. It was constructed purely of thought, had hollow, black voids for eyes, and spoke without prompt.
"Antigone falls to Solidon forces!" It repeated it once before a guard brushed it away. Dixon fell silent for a moment, rethinking his entire approach.
"... You say they will head to Phobos now?" he thought aloud. "We cannot afford war with an entire nation, let alone a state." His fists tightened on top of his knees, eyes set on the cold tile beneath.

Company:: Dixon, Youkimi and Lady Chhatrapati Outfit:: Sir RolandFeeling:: Supportive Condition:: Healthy Location:: Currency:: 5000¢ EC Items:: DyrnwynOOC:: Sorry if it's not that good. Prince Roland Leoharz Bellris For now it seems the matter of the surprise attack was placed on hold while the real issue was taken up by the others in the chilly room. While Roland was use to the cold, being a soul of the large and snowy republic, he only noticed the change of temp in the room due to the familiar feel of home's condition. His breath showed a little with his exhaled sigh but what could have made such a change in the room? Youkimi's eyes seemed to tell a tale of surprising magic but her chilled skin told the man more. Without word he placed his fur cloak over the baroness' shoulders and gave a small friendly smile. "You'll catch your death before your enemy can catch you." He said light heartedly as the ruby eyed prince stood by the lady's side as if she were his charge and he her knight. It was only after a lingering second of noting the seemingly changing hue of blue in Youkimi's eyes that Roland's eyes would fall to Lady Chhatrapati. Shouldn't she be more carful with that blanket on her? It was enough to get the young man to slightly blush, but the problem was he couldn't be the one to mention the blanket since they aren't exactly what you would call friends right now. Battle positions were being brought to the table and as a friend Roland decided to speak on behalf of himself. "Dixon, what if you had extra bodies to add to you plans?" He ask out of curiosity while looking at the map. "Say, hypothetically, if my men happened to be patrolling the borders and then they happened to accidentally guard your lands thinking it was Bellris and were commanded to only strike men with snake and crown as a sigil on their armor. What use could those men be to you?"
