"She ran outta the room screamin' her head off. That's not takin' care of her, that's just givin' her a bandaid and sendin' her on her way so you don't gotta deal with her." She didn't respond to the pat but neither was she looking particularly angry or nonplussed.

Shun raised a brow when he heard that Autumn had taken care of major wounds. That had been... quick? He didn't recall seeing the girl with any major injuries, despite the blood she had on her. It is possible he did miss something, though. However, he did look back towards Chel.
"You scold us, and yet you have done none of the same, yourself," he pointed out.

Rosie seemed perplexed by what Chel was saying. Yes, on one hand she was right. They had sent the girl out without anyone following (beyond Rosie seeing she made it down the stairs)... But on the other hand, they were also trying to find a dangerous murderer as fast as they could. Rosie was poised to take her downstairs too, but Ashley had ran off overly frightened and, sadly, running too fast for Rosie to catch up. There wasn't much she could do to combat Chel's points, but she would keep them in mind. However, the officer's barbed comment made her scowl, "Oi, Mr. Officer. There's no need to be sour at her. If she's bothered she has a right to be so. Everyone is stressed. This is no time to be pointing fingers, young man." She even threw in the mom glare (patent pending) at him.

"Yer right," she agreed. She wanted to have done something to protect Diana. She wanted to have run to safety. She wanted to say that watching the girl going down the stairs had done something but of course it hadn't.
"M'just sayin' is all." And the point was that's all she was doing. Just saying. She didn't have Shun's gun or Autumn's magic whatever the ******** or claws and a tail. She had a mouth and that was about it.
But then Rosie called Shun a young man and that got a really loud snorting laugh out of her.

Shun just gave Rosie a look in silence, seemingly unphased by the Mom Glare. Technically Chel had pointed fingers at them all first. He didn't say it, however, since it wouldn't make the situation any better. His fingers did twitch a bit at the 'young man' bit, though.

"I just had a thought," Autumn said quietly when the arguing had died, not wanting to put herself and her abilities in the middle of a fight among strangers. "Have we thought about looking around our here? Cause I mean. I don't think there's any weres, but we still might find s**t after we head into the conference room." Autumn glanced to the door. "I mean. We could finish our planned searches of these rooms then double back and look out here."

"That's not a bad idea," and really, it wasn't. Checking around was important too. Any markings could lead them closer to the rogue were, "Let's keep that in mind." Rosie nodded to Autumn, glad to focus on something else.

YOU HAVE DECIDED TO MOVE ON TO THE PURPLE CONFERENCE ROOM Across the hall, you can see the other group--the ones who investigated the left hand side of the floor--wrestling a were to the ground. It appears they have the rogue dead to rights, and so you move on. The purple conference room's door hangs off its hinges quite precariously. The space is completely trashed: the table has been broken in half, there are deep gouges along the walls, and two windows are shattered as if they've been punched. EXPLORE THE ROOM?
OR MOVE ON?

Chel only gave Shun an awkward smile. What else she could do?
Upon entering the room she was immediately tense. The place was trashed and there were signs of a fight. She moved to the sides of the room near the window, keeping to the edges in case something was going to jump out from that creepy table.
"Well either someone had it rough or did it rough," she summarized with a lazy expression. Nonetheless she examined the window to see if anything could be seen below.

"I have been trying to keep an eye out," he nodded to Autumn.
Hearing something like a crash from the other side of the hall, Shun turned sharply to see the other group wrestling a female form to the ground. He watched them for a moment, tense, but it seemed like they had that situation under control.
Seeing the hinges of the conference room hanging off of its hinges, he narrows his eyes and puts his back to the wall. He was going to motion for the others to hold, but Chel had gone right on into the very messy room. With the windows shattered, it's possible whatever had been in here had actually jumped right on out.
"See anything out there?" he asked Chel.
With his gun still in hand, he remained on high alert.

Rosie wasn't sure if they should enter, safety and all that, so instead spoke to the group "we should give it a quick look over and move on. From that mess, there's doubtfully anyone in there..."

"It's not for nothing," he had said to Chel before they entered the bathroom. "Not if it means stopping a killer, intended or not."
Having had nothing in particular to contribute, Jack had kept quiet and alert. A few subtle photos here and there of the bathroom (though not of Ashley, whom not even someone like Jack would bother with this right now), and silent notations of names as they were mentioned: Autumn, Rosie, Lucas, and so on. It looked as though the other group was having more luck finding weres, for better or for worse; he got off a shot, but even zoomed in the quality wasn't exactly great. A reminder, if nothing else. He was making a nice list of talking points for later.
It was his turn to almost reach out and stop her with a grip, but Chel never did like being pinned down. The damage done to the room made him more nervous, though Jack continued with his self-appointed civic duty of photographing the damage. "Not unless there's a rat changer or something small, I suppose," he said to Rosie. Having heard the words bunny and fox thrown about, it seemed just about anything was game.
"If someone finds something they think is interesting, though, I can take a picture for later," Jack added to the group.
HELLO EVERYONE I HAVE RETURNED FOR A MOMENT if someone wants a pic of something u can assume jack got it done after pointing it out for future ref

“Hello?” Zac called into the room, just a bit under speaking tone. After all if he could avoid it he’d rather not have a … were they even were creatures? Or did they have something like a third category on their hands? Were Creatures, Wargs and… Mystery biter things that might or might not BE Were Creatures, after all, Lucas and Lilly seemed to be in control, not so much what he’d seen. He squeezed Lina’s hand again, and glanced to Autumn and Lucas to see what they had on their minds. He gave another squeeze of Lina’s hand before cautiously letting go, and creeping forward to examine the table just in case the woman he was quietly calling ‘Anyone but me’ in his head, had a good thought in avoiding it.

With Zac searching the room and approaching the tables, Autumn felt emboldened to do the same. Heading into the torn-apart room, she looked around grimly. Obviously whoever had been in here... hadn't been in the best place at the time. She winced internally in sympathy-pain, unable to even imagine how bad it was. With Ashley's throat in the state it'd been... what were these weres going through?
Guilt washing over her, particularly in conjunction with Chel's anger, Autumn ducked to search under the broken table halves.

Maeve followed the crowd in, choosing to dodge the actual mess and stick her head out one of the broken windows. It looked like whatever had been here had moved on, unless whatever had been here had flung itself out of a second story window or crawled under the table.
Maeve wasn't sure how unlikely either of those possibilities were though, and just glanced back and nodded when Shun mentioned they should move quickly.
Better to keep on the move than wait in a room like a flock of prey.
