Teslaron Post: 1Yep, that was about all he could handle.
Teslaron groaned softly as he walked toward his seat in the stands and scrubbed the heels of his palms against his eyes. Somehow, it hadn't registered to him at first that a combat-oriented tournament would involve actual physical exertion and bodily injury. Not for the first time since the end of his match, he wondered why entering any such thing had seemed like a good idea to him. He did not like to fight. Nor was he particularly talented at it. He didn't have training, and surely none of his yet-undiscovered future goals would require he be apt at wielding a blade. There was no reason for him to-
Except there was. Teslaron eyed the Shifter woman sitting nearby and couldn't help but break into a stupidly broad grin. He dropped into a seat at Dris'rynne's side, stretched his arms overhead, then layered one across her shoulders. "Heeeey, beautiful," he cooed too sweetly. "Were you watching, huh? What did you think? How great am I? Fierce? Intimidating? Brave and ultra-masculine? Y'know, I bet I get at least one sexy, manly scar from this whole fiasco. But!"
He retracted his arm from her, propped his elbow on his knee and rested his chin in his palm. "That's enough about my fights, I think. Tell me, Sky Princess," He grinned cheekily, knowingly, and tipped his head ever-so-slightly. "How did your match go?"

Onora Post 3 Onora gave a hearty chuckle when she heard the fishy pun, thoroughly enjoying it. "Hah! You've got quite the skill in comedy." She said before laughing again, her stomach jumping with every movement.
The other woman stated that she would eat the questionable food and the Matorian cringed. "I wouldn't do that if I were you, trust me." She said as she pointed to the man. "So what are you going to say now Sir? You still think you can sell this rotten food?" She asked, acid dripping off her tongue.
"I-I-I..." He was speechless.
Onora smiled. "Yeah that's what I thought." She turned her attention to the others. "You guys should try my pop's famous gumbo. Makes my mouth drool just thinking about it." She said with a smile.

Devra post Three The youngling felt a bit self conscious as the shifter hybrid questioned her. She instantly began twirling her hair in her fingers. "Yeah it's real. It's pretty normal in Yael." She stated like it was obvious. "I'm a Yaeli if you didn't know." She tried to sound nice when she said that, yet a little bit of sass ending up at the end of her sentence. It dawned on her that they were asking questions because they didn't know about her kind, not to be nosy. Maybe they wouldn't remember what she was doing earlier, since the conversation seemed to travel to her ethnicity.
Just as Devra hoped no one would talk about the "purchasing" she was going to do, the other girl asked if she had any money. She scrunched her face and looked up to Volkarosh. "No... I just brought myself and enough food to get here. It was a long trip to say the least." She tried to sound like a grown up, yet it came out as a very tired child. Even though these main land residents got into her business, she didn't mind, since they weren't being mean to her. She thought she would be an outcast, since she looked so different.

Varinia .|. Post 4So the little one like their food huh? Well, she couldn't blame her. Food was one of her favorite past times. Varinia reached into the small bag she carried and pulled out a small wrapped package. It contained some dried fruit strips. Dried fruit was one of her favorite snacks to just keep with her, they were easy to carry around and not very messy. "I don't know if you like fruit but you can have some if you wish. If it's okay with your Mom of course." Vari looked up to Lasarra to make sure it was okay. She knew some parents could be super protective of their children and considering how uncomfortable the woman looked, Vari wouldn't be surprised if she declined on her daughter's behalf. a pet dino Varinia w/ Naevius @ Lasseyn and Lasarra

Naevius .|. Post 4As soon as the other had said it Naevius remembered the occasion in which they had met. Nae smiled slightly at the shifter. "I remember now. I'm afraid that at the time I may have bluffed a little bit about some of our creatures. To be fair, I wasn't in the best situation and you definitely had the upper hand with your familar." Nae smiled as Varinia offered the youngling some food. How like her friend to always be prepared. "Well, I'm Naevius. And my friend here is Varinia. I actually work at a compound that does beast training. If you plan to be in Oba for a small duration of time, I can leave you with information on how to get there if you'd like to learn more about our beasts. To compensate for the terrible information I provided you with on our previous meeting." Okay well, saying she worked at the compound was a slight understatement but one that would be okay, Nae thought. a pet dino Naevius @ Lasseyn and Lasarra <3

Kelina .|. Post 4"I don't recall seeing any information when I looked earlier, though I had only just glanced." Briella's compliment made her smile and slightly blush. "The first two were fairly well behaved. And my dear Kresimir, my oldest boy, was such a help when I had the triplets. Especially with Vepkhia while she was growing up. My husband also is a great father which made mothering not too difficult on me. It really is a group effort." She said kindly.

Serrpost three
He might have cursed, had he been so inclined, but Serr remained silent as he picked up speed, bare feet slapping on the ground. He had to find a place to hide, or at least a spot to leave her necklace in her path while he kept on running. She was a lot faster than he had thought she would be. Maybe next time he would examine the leg muscles of those he planned on stealing from.
He took a hard right turn around the next corner, emerging into a space that was considerably less crowded than the one he had previously occupied. He was more visible now, but he could also move a lot quicker.robot kitten a little running before catching ouo

Mosipost three
"Yes, I suppose it's better that they only came to drop off their exiles." For a moment, Mosi looked as though she had swallowed a bitter piece of fruit. "But enough about that. I'll admit I came here at someone else's behest, but it's been very educational so far." She smiled sheepishly. "And frightening. What brings you to the mainland?"a pet dino Aayanna! and thank you for offering niadra for stealing, but serr already had a victim! <333

Zumei Post 1 She'd been beaten up and humiliated by a large Alki lady. She'd smacked herself in the head with her own hammer!! That was the worst thing about all of it. She'd been taken out by herself when all she'd wanted to do was have a good fight. She really had failed. All she wanted to do now was go run off and fall asleep in a corner. She was tired and had a killer headache. Making her way out of the arena gate, she was somewhat surprised to spot her favorite ice standing there. She'd expected him to be still battling, but maybe he had at least won his match. "Hey, how did things go? You look tired, " Zumei smiled, patting him gently on the shoulder." Did you win?"

Neryssa Post 3Neryssa stared slightly at the wind woman as she spoke of her home being in Sauti. That was a far off place that she had yet to visit. Perhaps someday after she found her sister and got her to go home for a bit. Shaking her head to clear her own thoughts, The water Prentice smiled. "A pleasure. Did you come to watch the fights?" She asked looking towards where most the people were headed. Earthlings, Alks and the like. There were many there and it would be hard to find just one person in a place this big and with so many. "I heard that there were a lot of people trying, I wonder who will make it to the top."She was curious, those golden eyes watching the lines pile up at the stairs leading to the higher tiers, hoping she could get a good seat to see what was happening. This was her first Tournament and she wanted to see it all, even if she weren't going to be tangling with other fighters.

Eziya Post 1 "Need some healing? Come to my booth! I've got all sorts of salves and magic to help with your injuries! Tired after your battle, we've got things for that too!" Eziya shouted to the crowd, hoping to get someone to come along. She was trying her hand at a small shop, seeing if any fighters or others would be interesting in buying her wares or services. She had no idea where Serr had run off to so it was just her running the small little booth. She'd spotted a woman earlier walking along that had looked familiar, but with how many people were around even that was an unknown.

Shesha Post 4 Shesha looked beyond pleased at those words, as though Aqio had said words made of pure magic, and his painted lips turned up into a rather happy smile, "I rather like the sound of that. Keep it that way for as long as you'd like, little fish." The idea that he was one of only two Obans that he liked made him feel quite special, which made the arrogant man very, very happy. How he hoped that it would remain as such for some time. Anyone was welcomed to favor Shesha over all the other Obans if they liked, but as Aqio was the first to sat such words it made him special. Not that Shesha would ever admit to such a thing. Looking forward again he listed as Aqio said that Lord Parthlio wouldn't be present for the tournament, that he actually loathed the idea, and he gave a slow nod, "I can see many on both sides thinking as much." Those from Oba who didn't want to share their space with the people that defeated them in the war as well as those from other lands who hated the Obans for their invasions. That people were here made this an interesting show to behold. "Hmm... you mean to dress up and dye your hair for your Rider then? Sounds like what I do to please my various patrons." With a little smirk and a chuckle he added, "I still wonder about exactly what is between the two of you, little fish." It had always seemed suspicious to him, but Aqio always assured him that it was nothing. Not as though he believed it, one didn't get things for free after all.

Bisera Post 4 "Vodyanoi? It's a pleasure to meet you!" He really did enjoy meeting members of the Matori people, finding them to be quite beautiful indeed. Their colorations, the patterns on their skin, the wonderful ears they had. There was just so much about them that gave him inspiration and had him starring... something he forced himself not to do despite the temptation. No, starring was rude and he was literally in the middle of a converation. He couldn't let himself space out. At the mention of Vodyanoi having a perzi kitten, one he didn't bring along because he was afraid a janarim would eat him, Bisera's dark blue eyes went a bit wide, "Ah... oh! I will be sure to keep Fractis near me so that doesn't happen to him!" He hadn't even considered that the kitten might be in danger since the tournament was a festival of sorts. Best that they kept Fractis close as he was still young and he didn't want him getting eaten by a larger beast. Even just the thought of such a thing happen was bad enough. Pushing such thoughts aside, as he didn't want to focus too hard on that sort of thing he asked, "You said you were a musician? May I ask what sort of instruments you play? Do you sing too?" He didn't know a lot of musicians so he had to admit he was curious. As Xarnith suddenly asked Vodyanoi if he wanted to grab some food with them he gave a smile, "You're more then welcome! Are we leaving to do that now? Or after a few more fights? I have to admit it's a great place to gather inspiration." So many warriors with so many muscles... it was a grand sight indeed! One he wasn't quite ready to abandoned, even if it meant finding something tasty to eat.

Aldren Post: 2Well, she looked a little worse for wear, but at least Zumei was still smiling. That seemed like a little blessing to Aldren. He slipped his arm around hers, linking them together, then gently tugged the blond woman from the arena entrance and headed for the crowded streets beyond. A muted chuckle slipped from him at her question. He waved in away nonchalantly. "Oh, no, no, of course not," he told her amicably. "But I expected as much, so it really isn't too terribly disappointing."
"Anyway," He shot her a grin of his own. "I figured since we both have plenty of time now and nothing better to do, how about we grab a bite? I can't imagine I've tasted much of anything from these lands, ever, so hopefully there are a few interesting choices about..." Judging by the smells, it wasn't a huge leap of the imagination.
"Maybe afterwards we can play a game or visit one of those fancy Oban springs. I'll have to retrieve Seph from Uncle's company at some point in the reasonably near future, but I don't suppose there's any need to worry over it now- Oh, wait." Aldren hesitated, stopped in his steps, and blinked back at his companion. "If you're tired, we could hold back and watch a few of the other matches? I don't want you to feel obligated to do anything, if it isn't something you're interested in."

Lucijah Post 2
Oh - it was rotten? Lucijah had jumped in surprise when another voice piped up from behind her, but they were appreciated nonetheless. Eyes widening in realization, Lucijah emit a low 'ooooh', then rounded on the sweating seller with a wicked grin, tapping one gauntlet-covered knuckle against the table, tauntingly. The girl beside her, who had been inquiring about the fish to start, was cracking her up with her goodnatured puns and jokes, and the older shifter shot her an appreciative grin, before rounding on the salesman once more.
She didn't have to say much - after all, the blue woman was handling it quite nicely for them. Instead, she leaned back and set her hands at her hips. "Can't say no to such a friendly invitation!" She agreed, turning away from the stall in dismissal. She mainly had Oban food nowadays, but many of Nera's servants were Matori, so such dishes weren't unfamiliar. That being said, likely a stall selling such delicacies would have much better quality food!
Intrigued, Lucijah dropped her eyes to the younger girl and gave her a nudge with her elbow, towards the friendly matori who had aided them. "Gotta say, you two are more perceptive than me. I wouldn't have guessed it'd be rotten until I tasted it. Thanks!" While many admitting their oversights would be embarassed by their failures, Lucijah seemed to wave it off without a second thought. She'd eaten plenty of nasty things in her time, but after nearly starving to death a few years before, she had stopped being picky. Even so, rotten food was a hazard - she'd need to be more careful for next time.MissBelikov Onora <3 such a sweetie! I'm so homesick for gumbo now ;3;
