Obstacle course? ******** yah. Bring it on.

---

Damn ******** STRAIGHT he did the obstacle course in record time! Castus expected nothing less from himself. He had been busting his a** so hard to build up his endurance and agility. It had gotten to the point where PE was one of the only classes he enjoyed, simply because it showed him just how much better he was getting.

Just to stroke his ego, Castus kept running the course to see if he could continue to beat his time, not even batting an eye at all the others who were struggling to finish even one round of the obstacle course.

He was feeling pretty good about himself.

Miku knew it was turn and he stood up and began to blurt out, "My favorite food is probably pizza, because not only is it Delicious but it's super easy to make, like basically anyone could make it. They also have like sooo many different types of pizzas and different ways to make pizzas, like tin and deep dish and round and stuffed and even calsones are basically pizzas, at least I think they count and no they probably aren't healthy at all but the cool thing about them is could could make them healthy with like spinach and pineapple, but I don't think anyone would ruin a pizza like that; so i'm going to go with no they aren't healthy but they are still my favorite." he had said so much so fast he hoped that the teacher was able to catch all of it.

obstacle course

oz

It was a nice day to run an obstacle course. Oz had tried to convince Howard of that, but the chimera just pat his cheek and went back to his herbalism textbook. He'd have to attend P.E. at some point if he wanted to graduate, but it was clear today was not that day.

Oz waved at Kirket as he approached the gathered students. This course looked like a piece of cake. The baphomet ran forward, grabbing the first obstacle, a climbing net.

As soon as his fingers wrapped around the criss-crossed ropes and he tried to lift himself off of the ground, the net snapped, sending him crashing to the ground.

greer

A rather goofy snort rose out of the crowd of nearby students. Most of the nightmares looked appropriately scandalized in response, but not Greer. He frankly didn't care who knew he had laughed, especially not that kid on the floor. He knew he could do better, and he was going to prove it.

The imp stepped forward, heading straight for the second obstacle, seeing as how the first one was unusable. Monkey bars. Greer grabbed the first one, and in a surprising mirror to Oz's attempt, it cracked under his hand, sending him crashing to the ground.

obstacle course

oz

Was someone laughing at him? Oz extracted himelf from the tangle of ropes and got to his feet, glaring at the colorful imp as the other senior strode forward to try the monkey bars. When he fell too, Oz suddenly understood how he felt. A laugh burst from his throat and he bent at the waist, slapping his knee.

"Care for a race?" he asked, crouching into a starting gate stance. Without waiting for a response, Oz sped past the broken obstacles and through the tire run with ease. Behind him he heard a muffled crash, but he kept going, shimmying across a wide cylinder that was positioned over a pool of water. His wet hooves made it difficult to get up the next obstacle—a wall climb—but he still made it relatively quickly, conquering the treadmill and speeding across the finish line.

When he turned around to gloat, the imp was no longer behind him. Oz felt a flash of disappointment, but it was gone as soon as it had come. He'd won! That was all that really mattered right now.

"You're o—"

Before Greer could counter with a snappy comeback, the mouthy baphomet was off, hurrying through the obstacles with surprising ease. Greer followed, getting halfway past the tire run before tripping and sending at least six of them flying through the air behind him.

Desperate to make it through, Greer hurried on, at least until he reached the water noodle. While it was true that his tail afforded him decent balance on land, on an unsteady tube of foam floating over a pool, it held no such benefit. At least a dozen students passed him as he slowed down, taking his time with the course. He was quite certain that this assignment was trying to kill him.

The wall received the same slow, careful treatment. By the time he was over it, it was a wonder there was anyone still left in class.

Oz had doubled back once he had completed the course and was keeping pace with Greer from the sidelines, too curious about this cocky kid who went from ferocious to deliberate at the drop of a hat. The imp was so caught up in his careful navigation that he didn't even notice Oz's presence, not until he was nearly at the end. When he finally did, the boy scowled.

"Teach you to laugh at people who're better than you," Oz said, grin wide.

Greer narrowed his eyes again. Back near the start of the course something crashed and fell. The imp stared straight ahead, not blinking.

Something else went down noisily. Was he causing this? Was his poor performance forcing the course to disintegrate behind him? Greer closed his eyes and sighed.

obstacle course

greer

There was only one obstacle left standing after his horrible performance: the treadmill. Greer squared his shoulders and refrained from looking at the self-satisfied baphomet as he hurried forward, bounding up the moving belt at record speed. At least he had done something right. Despite his horrible showing, he couldn't help a grin and a chuckle for his fellow classmate's cheeky thumbs up. He might have lost this time, but there would be plenty of other times to best the other nightmare.

User ImageBlythe shuffled into the health class. Again, they had hoped for something different from what they were given. They had hoped it would be something where they could run or jump or climb. None of that, as they sat down in a chair and listened to what the assignment was this time. Blythe was not disappointed in the slightest however, they always made any situation into a positive one. Ah, answer a question about their healthy habits. Very easy! Blythe was already wriggling in their chair waiting for their turn as patiently as they could manage. Yes! Now it was their turn. Blythe shot up from their chair excitedly, bouncing happily as they spoke. "Yes! Hello, I'm Blythe! I love to run! I run a lot. Sometimes I just have to go anywhere really fast because it feels really good!" Blythe paused for a moment, and then ran in place for a moment. "Oh yes! And I can't sit still very well. Valentein says I just have too much energy and so I jump up and down sometimes. Especially when I'm really happy about something! I mean, I don't really consciously do anything to keep it up, it just happens!" Blythe stopped and hopped a bit more than looked around then sat back down. Blythe smiled awkwardly as some people were staring again. Then they waved and laughed. Apparently, Blythe thought it was amusing that people were taking such an interest in them instead of being embarrassed by the stares.

The young demon scratched her head. Phaedra never really thought about what her favorite food was... She just enjoyed eating food. "hm," she mumbled to herself softly. She knew she liked sweet stuff - like cookies and apples and candy and... She really liked juice too. Did juice count as a food? Or were drinks not considered food? Perhaps it was best to go with an answer that would please her teacher. Her eyes shifted down uncomfortably and when it was her turn to share, she quietly said, "I like apples... And apple juice... Mostly juice. I like how it's sweet. Sweet stuff is delicious. But umm-- A-apples... I think apples are healthy because I think there's a saying about how apples keep sickies away or something." She gulped audibly and put her head down, clearly not wanting to talk anymore.

Zephyr giggled happily and volunteered to answer. They always enjoyed sharing and answering...! Puffing out their chest proudly, Zephyr said, "My favorite food is salmon! I like when there's salmon for dinner because I can like, smell it from a mile away and it's just like super super super good, hee hee hee!" The bakaneko did pause at the question on whether food was healthy or not. The poor babbin couldn't seem to comprehend what that meant. Food could be bad for you...? But food was what kept everyone alive. Scratching their neck, they shrugged. "I think it's good for you because I haven't heard of anyone dying from salmon!"
