Rei decided to try giving up on climbing on the Buizel's back. Perhaps he was a bit too big to perch on the other pokemon comfortably. Instead he opted to grab onto the Buizel's tail, carefully biting onto it just hard enough to maintain his grip while paddling with all four paws. The Buizel towed him along and made sure he didn't get too far off course.
This seemed to work much better, and before long the pair made it to the opposite shore. Rei clambered onto the bank and shook himself dry. "Thank you for your assistance," he told the Buizel, who saluted before diving back into the river to help someone else.

Bella mews as she had avoided the cave at all cost due to the fact that she didn't like the bat pokemon too much. They were too much of a screeching fellow to her. She shakes her head as she moves to head to the river. Without missing a step, she would dive into the water. It seems that she was one of the rare feline pokemon that actually likes the water. She would start paddling towards the other side of the river to see what was going on.

During the swim, she noticed a sharp pain in one of her back legs as she whimpered. She moved to a nearby rock in the middle of the river. She would glance around to see what was going on.
((Last quote of the night)) Goliath pondered on what Caliban had said for a long time before he finally spoke. "Maybe not so much a opposite direction, just on a different branch of the path..." He paused a bit "You've seen the world and you have probably seen a lot of things in your quest for a quiet home, but to me it's like you're at the end of a long journey back to your home." he paused trying to find the right words "Even if you just find a place to call home, here or anywhere, right now. It's not the end that matters, but the path you walk." He grinned up at the leafeon like he had just thought of something clever. "Because home to me isn't a place just to go back to, it's the friends you have met along the way and family you have in that place." He looked out lazily at the pokemon swimming or riding buizels over. "So maybe our paths aren't opposite, just a little different from each other."

Rei started to look over the river to see how the other pokemon were doing, especially Chi. But before he caught sight of the pink Growlithe, he hard a rustling behind him. Startled, he spun around to face them, but all he saw were bushes. Nothing seemed to be moving now, but he looked over them anyway, more curious than wary. Eventually he decided it must have just been one of the other pokemon from the group and turned back toward the river.
Leaving the Leafeon to his thoughts Goli went to go explore. Unfortunately his sense of balance from the cave didn't reset in the sunlight. He trips over a rock and ends up face first in mud.

Marmalade thought perhaps that she was too heavy and that was why she was making so little progress. She considered speaking to the buizel and apologising, but didn't want to choke on any water.
Perhaps her thoughts distracted her but she lost her grip on the buizel and fell into the water. She loosed a stream of bubbles screaming for help and the buizel accidentally struck her with one hind leg as it pivoted in the water before scooping her up.
Marmalade gasped and choked. "Th..n...s..." she said wheezily, a half drowned version of 'thanks'.
After getting most of the mud off of him, Goli finds a leaf at his feet. He picks it up and places it beside the mushroom.

Marmalade fell again- she was getting very cold and waterlogged. The buizel rescued her again but she felt like she could no longer hold up under the vicious river.
Goli explored around the area. He heard a noise coming from the bushes near by. He wandered over to investigate. He did not find anything.

Marmalade suddenly felt dirt under her paws and she crawled up the opposite bank, coughing. She thanked the buizel and lay down for a few moments to dry off.
Chi looked back at Rei as the Buizel ferried her along. She was uneasy about the river, fire types weren't amazing swimmers, even if they'd learned how to swim. The Growlithe line had a thick coat of fur on their tales and necks, which tended to weigh them down when wet. Her ride continued to be a smooth one across.

The canine began to wonder how wide the river actually was. It seemed to end surprisingly fast for some of the other pokemon. Her ride continued to be happily eventless.
