Radiant Anon Solsi Sammy...didn't really know what to say to that. "Thank...you?" She broke the eye contact and stared over at the wall. "You really know what to say to a girl..." she muttered to herself, feeling confused and slightly insecure now.OOC: Good. ^^ ...I guess it's too late to loan out the red speckled pillow pet? His brow lifted as she broke eye contact. Giving a soft sigh, he moved his hand from her waist and gently touched her chin.
"More and more I realize I really do not. I meant no harm by it. I would like to be able to talk to you, yet you seem to prefer being quiet while you dance. I can go with that. I am impressed with your want to keep focus, you do it well."
Moving his hand back, he bowed his head a moment.
"I will keep quiet as well, if you would prefer that."
((Heh, maybe next time. Thank you just the same. ))

Her expression went from derailed to shocked as he reached out and held her chin, speaking apologetically. Damn his hearing is better than I thought. emotion_sweatdrop she thought awkwardly to herself. When he let go, she shook her head at the misunderstanding. "I-it's not that," she assured, "I don't prefer it, I guess I just get...distracted. By something. I'm all better now. We can talk if you want."OOC: *slides it under your arm* (>'-')>

Damn his hearing is better than I thought. emotion_sweatdrop she thought awkwardly to herself. When he let go, she shook her head at the misunderstanding. "I-it's not that," she assured, "I don't prefer it, I guess I just get...distracted. By something. I'm all better now. "If it is too distracting, we do not have to talk. I would prefer you have fun, not feel nervous or fret over getting steps right."

Sure, feel free to switch it up. His brow stayed raised, but after a moment it lowered and he nodded.
"Alright, I shall press no more."
At that point the song ended and a new one began. Tobias felt a slight smile tug at his lips. He was familiar with this song, though from where he could not recall.
"Think you can do alright with this one?"
Letting her hand go, he put both arms around her waist, drawing her a little closer.
"A little less formal seems more fitting for this song. If you do not mind, that is."
((At least it's a comfortable swarm?

Gwen quietly slips into the dance, totally not skipping school despite wearing her uniform anyway. She looks around curiously, slightly hopeful that there would be something not chocolate here to eat.

"Sorr - oop!" she was about to apologize for giving him the wrong impression when he suddenly drew her nearer. Landing with both arms over each of his shoulders she quieted, blinking and meeting his eyes. The song had changed to something bolder, not exactly fit for a slow dance. Wait, were his hands...? "N-not at all," she stammered at first, accepting his invitation to even her own surprise. "What did you have in mind?"OOC: At least until they're all over your car and house like in The Birds.
Haha. I like it. Sammy needs a dose of terrible, it'd do her some good.

"I haven't told them yet, I only just figured it out myself."
A blush crept over his cheeks and extended to his ears,
"They're here, but with someone else. That's why it's a dance emergency. We have to get over there."
Charlie turned Rae so she could see where Tobias and Sammy were dancing.
"Think you can manage it?"
"Love at first sight, hm? Alright." Now that she was turned the other way, she could finally see who he was referring to. But which one? What a dilemma.
"Yes, I think we could manage it.." Hearing the change in song, Rae adjusted her dance style accordingly. This time, she was the one leading. Hoping he could follow along at a decent pace, she lead them over close to where Sammy and Tobias were now dancing. Giving her friend a gentle shove, she pointed to the others with a smile.
"Go on, then. I doubt at least Toby would mind the interruption. The worst thing that could happen is they could say no." Using his own logic against him? It was possible, and maybe she could get through to him that way. Who knows, maybe something would come of it.

"Heh, sorry if that was too sudden. Nothing too fancy, step up on your toes on the odd counts, drop almost to that heel on the even, then the same on the other side on the next odd count. Get a little sway going with the rhythm. Sound alright?"
As he spoke, he started moving with the beat. He hoped this would give her a further idea of what he meant. Hopefully she could get it down before the song changed again. When it did, he'd pull back from her some, reverting to a more formal distance again.
((Are they making that garbled mix of animal noises too? Yes, I can see this.
Heh, are you sure you want to encourage such behavior?

Following his lead she counted out the steps until she got the hang of the pattern. "It's catchy." she admitted after a moment. "See, you're a fine sensei. Now with the new song on, he gave her more room again. He opted to simply rest his hands on her waist for now.
((The apocalypse was deceptively cuddlier than one would have guessed.
Perhaps I'll be terrible again shortly, for now I'll try and hold off so Charming can get in. ))

"Have to admit, this might be my favorite dance so far. Very...educational." Even she didn't buy that one, she had to talk herself into it making any sense, but, as was in her nature, succeeded in that effort. As the song drew to a close their movements stopped, only their hands staying as they were.OOC: They want us to...nap to death? I guess? The objective isn't very clear.
Sounds good to me, on both ends. This'll be my last post till he arrives.

He was trying to mostly let that slide by, but being him it was hard to let it go altogether. At least as the song died out completely his smirk had softened to a smile.

Sammy turned slightly as she sensed someone approaching them. She was surprised to see it was their vice captain, known to her only as Charming, asking one of them for a dance. She looked at Tobias and then back at him, wondering who he was addressing. "It's okay by me. How about you, Tobias?" she asked quietly, letting him go and stepping back a little.OOC: ~
